As an art centre that is supposed to support local artists, I couldn’t really feel that intention from the way the artworks were displayed and sold.
I understand that there’s a limit to the space available, but the sales section looked quite cluttered, and it was hard to tell which pieces belonged to which artist.
Some framed artworks were placed directly on the floor, and a few artists’ works were crowded together in the same small box, which made the display feel disorganized and somewhat careless.
It felt like there was a lack of respect or consideration toward the artists, which was disappointing.
