Google
This place deserves more than 5 stars! I cannot wait to take friends there. The wine is excellent and I was so incredibly impressed by how warm, welcoming and accommodating the hostess working that day was. I'm in a wheelchair and and often times accessibility at places like wineries is usually a challenge. The hostess working that day made it happen for me! The grounds are gorgeous too. We ordered one of their cheese boards that they had on the menu, and it was outstanding! What a wonderful experience. We will certainly be back.

Google
Peaceful location for a lovely get together with friends. Fantastic wine and food pairings...plus knowledgeable and friendly staff.

Solow S.

Google
What a beautiful setting that transports you. The staff was incredibly accommodating, charcuterie board was fantastic, and the ability to play some bocce with your favorite glass of wine in hand was top. We even were treated to a mini tour and photo ops!

Maggie W.

Google
We absolutely adore this spot. You feel like you’re invited to your good family’s garden and you are treated that way—The owner is absolutely lovely. Highly recommend getting their mixed cheese board! Absolutely decadent. Plus their bubblies are sooo yummy.

Google
Came there today with my sister for a sister date. Hostess was nice and let us know the waitress would be with us. I asked about flights since their were multiple tables with flights. When the waitress came and I asked about flights she said sorry we dont do flights on the weekends. However as stated there were two tables with multiple flights. My sister and I left this establishment after poor service was provided. Mind you there were only 6 vehicles in the parking lot and the tables were already served with FLIGHTS! Will not be returning there.

Google
Came here a couple of weeks ago with a friend. It was very relaxing. The wine was good and the people there are very knowledgeable and take you through how each wine you're tasting was made (if you're interested). The food was actually pretty good too. It was all affordable. I would go again.

Google
Never been there before, they are very inviting and have a nice set up. There are people to assist you everywhere touring the vineyard. I will put them on my recommendations list for more business.

Google
Great experience from the reservation process to the wine tasting and meat & cheese boards! Chris & Dan were great and very attentive. The place had beautiful views. My family and I really enjoyed our visit and will be back again!

Yelp
awesome vineyards and awesome staff!! Literally the best boards on the North Fork! Wine was incredible! You don't want to miss this place!!

Doris R.

Yelp
We visited the vineyard this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with friends. Service was excellent, wine was exceptional along with boards we ordered. Really loved the experience however the porta-potty was a killer for such a nice place with good quality products. I noticed a review mentioning it before going and thought it was just a temporarily situation at time due renovations or some situation, however it seems this is not the case. I was able to share my comments to the owner Christine in hopes upgrading to an actual restroom for guests would be something she would consider. Maryann was excellent very knowledgeable and lovely. We would love to return once the place is nicely situated with the restroom situation.

Yelp
We were greeted with free tastes of their latest white release. Delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and refined. Think wine in a garden. No crowds, no cover bands. (Not that those are necessarily bad.) Wound up tasting in their store. Bought four bottles. Didn't take tasting notes. Enjoying the 2022 Steel Chardonnay. Must return.

Yelp
Made reservations ahead of time, had to fill out a form and chose our tastings, food and where we wanted to sit ahead of time. We included that we were celebrating our two year wedding anniversary. Upon arrival we were greeted and given congratulations on our celebration. Everyone was so nice. We picked a spot near the garden area. As we had chosen our tastings beforehand we didn't have to wait long. Plus complimentary sparkling wine for our anniversary. We also got one of the mixed boards for food. It was a lot for two people but we hadn't had much to eat so it worked out well. The whole experience was very nice, and the outside area was nicely done. Only downside, no indoor bathroom, just the porta bathrooms. Otherwise it was a great experience and I would certainly come back.

Yelp
So. Many. Mosquitos. Not really their fault, but come prepared with bug spray as I am still covered in bites that are healing very slowly a week later. Be prepared. Beautiful winery with the best wine in the area, but also the most expensive. This is the only place in North Fork where the red is drinkable, but at ais worth it only because of the ambiance that goes with it. They were very kind, letting us stay about an hour past closing since we were waiting for a late train. All in all a great experience!
google avatar

Bill M.

