I've been to this restaurant for many years and always had a good experience. Tonight, from the moment we walked in the door, the waitress Dee gave us massive attitude.
We were a party of six and she said there was no room even though there were three large tables at the front. We asked her if we could sit by the door and she huffed and puffed like we were wasting her time.
After WE moved a table around to make room, we asked her if she could turn the AC off and she yelled 'absolutely not' to my friend and immediately walked away. We were Gobsmacked. If you're going to say no, at least say it nicely!!
We ordered our food and it came after about 40 minutes of waiting. When it came to paying, we asked for the bill and we wrote it out, split it so we could pay. She came over and we asked to pay and she looked at us disgusted and said 'I am not splitting the bill, that's not happening.' In those very words and in a tone that you would talk to a disobedient child in!
She said we should have told her at the beginning of the meal. I proceeded to tell her that she never asked us. She responded with a large portion of attitude and I have to tell you I am completely in shock by her utter rudeness. Dee then told us that her boss would 'agree' with her and that no one splits the bill anymore, which is complete rubbish. I've met her boss several times and I'm sure as a business woman, she would do whatever it takes to make it work. It's not like we asked her to split it 100 ways! Even if it was, she should learn to offer an alternative and treat people with respect. We spent nearly $200 in there and if she had offered some decent service, she would have received a decent tip.
I will never go back there and I will not recommend anyone to go there. She should be re-trained. So disappointed.
