"Mau Shi, Innere Stadt. A rare Thai food delight. This family run spot makes you feel like you are over at someone's house for dinner, rather than being out at a restaurant. A very cozy place."

Wonderful food and friendly staff!

The place has a nice atmosphere and is relatively cosy etc, however the food is nothing special. There are better options in Graz if you want authentic Asian food with the typical flavours, spices and sauces. I found Mau Shi to be very limited in this respect. Our waiter was friendly, though.

Indonesian food, not bad but not very close to the one I had in Bali. And what is an Indonesian menu without Nasi Goreng? I ate there on a Sunday, outside, and the seats made with pallet were very uncomfortable. But the worse thing was the service!!! It took a geological era for four small vegetable dumplings and another era passed before I could have a plate of noodles with vegetables. And the place was almost empty! But the best came when the waiter literally disappeared and after another era waiting for him to show up and let me pay the bill I had to go knock at the kitchen door and ask to pay!! I could have easily gone away without paying and was really on the point to do it because I found it really impolite and not professional. But at the end my honesty prevailed. I've seen many other interesting Asian restaurant in town and I would not suggest this at all.

The Mau Shi is a great Asian fusion restaurant in the heart of Graz, located in one of the many old town passages. The staff is very friendly and the seating is comfortable especially when you happen to catch one of the sofas/couches to sit in. The dishes are very delicious. We had the Chilli Chicken with rice, Gefüllte Teigtaschen (filled buns) with Rotkraut (red kraut, red cabbage), Thai Gebratene Nudeln mit Huhn (Fried Noodles with Chicken), which you also can have with vegetables instead of chicken. We were pleased with our dishes. The ambience and atmosphere of the Mau Shi is nice and convenient for good talks and has this vintage touch, since you get your coffee in granny’s china for instance. The prices are mid-range but you get high quality for your money in a nice ambience in the heart of Graz‘ old town. With Love! Dr. Dr. Immanuel Fruhmann

The first asia restaurant in Graz who cured my home sick with their food. Gado-gado, Opor Ayam. This is surely an authentic Asia/Indonesian restaurant, so I gave 5 stars for the food, drinks, service & ambient. Seat was comfortable either inside or outside; they have bolster, cushion too there. Too bad it's closed now, since I'm dying to go there again.
