Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

I recently stayed at Maya with my family and oh my goodness what an amazing resort. We opted for a villa with hot tub which my 4yo absolutely loved and it meant we could easily flop around the villa and relax after a day of sightseeing without needing to go to the main pool. We did also visit the main pool which had a lovely outlook. Our son visited kids club one morning so my partner and I could enjoy the adults pool which is simply stunning, overlooking the river. Kids Club was wonderful with a lovely outdoor play area and indoor they did craft and other games (he loves the bracelet they made and still wears it). We had a butler Ricky, who was fantastic and helped with all of our bookings (we easily corresponded over WhatsApp when we needed to). It is a large property but the buggies make it easy to get around if needed (again, very easy to arrange over WhatsApp). Unfortunately the Balinese dance shows were a little late for our son (at 8.15pm) but we enjoyed the pre-dinner music every night at the tree bar. We didn't have time to use the Spa on our stay, but it looked so peaceful and stunning. The only suggestion I could make would be to add a few more items to the kids menu - our son definitely didn't go hungry though as our portions were generous and we often shared some of our meals too. Lovely stay and highly recommend.

Everything – from the breathtaking surroundings to the exquisite food, world-class spa, and outstanding service – was flawless. The team at Maya are true hospitality professionals. They deliver 5-star service with warmth, grace, and attention to every little detail. A special thank you to our wonderful butlers Mai, Ari, and Rani – nothing was ever too much trouble, and their care made our stay extra memorable. We’d also like to thank our fantastic housekeeper Jede, who kept our rooms immaculate every single day – a true gem. Dining at Maya was a joy. The service team were incredibly attentive and friendly throughout, with a special mention to Parka, and the lovely waitress who looked after us at The Italian restaurant during lunch – she was brilliant (we’re so sorry we didn’t catch her name!). The spa experience was the icing on the cake. My daughter and I enjoyed two blissful treatments, and once again the service was impeccable – serene, professional, and truly rejuvenating. This was a 5-star experience in every way, and we’re already dreaming of our return. Thank you Maya Ubud – you’ve set the bar incredibly high!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Magical Experience! Maya Ubud Resort and Spa completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect — the food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and full of rich Balinese flavors. Every meal felt like a special occasion. The vibes of the resort are just incredible — peaceful, serene, and deeply connected to nature. The sound of the river, the lush greenery, and the elegant design of the resort created such a calming and luxurious atmosphere. The service was beyond excellent. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can feel that they go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and pampered at every step. And the views? Breathtaking. Whether it’s the jungle canopy, the river valley, or the perfectly maintained gardens, there’s beauty in every direction. It’s truly a hidden paradise in Ubud. Highly, highly recommend — we’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel and grounds are simply stunning. The tranquil ambiance, set amongst the lush jungle fauna, is truly unforgettable. The staff were super helpful and attentive throughout our stay. We also visited the spa, which was truly relaxing and the perfect way to unwind.|A special shout-out to our butler team—Aris, Dharma, Gangga, and Eka—who went above and beyond. They were always a step ahead, even drying our trainers after I left them outside in the rain! Every request was met with a smile, and the restaurant food was faultless. We're sad to be leaving but would not hesitate to return or recommend this beautiful hotel to others.

Our stay at Maya Resort was truly unforgettable! From the warm welcome to the incredible service, everything was perfect. A big thank you to the amazing staff — especially Ricky, Eka, Rupa, Ari, Wira, Merta, and Dewi — for making us feel so cared for.Service was always quick — whether it was the buggy, room service, or help from the butler team, everything arrived within minutes. Our toddler wasn’t feeling well and under the weather, but the butler team went above and beyond to help us.We loved the food — from delicious room service to the incredible buffet, and special thanks to the chef who made masala tea for us every day. The River Café offered stunning views, soothing river sounds, and amazing Italian food and drinks.Our son had a blast at the Kids Club with creative crafts that looked like professional workshops. And the spa experience by the river was just magical. The Balinese evening events at the amphitheatre were beautiful and filled with great food and culture.The photography session was a lovely bonus — we got some great complimentary pictures to remember the trip.Thank you to everyone at Maya Resort — your kindness and care made our stay truly special!

We wrapped up a wonderful stay at Maya Ubud and we were so sad to say goodbye. It is in an amazing location. So tranquil and beautiful. The spa is well worth a visit. A special call out to the butler services provided. Dharma, Aris, Eka, and Gangga were immediately on hand for any request we had. 🙏🏼 we will definitely go back despite the long journey from Ireland. Maya Ubud is one of Bali’s gems. 💎

We loved our stay at Maya. The resort is simply and beautifully designed in a gorgeous lush landscape. If you love the tropics, nature, wellness, peace, stunning views, great food and friendly hospitality then this is the place for you. Conveniently located close to Ubud centre with a free shuttle bus (just be warned that the traffic congestion can be insane) Maya offers a serene retreat in a stunning location.|I was there with my 2 children (9 and 12yo) and our highlights are many! They include: the infinity pool with visits from some curious monkeys, the spa experiences in a jaw dropping setting (the jet lag treatment a perfect way to arrive), the free morning yoga, the sound bath experience, the tennis court and wonderful coach, feeding the fish, the guided rice paddy walk just behind the Maya farm, the food, the traditional Balinese evening entertainment, the villa with its own garden and pool and fabulous view to wake up to. We were there for 4 nights, but wished we had a couple more. We would return in a heartbeat.

Such a great great great experienceEveryone was so sweet, kind, and most importantly genuine. This place surprised me and my family multiple times everyday- from cleaning our pool when we are out for breakfast silently, to fix our light in the pouring rain, to make us delicious coffee and great food, and coming to drive us everywhere at anytime- we will definitely come back.Specially thanks to: Yoga, our great butler who is so kind and supportive to drive us around and provide help,Sumi, who checked us in and booked the ATV with the best deal- made us realized that you don’t need to book them ahead! The hotel could offer the best package and driver! Also packed us delicious coffee when we were out of time!AYU- so helpful in the restaurant and was so sweet and cute! Was always asking what can she offer to make us feel better! The smile is everything :)Dyanita, Widana, and Putra: the sweetest people at the treebar! Awesome coffee, food, and service! Very easy to talk to and gave us beautiful flowers!This hotel is definitely underrated, they all speak okay English and is always there to help and make your stay better!