Yelp
Great spot with a very knowledgeable host. She talked about the winery and their wines in detail. Relaxed and had a great flight of reds and whites. I especially liked the reserve Chardonnay, Rose and the 2014 red. Delicious!
google avatar

Vijay S.

Yelp
Nice winery in Long Island. Each part of the winery has its own character, and they have different seating arrangements for groups of 4-8. The wines & charcuterie boards are on the pricey side. We got the White wine tasting menu. It was 38$ and we got to taste 9 different wines. They were all quite good. The service was Aok. The negatives were the porta potty situation and the cash only tips. They should get real bathrooms and not many people have cash with them. Overall it was a good experience.
google avatar

Matt M.

Yelp
I have to say that this was a wonderful experience. After going to a nearby winery (Croteaux) years ago, I have since tried to find a winery that makes me feel I am truly at a winery. I'm talking about character, ambiance, service and experience. This winery does take large groups but large space is limited and a reservation is needed. The reservation process is archaic and you do need to book one in order to receive a flight. (They do accept walk ins, but you have to purchase bottles or glasses, not a flight). I think this winery caters to groups of about 4-8, which attracted me here in the first place because I wanted the experience to be more intimate (2 person party). Each part of the winery has its own character; pebble walkways, flowers, garden, igloos, fire pits, benches around trees, cottages, barns and canopies. Going in, I knew they were expensive ($47 for a flight, but you do get 6 wines), and the cheese boards were pricey as well. My wife and I split a $50 one that could have easily satisfied 3-4 people and the presentation was fantastic. We also loved almost every wine in the flight, they are very similar in ingredients. My only gripe was the bathroom situation. The port a potty was a damper to the experience and I wish they invest in real bathrooms. You go through these beautiful grounds and then have to go in a port a potty? Sure they have flowers in it and a cute washing station outside, but really? Anyway, I would highly, highly recommend Mattebella and I look forward to coming back.

Yelp
Stopped by this vineyard and was pleasantly surprised at what we found. Numerous and various styles of sitting areas arranged throughout the grounds including igloos for inclement weather. Gardens throughout the vineyard offer a bucolic setting with plenty of shade unlike other vineyards that rely on umbrellas. Their wines ( many an oak and steel cask blend) are made on premises except for the Riesling wine and the signature wine cocktails are fantastic. In particular their Summer Kiss cocktail. The manager Maryann G was extremely professional, attentive and courteous and answered everyone's questions. Although it's pricey I highly recommend this vineyard.

Yelp
Back to gush about Mattebella. My absolute favorite vineyard! Everyone who works here is always so nice and the service is amazing!! I love the vibe, lots of greenery, and absolutely beautiful tables and gazebos. I love that they have so many options for drinks, the sangria is my favorite! The first time I came here, the owner I believe, told me how to make it and it's literally the only drink I know how to make now. I went for a nonalcoholic sparkly pink lemonade this time and it was Delicious! I have friends of varying faiths who just want to come experience a vineyard without drinking wine so I love that they have some nonalcoholic options. I brought home their sparkling rose, which is perfect for making their signature sangria! Another absolute star here are the charcuterie boards!! They are the best I've ever tried at a vineyard, so YUMMY! I can't even explain how good it is, you just have to experience it yourself, HIGHLY RECOMMEND this vineyard. I usually end up staying here for hours and forget to vineyard hop, that's how much I love it here.

