Maya Bay Thai

First time trying maya bay and wow, for sure not going to be my last time. The food was absolutely delicious, the drinks were on point, and the spice just took it to another level! Every bite had that perfect Thai kick that keeps you going back for more. If you love bold flavours and good vibes, this spot does not disappoint. What I ordered: Mango Slush Thai milk tea Tom Yum Linguine Fried calamari Salted Egg yolk fries Chilly and Salt crispy pork belly So GOOD!

My bestie and I came to Maya Bay Thai for dinner and wow… everything was so good. We ordered the Hoi Lai (stir-fried smoked chilli, clams, and basil), Pad See Ew with shrimp, and the Karee Soft Shell Crab served with rice. Every dish came out fresh, hot, and absolutely packed with flavour. The spices were definitely kicking’ in the best way and we were loving every bite 🥰 The curry was rich and comforting, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the clams were insanely tasty. Of course we had to try dessert, so we got both the mango sticky rice and the durian sticky rice. No regrets whatsoever. Plus, iced Thai milk tea to top it all off 😋 Portions were huge and super generous. I’m so happy I have leftovers. Everything tasted amazing and felt worth it. I would absolutely come back here again (and again). 10/10 🤩

This place was so good, great for intimate catch ups & date nights. Their pork belly was the star of the show, I could’ve eaten just that. The squid was also great, super soft and flavourful. Skip their Thai sodas, found them way too artificial tasting & overly sweet. Overall, not my favourite Thai spot but the location is great with delicious food.

It’s an ok Thai restaurant! I ordered a Pad Thai dish which was not that tasty. The noodles tasted like plastics. I couldn’t chew them. The spices were off. The plate was very sour and the Tofu tasted expired. Customer service was good and inside the restaurant was ok.

Absolutely loved our experience!! Got recommended by a friend to visit here and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. We ordered chicken Khoi sui and chicken green curry. Both the dishes were so flavourful. Portion sizes are also generous. I was also tempted to try the soft shell crab dish but there was absolutely no room. I know I’m returning for it for sure! Their unpaid star is their in house chili oil, which is so flavourful.

Nice place, good food. The Pork Belly is spectacular. First time trying cream soda, when I was a kid, I used to mix 3 different pops, and this drink took me there. We tried the shrimp dumplings too, and I also got the purple yam ice cream. absolutely loved this experience; I recommend this place, and I will definitely be back for that pork belly.

Our second time here in a month, which honestly never happens and that speaks volumes. We LOVE this place! The only reason I’ve kept a star short is coz the soft shell crab rice was not the best. I’ve had many many of these soft shell crabs and the quality here simply didn’t seem like it was good. They could’ve surely done better. Also ordered chicken Pad see ew which is a-mazing!!! Must try! We wanted to try it the last time but didn’t order simply coz we wanted to be cautious. Kho soi is obviously sooo good! Ordered it last time and once again today. Absolutely lovely. I’d say people must try this place and other than the soft shell crab I’d give this place 5/5.

The food here is absolutely delicious and tastes just like the authentic Thai flavors I’ve had in Bangkok and Pattaya. The place feels cozy, and sitting by the window at the corner location gave us the vibe of enjoying Asian street food. It can get a bit busy during peak hours, but the two staff members were super friendly and hardworking. 10/10 – I’ll definitely be back!
