Absolutely loved my stay here. This is by far one of the nicest and luxurious hostels I’ve stayed at in Europe out of over 30 hostels I’ve experienced. I stayed in the women’s only dorm which was perfect. Such nice dorm rooms and everything you could possibly need for a dorm. So much privacy and super comfortable atmosphere. Staff was super friendly and helpful aswell. I would HIGHLY recommend to stay here while in Budapest and the location is absolutely ideal. The bathrooms and showers are perfect loved how it’s separate from the women’s only dorm and there’s so much space and mirrors. Truly the best / most spacious for hostels I’ve seen in all of Europe. My stay was 100/10 and I was genuinely sad to leave. |The rooms had such a cool and awesome layout I wish more hostels in Europe were like this one. I can’t believe the price for the quality compared to others its actually such a good deal. Highly highly recommend and suggest staying here.

A lovely hotel/hostel for young adults. Our room was lovely and very clean. The Receptionist was so lovely and friendly. The stairs and hallways are a little bit utilitarian. The Reception area was nice and welcoming. Such a good central area of the city. As an English person I missed the tea making facilities you get in the UK. If you want total privacy make sure your room has an en suite bathroom as not all of them do. Lots of dormitories for those who like that budget friendly option.

I had a great stay at Maverick Hostel Budapest. The hostel is very well located, clean, and well organized, with comfortable rooms and common areas. The atmosphere is welcoming and calm, making it a great place both for solo travelers and groups. I would especially like to highlight Hanny, who provided outstanding service. She was extremely friendly, helpful, and attentive, saved My trip 😅 her kindness and professionalism truly made a difference in our experience. I would definitely recommend Maverick Hostel Budapest and would happily stay here again!

A really great hostel with lots of space and a relaxed, non-crowded feeling. Comfortable rooms, very good beds with sockets next to them, large lockers (even for a suitcase) and spacious bathrooms. The common areas are a big plus. The staff deserves special mention - super helpful, friendly and patient. Ksenia in particular was outstanding and helped me enormously, even assisting with packing and sending a package after my stay. That level of care really says a lot. Would definitely stay here again.

The hostel is very cozy, clean, and right in the heart of the city centre — everything is walkable, from sightseeing spots to cafés, bars, and public transport. Perfect base to explore the city without any hassle. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, making it easy to meet people or just chill after a long day of exploring. Big special thanks to YAS — absolute star! 🌟 Yas is incredibly helpful, warm, and welcoming. From local tips to directions, food spots, and just making sure everyone feels comfortable, Yas genuinely goes out of the way to help. It honestly felt like having a local friend at the hostel. Overall 8/10 & would come back! I stayed in a female 8 bed dorm. Pros: - Felt VERY safe as a female solo traveler - Clean beds / clean enough bathroom - Free towels upon request (bring ur own bathroom shoes and padlock tho) - Reception staff was super nice and helpful - My bed was like a comfy cocoon (aka 360° curtains, private, comfortable, decently large) - My locker in the room could fit my small suitcase, large backpack and more items - Luggage room so u can leave ur stuff while u explore after check out! - Location was super convenient to restaurants and transport - they arranged a shuttle to the airport for me for just 20 USD Cons: - People were slamming doors and talking loudly at 4 am (I’d suggest reminding guests about respectfulness/ noise late night generally..) - It was insanely hot in our room to the point where I was sweating all night - Mans voice in the room at 9 am (would suggest giving a warning as women can be changing) (happened 2 days in a row) - I think it was someone from the front desk checking on things or something - Wifi was in and out but I could stream movies on my laptop so not too bad ! - Bathroom floors got pretty gross and didn’t seem to get cleaned while I was there for 3 days Pros outweighed the cons for sure though / great value for ur money⭐️

I really loved this hostel! It has a great location, and the staff are always kind and eager to help. I'd like to highlight the work of the Argentinian receptionist, Yas, who gave great tips, like using an app called "Citivavis" to book free tours, and even helped me book a spot at an amazing boat party. I stayed in a female room, and to be honest, knowing that there are places that offer this possibility is great for female solo travelers. Breakfast is usually not included, but it's worth paying for it since it's quite great and offers a variety of food!

Stayed here with a 20-people group. Everything was above standards for this kind of accommodation. The hostel is very well located. The rooms were well maintained. Double room was very big and comfortable. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast was very rich and diverse, special point to the fresh juices 😋