Yelp
Don't even read my review just get in the car and go experience this place for yourself. I don't expect to like every wine when going out there but in my tasting I enjoyed all of them. I always do a tasting but my wife is more the wine drinker and I'm the beer guy but they had some wine cocktails so I thought I'd branch out a bit and give one a try and boy was I wasn't sorry I did. I'd take that lemon wine cocktail over any mixed alcohol drink out there. The seating is quirky in a good way. It's spread out everywhere in a different places and different kinds of eggshell swings, couches and standard table and chairs. They have a few decent sized enclosures you can reserve if you're going with a group and even an igloo if you're there on a chilly/rainy day. Now the service was great. Waitress was very attentive. It was a day it was supposed to rain and then didn't so it was one woman at first doing her best but once some help arrived everything seemed to move flawlessly. What was better then the wine and the cocktail in my opinion was that shredded duck in the pot pictured below. It was amazing. I could see myself getting in the car and driving there from Smithtown just to sit down with my lemon cocktail and eating that whole pot for lunch. This is definitely a new regular stop for us when we're out there!
google avatar

Angel M.

Yelp
If you love the idea of "out east" and wine then you came to the right place. Even if you would rather a "cocktail" more than wine then you also arrived at the right place. The wine is great and they make many different, delicious, wine based cocktails that make you forget it's wine. Food is artisanal with everything from duck to boar. Sounds crazy....I get it. But you'll enjoy it. Beautiful sitting areas combined with amazing service from the manager, Maryann. Walk the grounds. Have a few cocktails. Enjoy the food. But plan to stay bc it's a wonderful day out.
google avatar

Joel S.

Yelp
Friendly service and very comfortable scenery. Wines are mediocre and expensive. The cheese platters were excellent but as expected pricey to say the least. All in all, a nice experience.
google avatar

Yelp
I have been going to the north folk for many years. This is my favorite winery by far. Beautiful setting. Great wine. Great service. Been here twice and I never felt uncomfortable even though I was there for three hours relaxing and drinking some fine wine. Best charcuterie board. Get the 2015 old world red. A bit pricey. But actually worth it

Yelp
It's amazing that after making reservations and spending close to 2k our party received the worst spot on 22 acres of land. I chose this vineyard for its private location further down from the strip of farms and vineyards to avoid crowds with all the COVID guidelines. We were told there would be fire pits, the weather was cold and while we dressed accordingly we couldn't compete the temperature and being sat in the shade next to the parking lot and shed didn't help. When I asked about the fire pits they informed us they simply did not have them out yet . We weren't advised that with the new covid guidelines our food couldn't be served with plates and utensils. The seating was awkward and took away from the experience you're also using a porta potty. I will say the porta potties were clean, scented and a hand washing station was readily available. Key notes: The hosts and owner were lovely the boards were delicious but I would NOT return for the wine or location. Our flights were were served at different times where we couldn't enjoy our tastings together, it seemed counterproductive to order your flights ahead of time as the staff seemed to be scrambling last minute when we arrived. I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU REQUEST SEATING OR INQUIRE ABOUT WHERE YOU'LL BE SAT.
google avatar

Carol W.

Yelp
The charcuterie and cheese plates are stunning here!! Especially the charcuterie included wagyu beef, roasted duck, and wild boar which were all really interesting. The included jams/dips were also really good. I got the white wine flight to share with friends which came with 9 wines. Our favorite was the one with pineapple notes! I had made the reservation online for gazebo seating on a Sunday afternoon. We got there like 5 minutes before the reserved time and saw both gazebo areas were taken. Kind of seemed like a mistake on their part that they didn't really address... (otherwise this would be 4 stars). The service was nice but a bit slow at times.

Theresa E S.

Yelp
Everything goes well here. The wines are outstanding. It's small, intimate, and just beautiful. So is the family.
google avatar

Megan M.

Yelp
If you're looking for an eclectic intimate yet exciting winery, this is the place to go! MaryAnn who is so hospitable and caring. The charcuterie is personable, authentic, and the wine is top notch. Even on a dreary, rainy day, this place will bring your spirits up!

