Matsu premium matcha & coffee

I am Japanese traveling cities in Europe, and I think the matcha latte here is the best in my life in outside Japan. If you like to have Japanese experience in Europe, this could be one of them.

Cozy coffee with great atmosphere. One of the best matcha lattes i’ve had in Europe. I do recommend a 2nd shot of matcha, they have really tasty matcha!!!

Matcha latte was ordered. It is too diluted with milk. Also, the temperature was not warm enough. It feels like drinking warmed matcha flavored milk. On the positive side, the place is well decorated with plants, and plays nice music. So it gives you a nice break from outside.

Amazing cafe, the interior is super cozy and stylish, the service was friendly and fast, the price fair (4.10€ for a matcha latte) and most important of all the matcha latte I had was absolutely delicious. I just came back to Europe a few days ago after spending over a month in Japan so my matcha standards are pretty high but Matsu didn’t disappoint me. 100/10 Definitely recommended! I‘d go to Bratislava a second time only to have another cup of their delicious matcha latte :)

Update: My only complaint is the small selection of cakes available for purchase. There are usually only 1-2 items and none of them are dairy-free (as pointed out by a vegan friend yesterday). My favourite cafe in Bratislava! I come here at least once or twice per week to enjoy a nice coffee or cocktail in the old town square. The menu is great, lots of options and reasonable prices, especially considering the location. I've tried the cappuccino, latte (unflavored, pumpkin spice and caramel), matcha latte, watermelon shake, passion fruit soda and a couple of cocktails - everything is delicious! I've brought multiple friends here and they always love it too. The service is hit or miss but that's common in Bratislava. There is a second Matsu location in the city that has a better menu and more space to sit inside.

We really loved the vibe of this cute little place. Their coffee and cake tastes amazing. Probably the best coffe in Bratislava. Small and cozy place with nicely playes music 🎶. The staff is very friendly and helpful. A perfect spot to take a break from walking in the city. Everything is clean and well-organised. Coffee tastes really good. Don't forget to order at the bar☝️

Kind staff, great matcha and the pastries that change time to time. They have daifuku as well, which I really like 💪 What I would recommend is the matcha cookies as well since they have rich matcha flavour and the chocolate chips make it better. 100/10

I wanted to buy some of their beans to take them with me. The ladies offered me beans from their store supplies and packed them nicely for the flight. A perfect spot to take a break from walking in the city or a small get together with friends. They have a cozy ambience with Japanese background music.
