We are in our fifties and were in Lewes for a long weekend. We had heard great things about this place and were not disappointed! We went on a Sunday around 3:30 for Happy Hour and ordered a couple beers, a few raw oysters (presentation was amazing), the happy hour burger, the smoked mac and cheese and the deviled eggs with crab. Service was friendly and fast, everything was excellent, including Chris the bartender, the oyster guy, the beer, and the atmosphere. Cozy, clean, and calm enough that we could easily talk at the bar. Well done, we will be back!

Seafood spectacular! Started with crab dip, a cheesy bubbling delight, my wife had the fried oysters and I went with lump crab cakes, and we shared a gouda mac n cheese. More food than we could eat but all fresh and delicious, no complaints. ervice was also excellant and friendly, will be back.

We come here always for the holidays as a big group of at least 8 or 12 and the service food and menu options are all amazing! My son loves the raw oysters and the sticky icky wings. I love the clam chowder and the fresh fish options like the salmon or the catfish. And the food is always fresh and consistent reasonably priced and perfectly cooked. 👍💯

We stopped in for lunch. There was a 15-20 minute wait for two at around 12:30 so we decided to sit at the bar on comfortable backed bar stools. Restaurant is bright and cheery with retro like furnishings in primary colors. Ordered a draft Dewey Beer that was delicious, fruity and thirst quenching on a hot day. My husband and I shared a crab cheese dip with toasted baguette…served hot be careful, wow it was good. My husband had a double smashed burger with shoestring fries that he said was very good. I had a grilled cheese and crab on sourdough with fries and good pickled carrot and squash coins. The fries were good but when we spotted another diners onion rings we were a bit envious! The restaurant was very busy but all the the servers and bar tenders were hustling, they know their jobs well.

Excellent food, drinks & atmosphere. I had the lobster Cobb salad & it was amazing. My friend had fried chicken & New England clam chowder & both items were delicious. Kathy, our server & bartender was fantastic. She was very patient & answered all of my friend’s never ending questions. Five stars in my book 👏👍

My wife and I love this spot. The hustle and bustle and cozy feel makes you feel right at home. The food though…gotta get crabby fries but this time it was the special: clam dip which was 100/10. Wow. But can’t go wrong with adult or kids fish and chips either. A must if looking for a good meal.

Superior to the Bethany location in every way! I would never go back to the cramped Bethany location, which is uncomfortably small and tight inside, has very little parking, and serves TINY oysters for happy hour, which is only from 3-5 pm there. The Lewes location that I am currently at is bigger, has more parking, and serves full-sized oysters for happy hour. Plus, happy hour lasts an hour longer here, from 3-6 pm. I definitely recommend the oysters here, as well as the calamari.

We were lucky to find Matt’s. Headed out of Rehoboth looking for seafood and this was on our way. What a great dinner experience. Everyone we dealt with was very warm and friendly, atmosphere was casual, food was excellent. The fish and chips cooked with a very large filet. Everyone in our group really enjoyed their meal; salmon, lobster roll, clam strips, calamari - all excellent. Don’t sleep on Matt’s, it’s easy to overlook from the road, but worth the stop!
