Matthew's beachside restaurant

Went here several years ago and we’re not impressed at all but given recent reviews decided to return again. Glad we did. Place had been remodeled since our last visit and was very nice. Outdoor and indoor seating. Tables well spaced. Excellent service and good food. We ordered the three course early bird special that was offered all evening during month and was very good. I had the steak option with a Caesar salad. My sister the cordon blue with calamari appetizer and we both enjoyed our meals. Desert was cheese cake which was not as tasty and sort of freezer burned taste. But good price and overall great meal.

They made my daughter's birthday very special. My 10 year old daughter was having a rib eating contest with a family friend and the staff played along with prizes and ceremony for her win. The staff is awesome,the food is awesome. We have been owners for awhile and we know we made a good choice by buying here!

*edit* We've been several times. It is out favourite restaurant in the area. We really liked this restaurant. Perfect views, it is literally oceanside. A simple menu but tasty dishes. More gluten-free options than most places in the area. We had the beef teriyaki bowl - it was excellent, and the pizza (not GF). The pizza left a little to be desired, the crust fell apart and was undercooked. But the sauce, cheese and chicken were very good. The staff is friendly and efficient.

We had this place recommended to us, so we tried it out. I'm not sure what was off, but nothing was really hitting the spot for any of us. It was all just fine. I liked the coffee. They did swap out the eggs for me since I didn't like the original ones they brought out, which I appreciated. While I went to the restroom, the birds helped themselves to my eggs and pecked holes in the jelly packet. Overall, it's a pretty view with good coffee and plenty of birds. We also had an extra $5 added on to the bill. It seemed to be because we were visiting from another resort, but I'm not sure.

Best restaurant I’ve tried here so far. The service was amazing and the food was fresh and delicious. if you’re looking for dessert and love chocolate their chocolate cake with the melted middle is amazing. Definitely visiting again! Great restaurant.

Amazing Valentine's date night. Food was delicious. Tuna Tataki is to die for. Seared grouper and octopus were also amazing.

Great place. We ended up eating here twice on our trip. Food was fantastic. The portion sizes were a little small, except my daughter's pizza. Italian night was great. The lobstertail pasta was delicious just could have used a little more. Happy hour drinks were well worth it. The view and atmosphere was great too. They also offer a kids menu. Highly recommend checking it out.
