May Kaidee Tanao Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant

I have come back to May Kaidee after 12 years. Food is still delicious - i has two of my favourite dishes: fresh spring rolls and massaman curry. The “new” location is quite spartan, but not too bad. Very recommended for food!

Wanted an upgrade on street pad thai and found this place. The story and food are perfect. Look at the two sauces which accompany the dishes i show. The flavours were complex and delicious. Very satisfying. I could easily go back to try all the flavours in store . Friendly staff 🙂

Best food we had in Bangkok. It is so tasty fast and clean. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. We tried pad thai, pad see ew and mango sticky rice everything was perfect. It is also completely safe to get drinks with ice here, had it many times it is definitely not from tap water.

We got a recommendation for this place on our first day and went here after the first time for 4 consecutive days. Here you can find delicious vegetarian and vegan local thai food. You can choose from Thai dishes from different regions, the food is a bit more costly (around 100-120 Baht on average) than on the street but it is much better than what you can find from the street vendors, and the portions are bigger. Every dish is made with fresh ingredients and delicious spices so you can't compare it with the street food. Our recommendations: Pad Thai, Pad See U

During my visit to Bangkok this time, I not only stumbled upon this amazing vegan restaurant but also made some incredible new friends from May Kaidee. The food options here are so diverse, and I'm sure you'll find everything they serve here delicious. And when it comes to prices, for a restaurant of their caliber, it's pretty budget-friendly. The new friends I mentioned earlier are the friendly and fun staff of this restaurant. I've gotten to know some of them quite well, to the point where it feels more like visiting a friend's house than a restaurant. I must admit, I've been hitting up this place almost every other day during my six-month stay in Bangkok. It's definitely secured a spot on my list of favorite vegan restaurants in Bangkok. Amazing food. Loved the flavours and spiciness. Came here twice on our two day stopover in Bangkok

Went back here 3 times because I loved it so much. The Pad Thai is probably the best I‘ve had in Thailand and the Khao Soi was also good. Prices were fair the best compared to other vegetarian places near by. You can also ask about allergies.

This is no joke the second restaurant in my life that I’ve found where I would go back every single day until I tried everything on the menu. 4 days in Bangkok, I ate here 6 times at least. Tried different salads, pad Thai multiple times as well as curries and everything was the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’m from LA too and I’ve looked for good Thai. This is it.
