My family was looking for some excitement on our trip to Las Vegas and Maverick Helicopters was recommended. We were so happy that we made the decision to take the helicopter trip. We did the trip to the Grand Canyon with a landing in the canyon. It was expensive but it was so worth it. My kids are 9 and 6 and they loved every minute. The youngest doesn't like roller coasters or drops but she wasn't scare by anything. You land twice so we all got a chance to ride in the front and the back. Our pilot did a great job with everything. He was very informative if you had questions but also let you enjoy the flight. The views are stunning and it was cool to get a chance to spend a little time in the Grand Canyon. We will have to go back to the canyon because my kids loved exploring. It was cool to see the Hoover Dam and Lake Powell.

A great experience, where I took both the Hoover Dam/Grand Canyon flight, and the night flight over the strip. The Hoover Dam flight was fantastic, the female pilot was friendly and knowledgeable about the sights. A great experience overall. Especially for the duration of the flight, it was expensive, but felt like great value for money. The night flight, was also great, but felt a little short, at just over 10 minutes. The views were great, but being on the right side of the helicopter on the counter-clockwise flight path, I didn't get a great view of the majority of the strip. Otherwise, this would have been a 5⭐️ review

A MUST DO! I think everyone should experience this and see the Grand Canyon from a Birds Eye view! It was amazing. We went over the Hoover Dam then landed in the Grand Canyon, took pictures and walked around with champagne! We did the windchaser Sunset flight and coming back was incredible. Bruce was a great captain and it wasn’t scary at all. Very smooth ride. I just can’t get over how amazing this was and hope more people experience one of the wonders of the world!

Truly an amazing experience!! Our Pilot Coya was fantastic! We did the Grand Canyon tour. There was a fly over of Vegas and the strip, Lake Mead, The Hoover Damn, Grand Canyon and landed for some snacks and sight seeing. We were paired with a group of 4. Everyone rotated to sit in the front seats and had a wonderful flight! Highly recommend!!!

We did the Grand Canyon tour from Vegas today, and it was probably the coolest activity I’ve done in my life. The ride was about 30 minutes each way and you’ll see the strip, the Hoover Dam, and the Grand Canyon while you’re in the air. The staff were all amazing and professional. It was my first helicopter ride, but I felt safe. Our pilot did an excellent job at keeping our ride smooth while providing us with fun facts along the way. We landed on a bluff towards the bottom of the canyon and spent a solid 30-40 minutes for snacks, drinks, and photos. The pilot had us rotating seats with other guests so that everyone had an opportunity to sit near a window. After a short flight back, we were conveniently transported back to our hotel. I’ve seen the Grand Canyon on a bus tour before, but this experience was almost indescribable. It’s pricey, but just do it - you won’t regret it.

From start to finish this was an amazing experience. Picked us up from the hotel, checked us in and then we were off! The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. Buck was our pilot and was awesome and Erica from the office came with us since we had space, and she was so friendly, we loved having her! Can’t say enough good things about this experience. Beautiful views, fabulous experience - would do it again in a heartbeat. If I had to choose one thing to say could have been better, it would be the timing to come back in over the strip when it’s a bit darker to see the lights. We paid more to have that experience, and it was still sunset. Highly recommend!

Our group of 6 did the Grand Canyon sunset tour and it was worth every penny. The entire experience felt polished and professional, especially our pilot Jordan. He made everyone felt safe and completely at ease. Highly recommended!

What a exciting experience. This place was great. Easy to book, and just smoothly operated. Pilot was friendly but not chatty. The view of Vegas from a helicopter is stunning. The only downside was how fast it goes. Will do again

