Very good and authentic Japanese restaurant. Service was very good and the ambiance relaxing. Sushi was very good and I enjoyed it. I also liked the Miso soup alot. The only disappointment was the gigantic California roll. I have no idea why they are this big. I struggled to pick one up with my hand because, there was no way a pair of chopsticks would be able to.

Very reasonable price and quality dish. I went there for lunch and it was quick, tasty and cheap! Highly recommended as a Japanese.

Went twice for dinner, starters (fried chicken) and bento are always unavailable. It's just a shame to put dishes on the menu and they always says unavailable. We tried yakitori, 5 frozen skewers for 23€. Really expensive for its quality. However, if you come for sushi and sashimi, it's worth it if you get the "menu sushi". Again, expensive if not.

Must be the worst experience in my whole paris trip!!! If you come for experiencing Japanese manners and atmosphere you should really walk away right now. We just walked in before midnight and asked for a table for two. It's simply very few customers having meals and easily to see quite a few empty tables there. Abusolutely not in busy time! However there is no even a single welcome word from the house and the auntie from the kitchen showed us a very narrow and tiny and uncomfortable seat sophisticatedly right beside the corner. If you went there before you would know every single word I mentioned here is exactly correct for that! There is even a customer next to us that blocked half of that table so that neither me nor my friend couldn't go pass and take the seat there. I could say the whole restaurant is 80% empty instead of half empty. I believe we are not the first one who get treated like that since she seems so skilled on bad manners and double standards.

a real japonese chef makes the best sushi and sashimi, with the fresh fish, according to the season of the fish! amazing! a hidden gem!

4 stars. Located a short walk back from the louvre. Quantity of the produce was good but the presentation / execution could do with some work. Would happily eat there again. Had a very nice small bottle of sake. About €90 for 2 people for entree, main and a few drinks

Nice family business with friendly service - not too much variety in the sashimi but they were fresh and that's the most important.

Fresh and tasty sushi and sashimi. If you are a big fan of sashimi, go here for quality food at affordable price. We pay 100€ for this Mixed boat. The resto is run by Japaneses. They are very friendly :)

Came for dinner, had tempura, yakitori, sushi bento box. Great friendly service and the fish was very fresh, tempura was well prepared and not greasy. A really great spot for sushi. Also has a small wine list.

My son and I ate here and I don't recommend it. The menu was very old and faded and not descriptive of the food. 3 out of the 5 things we ordered we unavailable! This place just wasn't that good. The two ladies serving us were very nice.

Very authentic Japanese restaurant. If you are truly looking for a real Japanese restaurants where the owners and servers speak Japanese and frequented by Japanese then you will not be disappointed. Anyway it is my go to place for Japanese food.

I went Matsuda for dinner at around 10pm on a rainy day. Not many customers there. I wanted to eat some hot food so I asked about the beef don, but I was told that's for lunch menu. Chef heard it and said he could make it for me. Sooooo nice! The beef don was tasty and the sashimi was very fresh. The price was reasonable and acceptable. The waiter and the chef wondered how I knew the restaurant. I showed them Yelp. They were surprised haha. I had a very pleasant dinner here. Although the menu is simple, I highly recommend it if you'd like to have some authentic sushi or sashimi.

Five stars for the authenticity and quality of the fish, 4 stars for service. The Chirashi "chefs special" was as good as it gets.

We had some of he most fresh and delicious sushi ever. I got the Chita shirt and my husband had the sushi plate. It was his first time having sea urchin and he says it's the best he's ever had!

We had lunch there with my wife and three kids. The food was delicious. The kids ordered the lunch menus with chicken and beef skewers. Another one ordered the Gyoza. I ordered skewers and sushi. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We would definitely recommend. Very high quality and good value.
