I’ve been seeing the hype for Maxime’s all over TikTok, and since I’m always on the hunt for the best tiramisu, I had to finally try it. I ordered the vodka rigatoni and it did not disappoint, super flavourful and really satisfying. The truffle fries were also delicious. I do wish they had more chicken options and a bit more variety in the appetizers, though. And the tiramisu… AMAZING 🤩 The presentation was beautiful and the creaminess said it all, the flavour definitely didn’t disappoint. I’ll 100% be coming back for more! 😋😋

Maxime’s is a really vibey place for drinks and apps. It looks unassuming on the outside, but has a really cool interior with lots of booths and tables. The food was good and presented well enough. My favourite dishes were the oysters and tiramisu. My only complaint was that it was quite loud, between the music and crowd, we had to yell a bit to chat with each other at our table. We came on a Saturday night. I think this would be a cool place to bring your friends, have a couple of drinks and vibe to the music. Would not recommend for date night unless you go at a less busy time. Service was amazing though (shoutout to our beautiful server Francesca!)

I feel privileged to have the opportunity to explore the world and Maxime's is undoubtedly a standout destination. Upon entering, you are immediately treated to exceptional service, making you feel like the only guest present. Although I did not catch the Manager's name, he ensured that I received outstanding attention. Steph, the head bartender, was remarkably friendly, easy to converse with, and prepared exceptional dirty martinis. Due to the high volume of customers, Kayleigh was called in, and her poised yet humorous nature made her a great fit for the team she was a delight. DJ Seb's arrival added to the welcoming ambiance, and the food was superb, with the wagyu meatballs and Canadian steak cooked to medium-well being particular highlights. The music selection was also impressive, evoking memories of a Miami yacht experience with friends.

We had quite the visit here. First of all, the restaurant is a lot smaller than I thought. It gives you that cruise ship lounge vibe. We only ordered the seafood tower so I can’t comment on the rest of the food. The tower was impressive, enough food for 2 small eaters. We enjoyed everything, specially the jumbo shrimps. They were so fresh. Oysters were also really good until we had one rotten one. Our server was so nice, he offered to bring us another dozen but after having one bad oyster you’re really not enthusiastic for more. So instead he offered us free drinks. Plus a free dessert … which also came with a piece of plastic string that I had to pull out of my mouth. All in all, very unfortunate night but our server, Amin, he really stepped up. Very apologetic and also give us a 50% discount on our bill.

Went to a Maxine on a Monday night to celebrate my birthday for dinner and it was just as lovely as it would have been on a weekend. Our server was an absolute delight; friendly, attentive and thoughtful. We also had other staff by periodically to check in and make conversation with us. The food was spectacular and the wine selection was fantastic!

Maxime's ALWAYS delivers an outstanding dining experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt sexy, inviting, and thoughtfully designed — a perfect balance of comfort and style. The service was exceptional: attentive without being intrusive, with staff, (specifically the manager Juls," who was knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely passionate about the menu. Every recommendation they provided was spot-on, especially the wine!!! The food itself was the highlight. Each dish was beautifully presented and full of depth and flavour. Standouts include: ahi tuna carpaccio, beef carpaccio, spicy vodka rigatoni, SIZZLING GRILLED KING OYSTER MUSHROOMS and any of the cuts of steaks! The cocktails/wine program also impressed — creative, well-balanced, and perfectly paired with the dishes. Overall, as per usual, Maxime's exceeded expectations in every category: ambiance, service, and culinary execution. Whether you're looking for a date night spot, a place to celebrate, or simply an elevated meal, this restaurant is absolutely worth a visit. I’ll definitely be returning.

We came here on a whim and tried our luck with just walking in. The service from the moment we arrived was fantastic. The front of the house team said they could fit us in at the bar and made it work! They warned us that unfortunately the building air conditioning was broken but that didn't bother us. We were then seated at the bar and the bartender tended to us right away. She was attentive and friendly. We told her we were on a long overdue date night as parents and surprised us later on in our meal with champagne. So nice and such a nice touch! We ordered three dishes to share: grilled octopus, beef tartare and the spicy rigatoni. Every dish was delicious! I appreciated the bigger serving size to match the price on the menu. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

They were incredibly accommodating for our group of professional women and made the entire evening seamless from start to finish. The food was absolutely on point — every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The vibe was excellent: stylish, energetic, and perfect for a special occasion. From the service to the atmosphere, everything exceeded expectations. I wouldn’t hesitate to celebrate here again — highly recommended!

If you are looking for an aftermove where you can get good drinks and small bites then add this place to your list. It has a lounge vibe and the staff is amazing. They are super engaged at the table and also provide great recommendations. I recommend getting a resume as the place is small so there is a limit on tables. The music is fun and they cool LED walls. There is also an outdoor area as well.

Great last minute dinner! Fresh food and superb service! Music is loud and ambience is dark of you like that sort of thing.

Amazing food, atmosphere, really nice seating and light, food was delicious! Service was incredible, it was my girlfriend and my anniversary and our waitress brought over some champagne on the house, absolutely going back

Maxime is so delicious! Quality food with excellent friendly services. I can't wait to come back here to eat again. Definitely ask for your steak "chicago style", truffle mashed potatoes is soo tasty and smooth. Ambiance and decor makes me forget I'm near King street. Such fun music vibe.

Food was great and the service ! Really pretty inside too. Parking is abit annoying but doable , street parking typical for downtown. I recommend the shrimp dish! So good

Really special, intimate restaurant with kitchen in full view. We had a reservation but the place was pretty empty. Likely we were early and it picks up later. I hope so because the steep prices are worth it. The food is really special, service flawless, and ambience delightful.

I LOVE his place! It is for sure a Toronto must go to! The vibes were amazing. There was a LIVE DJ on a Tuesday night. From the moment you walk in, to the minute you leave, it is a 5 star experience all the way. My server was Mark. Ask for MARK! He portioned my food out perfectly. He was very personable and friendly. The Wagyu Ceasar is the best salad you'll ever had! They even accommodated me deconstructing it and making own little dressing. If you know me, you know I LOVE Carbone.... I ordered the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and I'll I can say is WOW! It's worth a trip to Toronto just to eat here again!

Hands down one of the best dinning experiences I've had in a long time. I was concerned as a pescatarian that there would not be enough choices. There are a lot of choices! The food was absolutely amazing, the service was incredible and the atmosphere was fantastic. I didn't even mind the house music as it was being played at a low volume. It did get a little louder as we were leaving but still not bad.

Maxime's is one of the reasons I will come back to Toronto, it's that good! The food is delicious! First of all, the ambiance and vibes are amazing, and the time spent on the details really shows. The open-concept kitchen and close-knit seating add to the ambiance. The service is amazing, our waiter/bartender was very nice and helpful. He recommended the best dishes and cocktails and was very well-informed. Every single dish was immaculate. I will add a list of everything we ordered, you can't go wrong with any of these. I want to especially highlight the truffle pasta as I have had several different versions from different restaurants, but this truffle pasta was hard to beat. Some of our favorite dishes: - Crispy Rock Shrimp - Truffle and Mushroom Pasta - Australian Wagyu Cocktails: - Hot & Bothered - P-Star Martini

Food was great small intimate place but small portions. The drinks were great mocktails available. Service was great very accomadating.