I took the 7 PM ride with Maverick Helicopters over Las Vegas, and it was an incredible experience. The city lights were absolutely amazing, and seeing the Strip from above at night was breathtaking. I cannot give a zero, so have to give them a one which they do not deserve. We took this same tour last year and decided to try again this year. BIG MISTAKE! We were supposed to come to Vegas back in November but unfortunately I had to have a toe amputated so I had to cancel. Thank goodness I recovered enough to reschedule Vegas for Christmas! The helicopter tour was one of the things I was really looking forward to and it turned out to be a horrible experience. First of all, Maverick only cares about your money and it is apparent. I must have been told over 5 times tonight "you are not getting a refund" after I refused to get on the helicopter. More about that later. They also can be insulting. When my wife stepped on the scale the manager got out of her seat in the back and came up to check/verify the weight. That is totally insulting. For some unknown reason Maverick likes to keep seating super secret. The desk will not tell you and the pilot will not tell you. We specifically requested front seats and told them we would wait until that could be accomplished. Of course they are too lazy to do that and just said to talk to the pilot. We did talk to the pilot, and again, super secret and would only discuss it outside. We went out and he did his thing and then, without me hearing it asked who wanted to sit up front. This is after we specifically asked and after he saw my go pro. We had two groups on this flight, my wife and I, and a four person group. Logic, which this egotistical jerk of a pilot lacked, would say two in the front, four in the back. No no no, he split up the 4 person group and stuck us in the back with one of their members. I know Maverick will come on with their standard BS reply about weight and balance, thing is the three in front would have weighed about what we did, he did it because he wanted the cute girl up front. The funny thing is my wife and I were seated up front by the staff for weight and balance and he changed it around, so please Maverick save your BS reply that is why were seated the way we were. It had NOTHING to do with weight and balance. The reason I say this is four adults were up front, and three in the back. When I left, it was four adults to two, it was 250 pounds lighter and he changed nothing, so the weight and balance excuse was BS. I refused to board and all the pilot kept saying is "you won't get a refund." I think he said it three times. When I went back in, one person was very nice, but the supposed manager came up and said "you are not getting a refund" and when I said I don't care, her response was "that's good." AWESOME "customer service," Maverick. Joke is on Maverick as we had seriously considering a Grand Canyon trip, on top of spending $200 after the flight. We have already talked our friends out of taking the flight, so pilot douchebag has cost you a lot more money. Please don't waste your time replying with your standard BS reply, Maverick. I plan to post this review EVERYWHERE and hope it loses you business.

I'm leaving this review on Thanksgiving, while co-incidentally watching Planes, Trains and Automobiles. I only mention that fact because I was in a similar position ( to the characters in the movie ) recently, and Maverick Helicopters really came through. I never considered for one moment that the weather on Catalina would be so bad that all boat service would be cancelled. After a while of trying to find other ways out, I discovered Maverick. The real surprise is how easy they made it. I'm used to ridiculous levels of paperwork and bureaucracy so I was in disbelief that booking with Maverick was so simple. I kept waiting for the catch where something else goes wrong but no, it was textbook simple and I thank Maverick management for that. We showed up a couple of hours early and to my surprise, our booking agent Grant was able to accommodate us for an even sooner trip out. We appreciated Grant showing us the different helicopters, talking briefly about their history and the company's use of them. The flight was only 15 minutes back to Long Beach as opposed to the 90 minute ( unavailable ) boat ride, so I'll probably book with Maverick again. Typically I park in Dana Point where Maverick service isn't available but I might risk the 405 just to get to them. ( But seriously Maverick, if you ever wanted to open an office in Dana Point or even Oceanside, I'm all with it. )

We went at night for helicopter ride. They give you welcome alcohol drink. I did not drink it since I don't usually drink but that was nice gesture. When we got inside the helicopter, it was so beautiful with all the lights with high buildings. An nice city view~ it did feel bit tight to get in. We rode it in the front next to pilot and older couple on the back seat. Once ride was over, pilot escorted me out. We did enjoy our ride since my husband was in middle of training to be pilot. Once we got off the helicopter at front of gift shop there was our photo we took before we got in the ride.. Idk if they trash it if ppl don't buy it. Didn't love the photo enough but we bought it for the memory lol. :D Overall it was an great experience.

