For a backpackers lodge, it's really not bad. We were looking for the cheapest, vacant accommodation on the day-of that still had a private bedroom and bathroom, and this was it. While I want to say it's no frills, the rooms still actually had some of the hotel-like basics like an AC heatpump, bathroom heater, a little TV, very tiny fridge, and 1GB free WiFi with voucher code on arrival. Otherwise, it's a backpackers lodge without being a hostel, so there's an old communal kitchen, dining spaces indoors and out, and coin washing machine and dryers. If you're trying to save money, this place is good enough to have a night in. The bathrooms are interesting as it's all one floor of shower to toilet and sink, but it's angled so the water stays in with the curtain. The lady at the counter was soft spoken but helpful in getting replacement remotes for the AC. It's surprisingly not too noisy either if your windows are closed and facing more inwards than roadside.