Yelp
An Awesome find. Thank you Yelpers! We took a ride out East to Mattebella Vineyards which was an amazing 1st visit. It is different than other vineyards. The parking lot is smaller than usual. It is by appointment & they're doing the best that they could to enforce the Covid safety. We ordered a bottle of there best red wines Old World Blend 2013. It was a perfect blends of wine with smooth taste. I would Highly recommend it! We ordered an Italian Platter which was one of the best that I've ever had in a vineyard. The Burrata was delicious & Parmigiano Cheese was so fresh, as well as the Olives & fig. The Bread was also so fresh. We had a relaxing & wonderful afternoon. I was impressed by the portable bathrooms they were extremely clean with a scented candle inside. Water soap & sanitizer located right outside. The only thing I would recommend is plastic plates & utensils for food verse the napkins. What's nice is also have a indoor igloo bubble for the cold weather approaching. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience at Mattebella. We had John as our experience leader through the process. At first I booked via email at the time I wanted on the day I wanted to ensure we were taken care of. That process was a bit antiquated (print PDF, fill out and scan back to return), but I went with it. It was all confirmed in a few days and we were set. Arrival - it seemed busy but we were on a list and whisked away to our table immediately. My, what a table we had. The decor made us feel like we were at a wedding! The table didn't look like another tasting came before (even though it was 2:30 PM and there was), and it backed to the vineyards and away from everyone else. It was my partners birthday so there was a print out of his name and the wine's wed be trying - it was so organized and prepared, again it felt like a wedding! John was incredibly knowledgeable on the winery, each of the wines and grapes, and the flavors. He truly made it an unforgettable experience. We tried some with and some without foods just to bring out the flavors, he made it like a really fun game that was educational and a party for your tastebuds. The temperature in late September was perfect, we had a tent to shield from the sun but it was sunny and beautiful so we could still enjoy it. Bathrooms - they are port-o-potties, but they are the nicest ones you've ever tried! This was the one negative part in reviews, but it had a hand wash station and they were clean so it's really not anything to complain about. The grounds were well kept, some people had dogs, the music was perfect and overall it was just our favorite winery. Can't thank John and the winery enough. We will be back!

Yelp
This was my first experience at a vineyard. Let me start off with saying the purpose of this visit was for my 25th birthday. With Covid-19, and my birthday approaching, I needed something to look forward to. I considered what would be safe of a small group, what was open, and what could be a pleasant experience. I knew I was looking for 3 things: relaxing, boujee, and clean. I found Mattebella exceptional, the waiter was so kind, attentive, and give us suggestions on which platters would be best for the group. I believe his name was Dan, good guy. As for the abundance, there was music playing, not too loud, not too low, just right. We had ordered the Large Italian platter. It was beautiful and delicious. I did order an additional eggplant dish which was a hit as well. I had 9 people in my group so a lot of food was necessary. As for the wines, since it was a larger group, I had notified the vineyard in advance which flights each member was selecting. We sat under a gazebo. There's multiple gazebos and tables in the vineyard that are spaced out. We were far enough from others that no one in the group felt uncomfortable, especially during COVID-19 times. In addition, we didn't heard other groups chitter chatter which can be distracting. It really was such a peaceful and relaxing experience. Another thing I loved was the bathroom experience, very clean, they put candles and flowers in the women's stalls. It was not necessary but a nice touch that make the whole experience something greater than I could ever imagine. Overall a wonderful vineyard, in regards to price... the quality of service, the atmosphere, and the dining was well worth every penny.
google avatar

Maria V.

Yelp
Ok so this place right here is my favorite winery in North Fork thus far!! For one - the sangria is the BEST! Beside none of the other wineries i have been to serve sangria . It's so delish . Yum yum yum! Two- this place is low key and relaxing... like a beautiful back yard garden party ... plenty of seating . They were playing soulful music like Marvin Gaye , Sade and Al Green . Three- the crostinis are super yummy and perfect to eat with your wine or sangria Honestly I wanted to stay here all day. Bathrooms are porta potty's but they were very clean and there was a hand washing station outside. I look forward to coming back here again Cheers Xoxo

Yelp
Unfortunately this was an underwhelming experience. It took about ten minutes for the hostess to come out and show us where to sit. It was a pretty small crowd for a weekday yet it seemed like there weren't any staff to help or support. The cheese board was delicious but the white wine flight was very underwhelming. We also were served there flight without much detail About each wine so it didn't help shape the experience. We really liked the background music and the grounds seemed pretty. Hostess was sweet but it seemed almost impossible for her to cater to every party there by herself.
google avatar

Clarissa C.