If you're feeling daring or adventurous... try out the maverick helicopters. I think a perfect time would be close to sunset but we went when it was dark at 7pm since it's winter time. So we got to see all the city lights of Las Vegas. Tip is to come in 30mins prior to your scheduled time to check in. Our pilot was amazing! (Sorry forgot his name) but he made sure each party was there (aka you're grouped with others) & then a brief explanation before we stepped outside. Once outside he gave us further explanation before we got in the Helicopter. Please listen to what the pilot says and directs you especially with how to get in and out of the helicopter. I was given this opportunity to ride the helicopter thanks to my friend's mom! She booked the flight and we asked the pilot how does seating work. Luckily there were two seats available, one up front and another in the back. So I took the front right next to the pilot. Even if the flight was short it was breathtaking! Filled with adrenaline just being up in the air & just seeing the city scape from above. Pilot was amazing with his skills because it was smooth! My friends mom gets motion sickness and she didn't feel nauseous at all once we landed. Also, before the flight they would take a professional shot next to the helicopter. (Totally forgot to purchase it!) It's okay though because after the flight we got to take pictures with the helicopter and the pilot! This was such a memorable trip for me and a spontaneous one indeed.

This was the best thing we have done on our two night weekend. To see the strip and the tallest tower is amazing. It was my first time and I was scared but our pilot Curt was amazingly entertaining. We had cool music on the headsets and he was very informative. We did it at nighttime. The weighing scale was right on the reception aisle. Waiting area was spacious with TV. Very organized. We booked the Wind Dancer tour of the Grand Canyon, on Saturday. It was the most amazing experience. Our pilot, David was excellent and did a great job with navigating our helicopter and giving us a beautiful tour. We loved the music that was incorporated with our flight. Landing in the Grand Canyon for snacks and champagne was the most memorable. I highly recommend this tour. It's exhilarating and yet peaceful at the same time. The best way to see the Grand Canyon in all its glory. The only negative was, when I checked in on Yelp, I was offered a $10 off coupon on a $50 purchase. So we decided to buy a few things that added up to over $50. When we went to check out, I showed the coupon. The staff looked at me as if they were seeing this coupon for the first time. We wasted a good 15 minutes because the staff had no clue how to give this discount and then just came up with an excuse that the coupon was expired. There was absolutely no expiration date on this offer. Don't post a coupon on your Yelp page if you have no intention of honoring it. Other than that the helicopter experience was flawless.

We did the Vegas Views tour (over the Vegas strip and downtown) and it was an extremely fun experience. It's very short (12 to 15 minutes) but a lot of fun. And it really was not scary at all. Seeing the lights of Vegas at night from above was spectacular. The ride itself was extremely smooth. It was like floating on air. I only wish the ride lasted longer. If it was an hour long, I wouldn't have complained at all. The check-in process is a breeze. Basically, you get weighed in at the front desk so watch how many Vegas buffets you enjoy before your flight. Then you wait. And wait. And wait. They ask you to check-in 45 minutes before your flight but other than getting weighed in, you'll be weigh-ting for a long time. That part was pretty boring. Our pilot was great but there's no narration during your flight. You listen to music and that's it. It's not a guided tour, just FYI. This is a terrific and unique experience. I'm normally afraid of heights and was nervous about going on a helicopter ride but the entire flight was peaceful and not scary at all. Highly recommended.

Such a cool experience! Aaron was our pilot and he was amazing. The views of Vegas and mountains were breathtaking. At first you wonder if it will be enough time to really enjoy the experience, but it was perfect. I would absolutely do this again.

Captain Adam did an amazing job taking us over the Mojave desert then to the Hoover Dam and finally a touchdown in the Grand Canyon. An amazing trip and an amazing guide.

This trip was worth every penny! We did the Grand Canyon Tour with a fly-over of the strip at sunset. We had a great day with very little wind, so it was smooth flying the whole time. We volunteered to be up front first, so had great views all the way to the canyon. I would highly recommend going up front first! (They rotate all 6 passengers so everyone gets a turn) And, on the way back, sit on the left side so you can see all of the strip. We were on the right side, so I got zero good pictures of the strip at sunset. We were picked up directly in front of our hotel and made a few stops to pick up others. However, once we arrived, the folks in our transport were not the ones in the helicopter with us. They divide everyone up by weight, and there were 6 helicopters taking off within minutes of each other heading to the canyon. The views of Lake Mead, Hoover Dam, and the Canyon were fantastic. The pilot was lovely, and the whole operation was run very well.

