The 26 Best Beachfront Hotels in Europe

"Antalya, Turkey Maxx Royal Kemer feels like a family-run boutique guesthouse rather than the colossal resort it is. This is largely due to the attentiveness of the staff and the warm smiles that greet guests at every turn. So much as hint at a special occasion, and it’s more than likely a jumble of balloons will greet you after a long day on one of the two beaches. There’s ample room for everyone to breathe, and rooms are more akin to sprawling villas. Check into one of the two-bedroom swim-up rooms, and you’ll be forgiven for forgetting that, eventually, there’s a check-out time. Premium rooms are paired with access to cabanas on the long beach and sleek chill-out areas facing the sparkling Mediterranean. The beach is stony, but boardwalks lead into the water, so feet are unscarred, and this corner of the Med seems all the clearer for it. Cornflakes are as frequent a sight as caviar at breakfast, and while lunchtimes can be a formal affair, options also include poolside sandwiches or indulgent eclairs from the patisserie. Suppertime is when the resort comes alive. Dancers and DJs take to the stage while dressed-up diners choose from a range of restaurants facing the heart of the resort. Discover Mediterranean cuisine at Medigusto, seafood favorites at Marsea, or Far Eastern flavors at Otaku; the possibilities are endless. —Vanessa Kingori Distance to the water: On the beach Travel time: 1 hour 10 minute drive from Antalya Airport Price: Rooms from around $1,027 per night, all-inclusive" - Lauren Burvill

The service quality is amazing. The Operations Manager Şenol, and guest assistants Fatih and Alptuğ were incredibly attentive and helpful. They go above and beyond to ensure you have a relaxing vacation. From the moment we arrived until the time we left, they made us feel very special.||Maxxiland, the kids’ club, is fantastic—our daughter never wanted to leave. They organize dozens of activities from 9 AM to 2 AM. It’s a wonderful experience for families with children.||The room, restaurants, sea and pool were all perfect. I stayed at luxury hotels in many countries, but I have never seen a service quality like Maxx Royal Kemer.||I would definitely recommend it to everyone.

- 4 nights at Maxx Royal Kemer|- Pleasantly surprised. Overall, a delightful experience.|- Great atmosphere, relaxing and peaceful |- Maxx assistant manager Furkan is exceptional, simply amazing - top of the top on service, consideration, going out of the way for elite luxury service. Really impressed. Simply outstanding and so good. |- Maxx assistants Emrehan and Ononu were perfect; incredibly helpful, capable, delivered tremendous bespoke service. Really impressive and solid. Wow! Furkan, Emrehan and Ononu made it quite a great stay. |- Massage therapist Kanil is incredible; one of the most skilled massage therapists ever encountered in my life; so good! Thank you! |- One big problem is there is a rude and arrogant manager at the Gastro restaurant named Gaurav; he is horrendous, has a major attitude problem, and was very unhelpful. Restaurant was politely asked to accelerate the speed of service and food, to which he demonstrated rudeness and zero ability to attempt. He was inexperienced, had considerable ego, and just overall quite disappointed. Very surprised he can be "manager" at supposedly the top restaurant at the hotel. We politely just left the restaurant. It was terrible experience. Restaurant manager Gaurav is terrible. |- Overall, highly recommended for a relaxing, great stay.

The best service you can get in Türkiye even in Europe. Perfect location and climate. Special thanks to the responsible manager Mr. Sercan, our Maxx Assistants Deniz&Madina (they supported us for every detailed request) and Tamer who served us very fast and with perfection. As a family we look forward to our next stay!

We’ve been fortunate to visit several 5 star all inclusive hotels in Turkey, Greece and Dubai and the Maxx Royal Kemer resort is by far the best. The service is exemplary, the food is amazing and the facilities are world class. The only slight negative is the entertainment program, which is slightly repetitive and geared towards the Russian speaking guests. A special shout out to Jacquelin our host and also the South American staff at the Sunlit beach bar and restaurant, who were all courteous and very friendly. Honestly this place takes some beating. I do like to visit different places however, I’ll be back here very soon!!!

We have had a week here as a family of 5 |(14, 12 and 6) ||Loved the swift checkin and we were swiftly settled into our luxurious room. We were blown away by the space, very spacious, modern and kept immaculate by our cleaner (7007) ||We have never been bored. We have left the al a carte style of restaurants as we have all had more family time ||We were spoilt for choice in the evening for entertainment and particularly enjoyed the main stage bands and the maxi land Mongolian circus and sonic show :) ||We don’t usually use kids clubs but my youngest has loved it and found it so much fun he hasn’t want to leave at times |The staff have all been fantastic there so sweet and kind! ||We have particularly enjoyed the Turkish for breakfast and dinner and our last night we had a very special evening being entertained by Ernest at the tappenyaki ! My boys said it was the best steak they have ever had and I enjoyed the lobster and dessert :) ||All of the staff are second to none and we haven’t found one that we wouldn’t want to employ ourselves, all have great attention to detail, attitude and pace :) too many to mention but Ida in breakfast, the gentleman from the Philippines, Ali and Ali can and the chap by the grass area with the longer area who really were all absolutely spot on!!||We have enjoyed the Cuban with the Argentinian waitress helping g us select the best tasty food :) ||The area is stunning and we have loved the beach watching the marine life and goats ||The slides and padel courts have kept all the kids entertained but there was so much more they could have done if they had wished ||We paid for some water sports which was well worth the money and very enjoyable ||We had a few trips out to local shops (literally down the drive ) bought some fab souvenirs and found it very safe and friendly! We loved venturing to the kemer market on the Monday, |The taxi waited several hours for us and it was a great deal to be fair. ||Sadly my first review was very lengthy and when I tried to add photos it disappeared so I fear I am forgetting some things …||If there was a negative to add it would be for me personally I like to be on my phone less abroad so I would like to see a menu rather than scan but when I asked one was always provided and never too much trouble infact kids club gave me print outs which was really helpful :) ||Big thanks to Mohammed who really went above and beyond to look after us! What a lovely guy and so helpful and kind. ||The only thing I would like to add is there a lot of balloons set off which I feel in such a beautiful area is a shame, surely the remains end up in the sea and in the mountains - in the Uk you just don’t see this anymore so although I know balloons are great for kids I’d love to only see them indoors not floating in the sky but that’s just me||This hotel is unbelievable and we really hope to return

Firstly can I say this is the best 5* Hotel we have stayed in, service from start to finish has been 7*|We were greeted at reception by our host/butlers Alp and Fatih…who checked in with us each day and organised our every need.|Quick and efficient check in, the room was ready on time and had a beautiful view over the sea.|We chose to eat at all 10 of the restaurants during our stay, however our favourite was the traditional Turkish restaurant Safraan, the food was to die for and great service, we were also in the best position to view the stage.|The entertainment each night was like being at the West End in London…the acts were amazing!!|I wouldn’t hesitate coming back here, you don’t even need to leave the complex, it’s all laid on for you as a couple, next time we will bring the whole family inc the grand children…|We checked out the kids play areas and omg they’ve thought of everything.|Secondly our friends visited one night and were blown away. They have also booked for next year.|Check out this hotel it’s better than all of the 5* hotels I’ve stayed at in Dubai….

Very good hotel and Anna with Kamilla asistance was top service! We liked max kid zone too it was very good place for our kid! Also Tamur supervisor was very good at pavilion! Thanks for your service!||Maybe the main difference from Maxx Royal at Belek it is that Kemer Maxx Royal is focused more to relaxing and rest and have less party vibe.
