Max Brown Hotel 5th District, part of Sircle Collection

No checking in until 3pm but luggage can be stored,receptionist was initially friendly but very short on local info...|Having gone to a small christmas market about 20 mins walk from hotel, we arrived back at 4pm to go to our room. We found out we had been allocated a comfy retro room, which suited us perfectly apart from not having any view apart from the back carpark! Being a " dark" room with only 1 smallish window I did ask myself why the decor wasn't a bit brighter?. The hallways are also very dark....anyway, our room did have a kettle ( only 1 tea bag each with sugar) and a safe ( contrary to what other reviews I'd read.) I had bought drink sachets with me along with my travel kettle so we can have a drink whenever wanted. The bed was super comfy and our bathroom had a bath and shower.showergel,hand soap and shampoo were in the bathroom too. We had heating on demand ( hot air not under floor - as I'd also read)|Hotel itself had a great breakfast choice, cereal, toast, eggs, bacon, salmon , salad choice, croissants, bread, cakes, jams, honey, chocolate spread..and any drink possible from 2 machines ! Plenty for us to choose.|Hotel is about 30-45 mins walk from all the main attractions, opera house, bigger and better Christmas markets, horse and carriage rides...too many buildings to name.but we did find the hop on hop off bus great to get our bearings, and make the most of all the sights. |The hotel decor itself is a bit different to what we had seen and experienced before on our travels, not very bright and welcoming but a bit dark and commercial feeling. |But that said we were only there for 3 nights which was more than enough for us to see all the great sights on offer around and in vienna.

Friendly helpful staff. Quirky decor. Room we had was good size, underfloor heating in bathroom nice touch. Breakfast ok, could do with more choice. Comfortable beds. Easy to reach centre by foot. Slightly disappointed not to have safe or tea facility in room. Please improve stair access to floors, can come down by stairs but cant go up! Would recommend staying here though. Lovely gesture of chocolate and note for our anniversary on arrival left in room. Well done team!

Review I had a great stay at the hotel Max Brown in Vienna’s 5th district. The hotel has a relaxed vibe, a great atmosphere, and the location is perfect: plenty of restaurants, very good public transport connections, and two different gyms nearby that each offer something unique. Directly opposite the hotel is Trainer’s Gym. This studio is ideal for hotel guests because they offer a convenient and affordable day pass — and it’s super easy to buy. You simply purchase the day ticket at machine number 30 right at the entrance. It’s perfect for travelers who want to train without any hassle. You can also connect with personal trainers on-site and train with them directly, which is a great option if you want guidance or a more structured workout during your stay. A few minutes’ walk from the hotel you’ll find Trainer’s Gym Brick. This gym has a totally different concept: it’s a full fitness studio with great equipment and a very cool chill area. They even have a billiard table there, creating a relaxed social atmosphere where people naturally connect. Overall, the combination of a nice hotel, and for me as a fitness enthusiast very important, two excellent gyms with different styles, and a lively neighborhood makes this a super convenient place to stay — especially if you like to train and enjoy having everything within walking distance.

This hotel was wonderful for our family of 3. The breakfast was delicious and convenient. Very close to public transport or just a 20-minute walk to the city center. The hospitality was top-notch. The front desk suggested a few restaurants in the area and just went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. I was nervous because it had some bad reviews, but it ended up being the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 country tour.

Nicely designed room with a huge and comfortable bed. Breakfast was standard fare but tasty. Bathroom was fine but could perhaps use a little refresh and stronger water pressure. Coffee at breakfast was not as nice as advertised. Would have been great to enjoy one from the portafilter machine which was already running.

We stayed here for 2 nights; the location of the hotel is very convenient. The nearby bus and subway have made it very easy to visit Vienna. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. But the size of the room was not as big as expected, and the furniture on the balcony was not comfortable. I liked the breakfast, but it would have been better if there was more variety. Not bad at all, but there is room for improvement in terms of price.

This is a stylish and modern hotel, tastefully decorated. Bedroom is condo with large bed( But there is no bar fridge in the room). Breakfast was a good spread and offers non-pork options in meats. Staff are friendly and super helpful.

We spent three nights here and enjoyed our stay. It is clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The evening bartender was especially good. The breakfast buffet is also good. It is just a short walk to the ubahn (green 4 line) from which there is easy access to the city centre.