Booked a flight for my son in law and myself since he had not been on a helicopter before. Booking, check-in, waiting area, our pilot and helicopter ride were all great. We happened to go during day which was good for us, but I defineately think the night time experience would be more facinating. Overall, the price was good for the overall experience. The only think I wish was different would have been having the snack bar open.

This is the activity you will be talking about to all your friends . David Copperfield is amazing but this is the memory ! Super professional, scenic and safe. Don't hesitate . Our pilot Aaron was also a terrific tour guide. Book the tour with the Grand Canyon landing for the best experience !

I took my friend on the Wind Dancer tour of the Grand Canyon three weeks ago. We were amazed! The pilot (Kyle) was exceptional, friendly, and fun. Our Maverick experience was more than we imagined. I recommend this company as an outstanding tour service with the utmost in safety and customer service as their primary concerns. The very fact of the Grand Canyon was something that can't be surpassed. Spending time just a few hundred feet above the Colorado River, having just landed after a beautiful tour of the desert and landmarks between Las Vegas and the West Rim, was an experience we will remember forever. Thank you, Maverick!

Ok look. I don't like heights. This was not my idea. I just don't care about seeing nature. But I was given the ultimatum of: travel by donkey all day down to the bottom of the grand canyon OR ride in a helicopter over and land in the bottom of the grand canyon over the course of a few hours. We were only here for a week so I didn't want to waste a literal day at the boring grand canyon so I said screw it. I didn't like it but it was the better of two options. Everyone else seemed to have a blast. I did my best not to look down (feeling dizzy just thinking about it). At one point I did sit in front to take in the view. It was great. Flying over the strip was the part I enjoyed the most. It was also pretty cool to land and chill in the bottom of the grand canyon so that's an experience I can say I've had now. It was fine.

Booked the Las Vegas trip helicopter tour. Such a fantastic experience I highly recommend it. The pilot was awesome, made the experience that much better. We will definitely be booking future trips to other destinations soon.

For a person who is scared of heights I must say this was a one in a lifetime opportunity! I totally would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the Grand Canyon without spending the whole day doing so. They have a complimentary shuttle from your hotel to Maverick Headquarters. The staff is very friendly and they do their best to ensure you are comfortable! A+ ! The checking area is big with comfortable couch like seating and window view to the helicopters and jets taking off! They have a gift shop with snacks, souvenirs, and other cute things. You arrive they check you in and are provided a number to the group you will be flying in. The pilot comes out calls the number, walks you out to the helicopter, where he goes over safety rules. The majority of the flight the inform you of all of the ceramic monuments! The cool thing is you can only land at the bottom of the canyon in a helicopter. it's nearly impossible to get down there. I highly recommend not going hung over because the turbulence ( if there is any ) and altitude might get you sick. Thank you Maverick for this wonderful experience!

Although we didn't even want to go to Vegas, our family from HI & CA were going for the New Year, and we wanted to visit with them. They didn't have any plans other than to drink and dance. We, on the other hand, prefer to spend our money on experience. And boy, was this an experience! Since we didn't do anything for our 25-year anniversary, we decided to take a ride while we were in Vegas. We chose the Grand Canyon Tour - Wind Dancer Sunset route. While it was spendy, and we had to share the experience with five other people, it was absolutely worth it! We had door-to-door shuttle service from our hotel to the airstrip. We checked in, got weighed, were given a boarding number, and had a short wait. There was a gift shop, restrooms, and several sitting areas. I suggest using the restroom because you won't be able to for the next few hours. I think, five pilots walked into the lobby and called their numbers for us to gather around them. Three of them were in our flight/squadron, while the other two were on another route - either landing location or a shorter trip. We walked out to the helicopters, got our photos taken, got a brief rundown on safety, and entered. Three of us sat in the front with the pilot, and the other four were seated behind. We got the front row on the way out. It didn't take too much time before we were in the air. The ride was smooth and the scenery was beautiful. Our pilot Mike, was great with giving us information about what we were passing and the things to see or watch for. He also had a great playlist for the trip. 45 glorious minutes flying overhead until we landed in the Canyon. There, they served a beverage and some snacks while everyone just walked around taking in the view and taking photos. We could see a couple of other helicopters on the cliff above us. For the ride back, we had the two back seats on the passenger side. After a short ride, we stopped to refuel. This didn't take long so we chose to stay buckled in although we had the option to get out, and then we were off again. Unfortunately, the right side of the bird didn't have a great view of the strip. Request to sit behind the pilot on the ride back, if possible. We could still see a lot but the angle and obstacles (from inside) made for not-so-great photo/video opportunities if that's what you're after. Landing was smooth, but sadly, we were back too soon. Helicopters are our thing now. 10/10, we would definitely recommend! Thanks again, Mike, for a wonderful anniversary tour! PS...we know you ended up sharing your tip and we think the world of you!

