Won't be back to this franchise restaurant.
Max's was always a little expensive given that it's just a franchise restaurant producing middling quality dishes. So I was a bit shocked to see that the prices were on the higher end. Who would seriously consider getting the Ruby's Choice at P9,399 for 8-10?
Our meal came to P1950 for 3.5 people. But the dishes were nothing special. Only a few strands of old stringy kangkung with the Adobong kangkung tofu dish, Sinigang was average, pancit colored with presumably annatto wasn't particularly appealing as the color just highlighted the oil, we didn't really order drinks either. The servers failed to note down our Chicken sisig request... Just as well really I wasn't impressed by the food we had.
For a Saturday evening meal, the restaurant was surprisingly not very busy, and now I know why.
There are many better restaurants in the area, so no need to return to this one for me at least, but it was worth a try.
Marks also deducted for many items not available that were on the menu or pictured on the posters.