Yelp
Absolutely incredible place! The wine is so delicious and made with love. The food is outstanding as well. This is a hidden gem on the north fork!

Alicia M.

Yelp
Great find! Very nice place to sit and enjoy a flight or glass of wine. Extensive menu-will try next time!

Mackenzie M.

Yelp
Wow! This place is beautiful so many "rooms" in the outdoors--roses everywhere! And their hydrangeas are huge-so incredible. If you like nature, and the out doors, this is your place--hummingbirds, butterflies, honey bees--and so many birds On to the wines--The 2015 Old World Blend is full bodied and complex-worth sharing. Other people enjoyed the Blanc de Blanc (dry, toasty) and some liked the 2020 White Chardonnay (subtle, not too dry). Get a cheese platter. The bees may visit for something sweet, but they are focused and left us alone. The cheeses are incredible! As are the little containers of jams. Our server was Maryann with help from lauryn. Everyone who works there was having a good time--from the hostess, to the owner. A great visit!

Yelp
What an amazing day celebrating our graduates. Beautiful landscapes, beautiful vineyards. We will be back.

Yelp
Mattebella pours their heart and soul into every glass and you can taste the difference. I've been here on two very different occasions: the first during a bachelorette wine tour and the second on a day trip with the husband. Both times, we were greeted with exceptional service. The tasting is on the higher end of the line but so worth it. We ordered 3 crostini to go along with our tasting and savored each and every bite. We even ordered a fresh loaf of bread which came with delicious olive oil. We will be back soon to enjoy Mattebella with our friends!

Yelp
If you want ambiance, you've come to the right place. This quaint little vineyard is hidden up a dirt road out east on Long Island. It's nearly all outdoor seating with gazebo covering. There are outdoors heaters to keep you warm during the cooler months. This vineyard is definitely on the quieter side compared to some other vineyards in the area. The only toilets available are porta-potties, so don't wear anything too fancy. Our group of 15ish made a reservation for a Saturday afternoon in the fall. We each had a tasting of 8 different types of wine for around $24. I really enjoyed the variety it included: whites, reds, rosés, and sparkling. There is a limited menu of meats, cheeses, and little snacks available.

Matthew B.

Yelp
Stopped in on a COLD Saturday spent wine tasting in the area No signs in the parking lot to guide you and tell you where to go. We walked the path into the tiny tasting room, only to be told that we had to take an igloo. That would have been fine if the heater went higher than a puff. But, we sat in the cold for a few minutes, checking out the menu. The prices for the tastings were absurd, and we were uncomfortably cold. We opted to order two mulled ciders. When we got them several minutes later, we tasted them and found them unbelievably sweet. When we finished, we went back indoors to pay and say "bye bye." The check for two cups of cider was $32.00! I am not one argue, so I paid it. But I will probably never come back for another transparent money-grab.

K H.

Yelp
very over priced on wine and food. their bathrooms are port a pots but they put flowers in the urinal for the women to make it better lol. nothing to dry your hands after washing them at the soap and water jug area. Pass this one by because there are better ones out there!

Angelica C.

Yelp
My family and I had a wonderful experience here today. I coordinated and communicated with Christine, who answered all of my questions and was always very kind. Today we spent two hours there (the allotted reservation time) enjoying some flights, glasses, and bottles of wine as well as their meat and cheese platters. With 7 adults came about 7 different palates, and we each were able to find a wine (or multiple) we wanted to drink. We also ordered one of their Cheese Boards as well as one of their Mixed Boards. Everything was fresh and tasty, with great variety, and was presented so nicely. Children and adults alike enjoyed the Boards. Dan worked with us on site today and made the experience so pleasant. He spent a great deal of time thoroughly explaining each wine in the flights, including how the weather impacted each varietal, which we all enjoyed learning about. He was very attentive and was extremely friendly & patient. Ultimately, when our reservation time was over, we were disappointed to have to leave, as we all enjoyed the food, drink, service, and ambiance. We are certainly looking forward to returning!