Great experience, lots of fun. I enjoyed the sceneries, and the little landing for snacks. You can see and learn at lot about Las Vegas. Staff were nice and professional. Is an expensive attraction but one really worth trying. I'm not sure I'll do it again, but I'll recommend it to friends visiting LV.

We went on Maverick Helicopter's "Grand Canyon Wind Dancer Sunset Tour" and it was one of the best things I've done in Las Vegas. Our pilot, Shane was supper cool and an excellent pilot. He made sure we all felt safe and comfortable throughout the journey. The. Grand Canyon Wind Dancer Sunset Tour leaves from the Las Vegas Airport's Helicopter Terminal and takes you on a journey to one of the world's greatest natural wonders, The Grand Canyon. Soar over the iconic Hoover Dam while enjoying panoramic views of Lake Mead and the Mojave Desert. The ground drops away as you enter the majestic Grand Canyon and fly for over 10 miles through this geographic marvel. Gaze at the time-forged shapes and stunning coloration as the towering canyon walls surround you. Descend and land 3,500 feet below the rim on Hualapai Indian Territory and enjoy Champagne, beverages and light snacks some 300 feet above the mighty Colorado River. Our pilot, AJ was amazing. I don't know what made me want to take a helicopter to the base of the Grand Canyon, but it was a ONCE in a lifetime experience. It was quick, but relevant and breathtaking (literally). IF I were to ever do this again, I would definitely fly with Maverick.

Took a shuttle from Aria parking lot to Maverick, arrived at 8:11pm for an already pre booked/prepaid flight. Officially got called to head outside at 8:47PM so had to wait for about thirty minutes. By 8:56PM we were loaded into the helicopter and all buckled in, lifted off ground at 8:58PM. It was about 9:00PM when we were high enough and heading in the direction of the strip and by 9:09PM we landed. This would mean at most we were off the ground for 11 minutes, and if you're only factoring actually Las Vegas views (not take off or landing) you're only getting 8 minutes of views out when the websites say 12-15 minutes (even if the duration meant the total time it didn't come close). That means $139 for the Friday 9PM flight for the 8 minutes of views is about $17 a minute or nearly 0.30 a second -- even if you got the entire maximum 15 minutes (which we weren't even off the ground for 15 minutes) it would still come out to $9 a minute. I just didn't feel that this was worth the time invested on a Friday night in Las Vegas, nor worth the money. Also, any time someone made a noise or exhaled sharply the headset would stop the automated tour guide sound so I missed most of the explanations of what we were looking at.

Did the Vegas night tour over the Las Vegas strip and it was amazing!!! My first time in a helicopter and it definitely lived up to the hype. The views were great and I got to see the sphere up close. Seating is based on weight and luckily I was able to sit up front. I think it would've been a different experience if I had different seats or sat in the back so I'm glad everything worked out. Wish the flight was longer though since I would totally want to do this again. Our pilot was super nice, helped us take pics after, and overall it was a safe flight.

Everyone was so professional and polite and excited! It was a wonderful experience. David was our pilot and he was super friendly and confident. I highly recommend this only about 12 minutes in the sky, but it's worth every penny. It felt like Spider-Man the game.

Our Pilot Adam was wonderful! He made everyone feel safe and comfortable throughout the evening! The ride was amazing! My only complaint it that I wish it was a longer ride! We enjoyed our experience so much and would definitely recommend.

My first week living here and go to experience the 930pm Strip Tour. It was incredible, the views were breathtaking. I had the chance to sit in the front of the helicopter. The ride lasted about 10-12 minutes and it definitely gets your heart racing in a good way. Check in was simple and they hand you a group number and you go in the helicopter and sit according to where they place you due to weight, which is understandable! I definitely recommend this place and will be going again soon!

