A perfect location close to the beautiful and picturesque Old Town of Münster. I paid extra for the room overlooking a quiet valley, but instead got a room across from the loud elevator, on the 1st floor, overlooking a bunch of loud marihuana smokers - opening the window was not an option and the air conditioning was very loud and very cold- it kept going back to default settings despite changing the temperature manually. The room itself was quite spacious, modern and clean. The huge bed turned out to be two smaller beds put next to each other with no mattress connector, so not a very comfortable option. The breakfast was very basic, but of good quality. The rules for live cooking are not quite clear and could be communicated better. One tip for those travelling with car would be to download EasyPark app in advance, as the mobile data internet connection in the city was extremely slow- and you will need to pay for the parking on the opposite side of the street, as the spots in front of hotel are reserved for packing and unpacking only. Oh, and keep in mind there are some stairs between the reception and the elevator - 3 male members of the staff watched me struggle with a huge suitcase but none of them offered help. Also- if you travel with a pet (there is a nice park just outside the hotel), you will be greeted with a dog bed and some snacks- in our case the bed was worn out and used and the snacks “best before” date expired 8 months ago… You may want to double check before you feed your Pooh. The hotel uses regular room keys instead of cards so you have to choose between going out with quite bulky key, with name of the hotel and room number written on it or leave it at the recepcion and then wait long minutes before someone hands it back to you. One thing I loved the most was the shower gel scent- I would buy it and take back home if there was such option. To summarise: 260 euro for a night for such experience is a ripoff and I don’t think I’d stay there again.