Yelp
Went to north fork not realizing the bigger places required a reservation ... found this place instead and couldn't have been happier... not only was the wine and sparkling wine great but also the cheese plates were delicious and beautiful...

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. Gorgeous grounds, great wine & the meat & cheese boards are to die for. I can spend all day here.

Yelp
Mattebella vineyard has plenty of outdoor areas for seating. There is an indoor tasting cottage in the bad weather. I have been there before and I am a fan of their wines. You will get an education while you are tasting, which I also enjoy. It's a very relaxed environment. Just picture sitting outside watching and listening to a fountain overlooking the vineyards! They also have very relaxed patio setting outdoors for spring/summer weather as well. Generous pours of very good wine in nice stemless wine glasses, paired with small "bites" such as fig jam over aged cheese on crustini. Although we shared a "Red flight", they prepared a plate for both of us. Nice touch. It was a tough choice, we walked away with a few bottles each. I would definitely recommend the 2009 Chardonnay and the 2007 & 2010 Old World Blends are a sure bet! We all had a wonderful time, would consider revisiting Mattebella the next time we visit wine country. It is little pricey compare to other vineyards in Southold area but Mattebella is definitely worth a visit!!

Kendra H.

Yelp
So my best friend made a reservation here for an 11am walking tour. We were running a bit late and decided to call the vineyard to let them know and to our surprise no answer. We arrive about 8 minutes later and get to the entrance. There was a couple in front of us who waited a good 5 minutes before they were seated. However the man who greeted them didn't even acknowledge us as we stood behind them. We waited and waited and waited for him and come back and guess what? He never did! We saw this man walking around then serving drinks to other patrons. We even tried to call again while waiting to let someone know we were there and again no freaking answer! So we ended up just leaving entirely and went to another vineyard. Terrible customer service and terrible setup. I will never ever come back to this place ever again! Whoever is running this place should be ashamed.

Yelp
Last week I visited several vineyards , this one was so lovely. There is no indoor area for you to wine taste just a beautiful outdoor seating area, surrounded by flowers . This time we didn't do flights we just got a refreshing drink and relaxed for a bit . I ordered a watermelon cucumber Chardonnay drink and my friends got the lemon twist . Both were delicious and served in a mason jar . We had a great time.
google avatar

Jessica B.

Yelp
We stopped at Mattebella when we were out in the area the other day, and wanted to try a winery that we have not been to. Upon arriving, we had to wait a few short minutes to get seated. We were seated on a spacious couch in a corner, which was perfect. This winery was different from others I have been to, much more of a garden feel, surrounded by grasses and flowers growing everywhere around you. As beautiful as the surroundings were, they also brought unwanted guests with them-there were a lot of bees flying around and they were of course attracted to the scent of the wine all around. That would be one of my complaints because this could make the experience unpleasant. I also was a bit shocked at the prices of the flight samplers here...way, way higher than any other winery that we have been to. A cute spot, but not for me. Probably wouldn't be back, but it may appeal to others!
google avatar

Roy B.

Yelp
We have been to Mattebella Vinyards several times and each of our visits was as different than the last. On our most recent visit, we were on a family vacation and the adults got a chance to get away for a few hours and explore a little and get in a little down-time. When we entered, a nice young man directed us to a nice and shady spot off to one side and offered us some menus. While we were perusing those, he brought some water and asked if we had any questions. We ordered some crostini to satisfy an appetite and then ordered a few more. Paired that up with a bottle of wine and we were able to unwind, relax and take in our surroundings. It's hard to gauge how many people can sit because the vineyard is set up in vignettes- as many as a couple or a dozen people can all sit in shady areas, separated by natural borders of trees, flowers and bushes. Larger gazebos will sit larger groups and there are so many places sitting around corners they may be able to seat 100 people, but surely a few dozen for sure. One of our favorite stops and I'm sure we will be back sooner rather than later.