Excellent service , very knowledgeable staff and great pilots . Well worth the money . We did the wind dancer and they flew us into the Grand Canyon. We had some snacks, sodas and champagne which was perfect for the day . There where so many photo opportunities and they had a staff that even had a package you could buy with professional photographers. Great customer service the whole time and and an amazing experience for sure . I highly recommend them for any occasion.

Highly recommend you take a flight. The ride was SMOOTH The staff is professional. The waiting room is kept clean along with the gift shop. The view was gorgeous at night. I'll do this again.

This flight was supposed to be the highlight of our trip to Arizona and the Grand Canyon. My wife and I came to celebrate our 10 Year Wedding Anniversary. The helicopter holds 8 people, including the pilot. There were 3 couples on our flight. Maverick helicopters put my wife in the front and me in the back seat and claimed it was for weight distribution. That is garbage, it's bad business. The couple they stuck front and center had their flight cancelled the previous day, due to wind, so they literally pushed us aside to accommodate them. Separating a couple is completely wrong. I couldn't hold her hand, see her excitement, or share this moment with her due to their poor seating plan. I bought this to experience it with her!!! Instead, I was frustrated and sitting by myself. 4 helicopters took off at the same time, they could have done better! The backseat, right side of the helicopter is not a good seat. There's a post right where you look and you can't see much out of the left or front of the helicopter, much of what the pilot described and talked about was in those locations and I never saw them. I reached out to Maverick helicopters about my frustration and received nothing to make it right. We spent a ton of money to walk away disappointed. Fly with another company.

What an amazing experience. As a relative new resident to the area, I still enjoy to try out the touristy things. This has been on my bucket list and it was worth it. Maverick's website is accurate with expectations, so take the time to read through to know what you're getting into. The views were remarkable and worth doing. Plus plenty of time slots and I'd decide to go again! Plus customer service was great over the phone and the in-person. The waiting area and bathrooms were clean so always a plus side. Casey was our pilot for the evening and he was funny, and provided a safe and good flight.

Wow!! You can not go wrong with this tour! My husband and I, booked the Wind Dancer Sunset and we were highly impressed. Everyone was polite and answered all our questions. We headed out and we were on our way to the West Rim at the Grand Canyon. It was such a spectacular view from every angle. Our pilot Mike was incredibly informative Thank you to everyone for a once in a lifetime experience! Can't wait to bring the kids next time. Cheers!!

Truly an exceptional experience! We booked for Galentine's Day and I'm very happy we did! I have never rode in a helicopter before and this is great for an entry level experience. It is well organized, even down to a seating arrangement, which is great for nervous flyers. I regret not getting a longer trip, but the evening flight is just magical. You never realize how lovely Las Vegas is until you see the big picture. And the photographer! Talk about a quality picture and fast! Me and my friend looked gorgeous in his photo. My only criticism was there definitely should be a code of conduct detailed prior to flying. This is not a private flight and the other passengers with us were incredibly rude and vulgar on the community mic channel and frequently interrupted the ambiance music. They acted with no regard to us, and I feel like people like that need a verbal reminder that this needs to be a pleasurable experience for everyone. It got to the point that we had to cut off our headphones and just listen the the loud droning of the helicopter. But their lack of decorum takes away next to nothing from this experience! Definitely plan on coming again and hopefully doing a longer, private tour this time!

Short ride but so worth it!!! My husband and I had an amazing time. It was a short trip over looking the Las Vegas strip but the pilot was great and it was an experience that couldn't be passed up! I would recommend to anyone!

We did the Wind Dancer Helicopter Tour! What an incredible experience! We did this for my significant other's birthday! The pilot had us sit in front with him all the way to the canyon! The front seat is the best seat in the helicopter! You can see absolutely everything! The views from the elevation was nothing I've ever experienced! Definitely a must do again! Loved flying over the Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, Mojave Desert. As you fly back through the Grand Canyon, you'll view the red rock formations of the Bowl of Fire and ended our adventure with an exciting flight over Downtown Las Vegas and the Strip. Champagne, beverages and light snacks was served in the canyon when we descended down and landed! By far the most amazing experience to do with a loved one! Overall rating: 1000000000000/10

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! My favorite part of my whole trip. I thought I was going to be scared and it was going to be a rough ride. Nope it was smooth and such a thrill. Wish I remembered the pilots name but he did a great job. My husband and I sat in the front. I was not excited about that bc I was chickening out in my head. I'll tell you from now on sitting up front is a must!! We were bussed to and from our hotel. Ray our driver was nice and when I got bus sick he helped me out! If I could give you a 10 STAR I would!!

