"Maxie Eisen, Bahnhofsviertel. The Maxie Eisen has been in the international press already. The New York Times talked about it in it's round up of the 52 Places to Go in 2014. They have the real-deal pastrami and reuben sandwiches. The place is always packed."

Really nice interior design with comfy chairs to lounge and talk for hours on end. The drinks were very good as well and the service was great to boot. Drop by in a late summer Frankfurt evening and see the tram pass by while enjoying your drink with chill loungy beats in the background.

Decent food. They are a heavily meat based. So can't really call it hipster.

We went there for our Company Christmas party. Amazing food, good location and acceptable cocktails.

Delicious pastrami, food in general is tasteful, also a good option at lunch time. The bar is also nice and trendy, however while the furniture us very nice looking it is not always so comfy and the service could be more friendly..

First time having cinnamon fries. But boy was it delicious - my fronds and I shared some steak and fries and this was seriously the best meat I've had in ages so tender and cooked just right. Cool young crowd and friendly staff that also speaks English. Good for big groups too

Google
A bit pricey, but when looking for the best pastrami sandwiches @ Bahnhofsviertel Frankfurt, that's where you wanna stop by. I wish they would start making their own brisket instead of just importing. Still: yum and recommended.

Tried the Reuben. Super delicious! Would definitely recommend the cauliflower for a good turmeric flavor with a delicious garlic aioli dipping sauce! The Brooklyn beer is only okay for a 5.2 ABV beer that sells for a whopping 5€! Fantastic flavors nonetheless which are totally worth the visit!

Pastrami is only mediocre. Price is overcharged. Go to Bidlabu, Kleinmarkthalle or Strahmanns. Service waiters stink of cigarettes - not good. Drinks are ok. Place is very small and it is hard to get a seat.

Yelp
Visited here on the recommendation of friends and we weren't disappointed. We shared a large Ruben and rosemary fries and weren't disappointed. Food prices are reasonable (except for the steak which was expensive), Soft drinks are expensive, best value is the unsweetened homemade lemonade. As others noted place is small and reservations are recommended.

Yelp
Yes, it's hipster (one look at the staff says it all) but still a unique place in the red light district and a truly novel addition to the restaurant scene with their sandwiches. I really wouldn't know where else to go for a very good Reuben sandwich at night besides here. It is A LOT of meat (although I could have eaten two that night) and I think the price is acceptable. I do like the atmosphere and staff was very friendly. If you do intend to eat here, be aware that space in the restaurant part of the restaurant is limited and you may have to wait (we did). An excellent place to catch a glimpse of the increasingly popular red light district chic.

Yelp
Service: fast, friendly Food: half a year after my first visit and big compliments to the crew who were explaining rhe process and the massive demand of meat in a month. This time, the pastrami standard sandwich got no flavour, almost no herbs, just some bits of mustard. Very bad development in short time.

Yelp
Reuben sandwiches in Frankfurt. That just about says it all. Over two decades I've been here and somebody finally opens a kosher deli style shop right before I leave. *sigh* Anyway... bit of a hipsterish place in the Bahnhofsviertel. There is no outside signage and the proprietors are apparently proud of the graffiti on the exterior walls since they haven't bothered cleaning it off. In sideis well renovated but relatively small so you might be sharing a table. I had a reuben. Small was nine something and the large 13 something. At first I was taken aback by the price but the sandwich really is big. Pastrami is homemade so nice and juicy from the oven and piled very high. Like New York deli high. Cheese and kraut kind of got lost in there but hey, who ever complains about too much pastrami? Not me. Served with a pickle and a small portion of coleslaw. Very good sandwich. However.... at around €30 for Mrs. S and I to have a good sandwich and a couple of sodas.... that's when you really consider just making it at home. PS: I love the fact that yelp has an ambiance option called "hipster". Saves me moaning.

Yelp
Coming from Louis Pretty in Berlin, this place was disappointing. In fact, I was shocked to learn that Maxie Eisen came first, because the thought that kept coming to mind was "pale imitation" despite the same group of people being behind both establishments. A Louis Perry Reuben would be able to draw me back to the Bahnhofsviertel, which I simply find unpleasant, but not the one served here, sadly. The premises did not make me comfortable either. The whole experience felt like I was in an empty shell, without a soul, disingenuous.

Yelp
Bahnhofsviertel hipster gentrification with very delicious pastrami.

Yelp
This place is great! Great cocktails and Raywen (the bartender) is so cool and friendly. The bar opens until 1 am. Very clean and the staff speaks English, would highly recommended. I would definitely come back.

Yelp
Good food and fun spot. I really enjoyed the menu; its simple comfort done well. The prices and service were very solid.
