Max Brown Hotel 7th District

This hotel is a bit out of the city center, and still very convenient located to the city center and public transport. You can even walk to the city center in half an hour. We really enjoyed this location! Rooms are clean, spacious with seats - we stayed in a loft room - and this one had a walk in shower. Breakfast is between 7 and 10, 7.30 till 10.30 on weekends. Large options with coffee, one machine is oat- and the other is cow milk. Big selection of tea. The food choices are a big smaller, still very good quality. The croissant are very fresh and flakey. My favorite was the home made granola that was still in high chunks. Almost like cookies, so good and tasty! Love the concept of skipping cleaning service, normally offered every other day, for a drink at the bar. You can request the cancellation of the cleaning online, QR-code is in the room. Staff is very friendly, international as well so speaking English goes very easy. The lobby is small, sometimes this is causing a traffic jam especially at night with big groups visiting the restaurant. We were not so pleased with the fact that we had to walk in and out of the hotel through the smokers area.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel's convenient location + friendly staff. However, we found our room's condition lacking and encountered several issues including a defective shower door that flooded the bathroom floor, the AC blowing hot air no matter the thermostat setting, a very wobbly bathroom faucet, and the room door failing to fully latch without a hard tug which almost lead to us walking away with the room unlocked. The prices were very fair and I don't expect the most up-to-date rooms at this price-point but the lack of basic maintenance from a name brand property was disappointing.

A sleek modern looking hotel, with friendly staff and great service. Excellent breakfast on offer. Our room had a walk in wardrobe with plenty of space for our "stuff" - that was great. Comfy bed too. Not so great - insufficient lighting for our 50 something eyes, and a noisy bathroom fan. It's dog friendly, so we met some nice doggos (had to leave ours behind 😔). Bus, tram and Ubahn all within 5 mins walk, so super easy to get around. All in all, a great value package, we liked it

I stayed one night only, without breakfast. I had dinner at the SEVEN NOTH Restaurant. I recommend this address for its very different concept: you order a la carte everything you like (from pizza, some starter, maybe pasta, to the meat or fish main courses) and it comes when ready from the open kitchen visibile at the bottom end of the eating hall. You can eat in normal tables, at the cocktails bar or the kitchen bar. The hotel has a very good position in the middle of the 7th District in Vienna. My favourite one to stay. The service is very professional but also very warm and cosy. All native English speakers or very fluent anyway. The hotel is dog friendly. The only tiny minus to mention after my experience was a party of a group of people in one of the congress areas of the hotel. Maybe a company celebration. So, for that, falling asleep depended on the music vibes and intensity of the beats. But of course, that was an extraordinary event, I keep in mind this address for my next stop to Vienna.

Sometimes it’s hard to put a beautiful experience into words, but this was certainly one of them. On a practical level, I can confirm that the beds were incredibly comfortable, with what seemed like brand-new mattresses—neither too soft nor too firm—and very cosy duvets and pillows.|​Both the room and the bathroom seemed recently renovated. The bathroom was lovely, featuring high-quality soap and shampoo and excellent faucets that provided instant hot or cold water. One thing we truly appreciated was the absolute silence in the room; this was perhaps because our room faced the back, but certainly also thanks to perfect soundproofing.|​Another highlight was the exquisite kindness of the staff at reception, who were always smiling and helpful. The hotel’s location is ideal: you can reach the city centre in about 30 minutes on foot, and there are many bars, lovely little shops and small restaurants nearby.|​A perfect stay that left us with wonderful memories. Thank you!

On a map this hotel looks a little "out of the way" but everything in Vienna is easily walkable from here, alternatively you can use the great public transport system to get around. |The hotel itself is (to me) industrial chic, lots of concrete, steel, exposed ducting and fake "corten" walls. |There is a small reception area which is plenty sufficient and a good sized restaurant/bar area behind it. We only used that for breakfast but every time we returned to the hotel the restaurant seemed to be very busy with a real good buzz to the atmosphere. |Our room was rather funky, including a basketball hoop and record deck with a selection of random records (not always reflecting the album covers they were in).|Bed was super comfy, bathroom was a good size with good water pressure, light and bright, great mirror. |I think one area let's the room down, that's clothes storage! They are several hangers but no real room to unpack other clothes, no drawers etc Obviously draws are not "cool". ||Overall I'd happily come back and stay again, we didn't see all of Vienna this trip so you never know. ||Ensure you explore the neighborhood though, there are some great bars/restaurants/niche shops around.

The hotel is wonderfully decorated, the rooms are cozy, spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and the "Seven North" restaurant is a definite plus. The location is perfect. The showers are very problematic, it would be nice if you took care of them so that they are not clogged or leaking and do not flood the entire bathroom. Guests come to rest, not to be plumbers

Funky hotel, everything you want for a comfortable stay. Super cosy beds and heated floor in the bathroom! |We didnt eat in the hotel but it was packed every night so must be good.|However the real quality of this place and more particularly the staff shines when confronted by my disaster - my tablet left on the bed and I only realised after I passed security. A call, a few helpful emails and 1 week later, securely wrapped and in immaculate condition, my tablet arrives courtesy of Vienna Post and Royal Mail. Staff were super friendly and fun throughout but I am especially grateful for their attention here.

Never recommending it again . My grandson's Bose earphones were missing when he packed up to check out. We spoke to the front desk and I phoned and spoke to an assistant mgr. Was told you to write an email. Never heard back. Not even an acknowledgement of receipt of the email. THIS BEHAVIOR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. Appalling .

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during a two week Europe trip. It was perfect. Where do I begin? The location is in the Neubau area. Close to public transportation and very walkable to various restaurants. It's a ten minute walk from the West Bahnhof (train station) which took us to Melk for a day trip. Super convenient. The hotel itself was so hip, beautifully designed and well thought out. The interior design really showed that it was built to create an engaging and interactive environment. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. There was even a basketball hoop and record player. The bathroom was also spacious (a welcome change from the hotel we stayed at in another city). The AC was very powerful (a unique thing in Europe) and the bathtub was awesome. The breakfast (not free) was amazing! The hotel has a pretty high end restaurant attached to it and in the mornings the Viennese breakfast spread hit the spot. The front desk concierge was friendly and knowledgeable. When we arrived, they greeted us with such a welcoming attitude and had a welcome kit for us which included suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The only bad thing was this group of idiots in our hall that kept slamming their doors. But really the bad thing is that there are only 4 Max Brown hotels and none were in Paris which is where we were headed to next...

A great affordable place to stay when visiting Vienna. The manager was absolutely professional and very friendly. He greeted us with a warm welcome and even sent a dog care package to our room. Our two little ones loved the food and bed. The hotel is in a really convenient location with two grocery stores a block or less away. The staff was always knowledgeable and helpful. We will absolutely come and stay here again. Thank you.