Always a great time and one of the best "bang for buck" stops in Vegas. Always recommend the night tour!

Never thought I was ever gonna be in a position to casually take the helicopter to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for EDC Las Vegas for one day, never mind ALL three days! But hey, if the finances and life position line up, why not? I am so so so very glad I did! First off, I have to give a shoutout to Stephanie for going way above and beyond my expectations to set me up. Even though my initial call to left me without a Friday return, she eventually had me setup with my preferred times: 6:30 pm departure and 6:30 am return. Many thanks to Stephanie for setting me up! The overall helicopter experience was smooth and easy! Bear in mind, EDC Friday was the first time I have EVER taken a helicopter. These guys are super professional! Check in to get your boarding group, wait for them to call you, and when they call you they make sure you're well informed on all the safety requirements. Then...you're off! Going over the Strip all the way to the Speedway is a majestic sight! The only thing better than that is leaving the Speedway, watching all the people in the Speedway parking lot suffer on their way out, and cruise over the Strip before landing at helipad back at Maverick! I mean, the helicopter going out is a cool experience, but coming back is even better just because you're getting back before 7 am which is almost unheard of if you're leaving every night at 5:30 am. Oh I am definitely doing this again. Shuttles don't quite hit the same after taking the helicopter! The only thing I regret not doing is going at night time one of the nights. I love getting to EDC early, but I might have to do this one time next year.

Maverick bus driver #39 driving like crazy, almost hit a car, then he cut off civilians scaring them as he sped in front of them near Caesar's while they were walking the crosswalk. Happened June 26,2024 5:04pm just before I posted this. Guy was driving absolutely insane. Wasn't even that much traffic, he was just swerving and cutting everyone off including people walking. Accident prone driver not good for business

Warning: your flight can get cancelled or rescheduled if winds get too aggressive. All up to the pilot's discretion. Unfortunately that's what happened to us but the rescheduling process was quick and flexible. Booking was simple online and the $109 price tag for a painless flight around the Vegas strip was worth it. We opted to drive ourselves and the parking lot was spacious. Check in occurred 45 minutes prior and we were weighed with our belongings. They had a snack station and gift shop available to kill time. The flight started on time and our pilot Ethan gave a fast safety run down. The whole experience went smoothly and we didn't feel a single bump. From take off to landing, the flight took about 15 minutes. Although they sell photos afterwards, you can take photos or videos during and after the flight. The professional photos were nice but the nearly $20 price was a bit steep since there wasn't a frame included. However you can receive the photo for free with the MyVEGAS rewards app which seemed like a worthy alternative. Although this was definitely a pricier experience in Vegas, I highly recommend doing it at least once with a partner or group. Safe and professional, what you really want when you're flying high in the sky. Bucket list--check.

Our pilot Jacob was stellar, friendly, welcoming and informative. It's expensive but it's a once in a lifetime experience. Best day ever!

We had an absolute blast doing the Las Vegas to Grand Canyon tour! Our pilot was Jasmine, and she was outstanding! We decided to go all out and book a helicopter with just the two of us and the pilot; a private tour, if you will, but with all the same stops. It was so worth it to us! We got to see Las Vegas, Fremont, Lake Mead, part of the Grand Canyon, and so much more. Such a fantastic experience and many great memories for us!

Definately recommend the Grand Canyon helicopter tour for those in Las Vegas for a quick trip; the helicopter took us to the west end in 45m, we walked around the different view points for a little less than 3 hours, another 45m of the helicopter and we were back in our hotel in time for dinner Our pilot was great, very entertaining and informative

What a fun experience! It was our first time being in a helicopter and we truly enjoyed every minute of it! Staff is organized and efficient.
