Beautiful old patisserie with its own flair. Don't expect a Starbucks. Just visit when you are open to such places. You won't find the smiling cat from Alice in Wonderland here.

Wonderful food, friendly staff and incredible ambiance! This Pastisseria has been around for 90 years! Go and visit!

"I'm from Chile and stopped by El Mauri during my visit to Barcelona. I had a coffee with something sweet, and it was a lovely experience. The place is cozy, the service was friendly, and the quality excellent. Perfect spot for a peaceful break during the day

This morning I approached the cashier to pay and in the process she snatched the card, which everyone receives and has the total, and threw it on the counter. I told her it was not ok for her to snatch the card out of my hands and she said that there was nothing wrong with that. This cashier is always there and she is racist. There are better bakeries in Barcelona. If you’re brown, stay away.

Visited Mauri Coffee in Barcelona, but unfortunately I didn’t enjoy the coffee. The flavour wasn’t as expected and felt a bit disappointing. The place itself is nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the coffee just didn’t match my taste. Hopefully it improves in the future.

The food and ambience is so good..we went there after our visit at Canal mila and we were super hungry. I had my meal of the day. Super tasty and sweets there are awesome and variety of sweets available which will tempt your taste buds to try everything

Very nice ambiance. Love old style cake shop like this. The workers was was nice except one guy.... The older skinny one just absolutely rude to the bone. I really wish they kick him out.
