Matthew's beachside restaurant

Had the calamari, lasagna and chicken Parmesan. Looks much better than it was. Calamari was greasy but rubbery. Chicken had good flavor but was over cooked and dry. Lasagna was good. Not great and not bad. Service and Oceanside dining was great!

We had an incredible evening. The food was exceptional, and our server, Nancy, was incredibly friendly and attentive. The view was breathtaking, and the live music added to the overall wonderful experience. .

If all you're looking for is a great view, this is your place. If you're wanting a great dinner, keep walking. 1. Our server seemed very uninterested in taking our order and/or providing any details about any of the items on the menu. 2. Appetizer: We ordered the Tuna Tataki and it was not sushi grade tuna. Weird color and tough to cut. We sent it back without issue. 3. The 8 oz. filet arrived and was impossible to cut as well - very tough. The seabass was more like a tilapia, and that's because when we talked the the manager, she said it was an Asian seabass (but the menu doesn't specify that). Unfortunately, we did politely tell the mgr that this meal wasn't up to our expectations. She handled it very well, and was understanding and took back the other two dishes and comped our drinks (even though we offered to pay for them). We called over our server and gave her a $10 tip for her time and left. 4. The drinks were the star of the show: cucumber martini and a Caipirinha. The bartenders pour strong drinks!!! Our friends had eaten lunch there a day earlier and raved about this place, so maybe lunch is the way to go.

Tuna steak was exceptional! Got the calamari and the crab cakes as well. We had a very nice table directly on the beach! :) Our server was a bit impatient, I was asking for modifications and she wasn’t really welcoming…

Nice beach side restaurant. Pretty decent menu with meat and fish options. Higher prices but the quality was good overall. Friendly staff and very accommodating for larger groups. Recommend calling for a reservation just in case.

Horrible service, mid food don’t recommend. Took over 30 mins just to bring me a lemonade. Had to ask over 3 different waiters several times about the lemonade. Meanwhile a few tables over they were more concerned about their media and switching out their food and drinks many times while taking professional photos/video… as I’m still waiting forever for a simple soft drink. I tip based off service, this service was horrible. Then they added automatic $5 service charge.. so not right at all for terrible service. Food was eh. Also saw older people get their food and drinks asap after ordering… possibly didn’t even care about us because we’re younger? Whatever young people tip good too, we would’ve if we were better taken care of. They got our $5 “service charge” anyways..

Ocean view and great food, what more can you ask for. A nice change of pace from the other restaurants at the ABC/Casa Del Mar resorts as dinner menu is a little more upscale.

Went here several years ago and we’re not impressed at all but given recent reviews decided to return again. Glad we did. Place had been remodeled since our last visit and was very nice. Outdoor and indoor seating. Tables well spaced. Excellent service and good food. We ordered the three course early bird special that was offered all evening during month and was very good. I had the steak option with a Caesar salad. My sister the cordon blue with calamari appetizer and we both enjoyed our meals. Desert was cheese cake which was not as tasty and sort of freezer burned taste. But good price and overall great meal.