Yelp
Decided to try one of the smaller lesser known places. In hindsight I guess I should have stuck to the well known. Parking was difficult and because there were 8 cars there it was considered full but the man who was in charge of the parking decided to be nice and move his chair so that we could take the last spot. Big of him. So we wondered around a little looking for the tasting room and finally sat down at an outside table. A waitress came over with a menu. 2 flights, white or red. we chose the white, the red seemed not to have many wines to taste. We wanted something to eat as well and the menu of snack type food looked interesting but when the waitress came and we tried to order, she informed us that they were out of our first and second choices. she was also not very helpful when we inquired about the wines. She just didn't know much about the product. All in all the grounds were pretty, the wines were nothing special and the waitress sucked. Pass this one.
google avatar

Local G.

Yelp
This was quite possibly the worst winery I've ever encountered. The bathrooms were glorified porta potties, the seating was miss matched furniture and the wine tasted like Trader Joe's two buck chuck that has been sitting on your counter for a week. And to add insult to abused taste buds - it was the most expensive tasting we encountered all day!
google avatar

Elsie W.

Yelp
Awesome outdoor seating area overlooking pretty vineyard and flowers, comfy chairs, chill music, breeze running through your hair, sangria at your fingertips... THAT SANGRIA. It's what they're known for. It's unique and not what you think. It's made with triple sec! They also do wine flights. Their own wine are amazing.
google avatar

Milo C.

Yelp
Great vineyard. Amazing customer service. The server did a great job explaining the different wines. They had a lot of wines to sample, and the outdoor seating was really divine. I would definitely recommend coming here with some friends. They were able to seat us right away, and were prompt with serving wine. I really liked the reserve collection that they had.

Yelp
I celebrated my birthday on Halloween with a few friends. We loved the experience. We were seated around a firepit. The property is beautiful. Christine gave us history lesson on the wines from our tasting. Her son a college student was out server who was very friendly. They arranged for food from a local eatery to be served. It was a beautiful day but once the sun went down it got really cold. I would love to go in the summer time.

Yelp
We have been coming here for years. It is a small family Vineyard that does not take busses. It presents a low key ,resort type atmosphere. The wines are excellant. (I'm told as I do not drink). The cheese and meat boards are great as well. All in all a great place to spend and afternoon, without the hustle and bustle in many of the larger vineyards.

Yelp
Love the wine flights here! Super knowledgeable staff too - they answered all of our questions about the selections and were really friendly. Beautiful location also. Looking forward to visiting again!

Yelp
Had such a great experience visiting the vineyard this past week. Our server, Chris, was really helpful and accommodating. I liked the rose flight and the atmosphere of the vineyard. It was very relaxing and low key. We were able to take beautiful photos while enjoying our drinks! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I. Absolutely. Loved. It. Here. :) Firstly & most importantly, the summer sangria is easily the most delicious sangria I've ever had in my life, and I love sangria and drink it very often. It's strong, but literally delicious & fruity (but not too fruity) & refreshing. The staff was amazing. Our waitress was an awesome rockstar. The olive plate was delicious. The crostinis were unique, crunchy & totally tasty. My favorites were the carmelized onion, fig & prosciutto, peach & manchego. The venue is beautiful. There's tons of tables, lovely little cabanas & lots of umbrellas. The property is huge and open. My one and only complaint is the fact that bathrooms are porter pottys, but they did a good job of making sure the stall wasn't horrendous (candle & flowers & soap in the ladies stall). But, I liked this place so much that a porter potty can't even deduct stars from my rating. :)

Yelp
My girlfriends and I had an awesome time at Mattebella. Christine is super informed and really nice. They let us bring outside food in -- which is not usually allowed -- and gave us free, amazing fig jam to accompany our biscotti. It was a perfect combination. We loved their Old World and Famiglia wines. I'd say this spot had some of the better reds we had on the whole North Fork. (We didn't try any of their whites.) We loved their backyard, chilled out aesthetic. We definitely recommend stopping by!
