Maya Ubud Resort & Spa

The staff were very kind and helpful at all times. We really enjoyed staying at the hotel also during the days because of the relaxing environment. There is yoga every day and I really recommend trying it while staying here! The breakfast was plentiful and tasteful!! The spa is amazing is a must try if you visit this hotel! Every treatment we had was so good and we felt very well taken care of!

First of all, the location was beautiful! Absolutely breathtaking no matter how many times you see it. We are a family of 4 and booked the villa, which comes with a king bed, but we were given two singles so we would all fit. Room was decently spacious but you'll definitely want to spend less time there and more time outside exploring. The staff is so attentive and caring and sweet! I had a birthday and the staff checked my files and prepared me a cake as a surprise. Pros -location, once again is absolutely beautiful and you'll never see anything like it. -pools are great, best one is the infinity riverside pool -dinner performances are great and authentic, fun for all ages -spa is so refreshing and by the river -breakfast buffet is tasty and free afternoon tea -amazing hub for activities like Bali swings and ubud monkey forests Cons -food options are limited if you're staying more than a few days you might get tired -not walkable outside the resort, you'll need a cab As you can see, the pros out weight the cons, and you should definitely book a stay! Maya Ubud is amazing!!!

This was a great resort!! We didn't even realize how big life was outside and it was super helpful because we had a week of rain. But they were great to help with ideas to entertain us and the kids. We did an Indonesian cooking class, where Ayo helped the kids become mini chefs. We went to a traditional show and dinner almost every night, when we didn't enjoy amazing room service to avoid the rain. The spa was great too. It was a beautiful resort!!!

We stayed in Maya Ubud for 3 nights and it was like being in the lap of nature uninterrupted.. not any a single thing is in any other colour than natural shades. The feel and views are amazing. Spa and the swimming pool are something to experience - open to the forest!! Food is really nice. The staff extremely courteous and makes one feel served well. Overall a must do experience 🥰

Had a great time at Maya Ubud. Loved the location, serene forest setting, lush and serene The spa was amazing along with the daily yoga classes. Butler service was an added on bonus- our butlers Mei, Rani and overall service staff was very hospitable. Only suggestion is to update the room size for the villas on booking sites as it was misleading. The living space inside villa was much smaller than advertised so that should be mentioned accurately (indoor living vs total villa property).

We had a truly unforgettable stay at Maya Ubud Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the peaceful atmosphere, the exceptional hospitality of the staff, and the beauty of the surroundings. The infinity pool overlooking the jungle was absolutely breathtaking — the perfect place to unwind. The hotel's tropical grounds are incredibly spacious and beautifully maintained, making every walk through the property a serene experience. Our room was spotless, the entire resort was impeccably clean, and the food was consistently delicious. It was the perfect combination of comfort, nature, and luxury. Even though Bali is far from home, Maya Ubud gives us a real reason to come back someday.

This is easily among the very best non-big chain luxury resorts in Ubud. Huge property, fantastic service, large and luxurious rooms, great amenities, superb food... You cannot go wrong staying here. We went in March, and received an upgrade to a villa - always a great start! The villa is spacious, with a huge and very comfortable bed, a plunge pool, outdoor shower, and a view on to the rice fields. Breakfast is a big spread, and it is excellent. There is a buffet with local and international cuisine, and you can also order a la carte. The bar is lovely, and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. Great value for money too - not as expensive as you might expect, given it's at a luxury hotel. Service is fantastic - unobtrusive, super friendly, and very efficient. The people really do make the difference! Overall, highly recommended!

What a lovely experience at Maya Ubud Resort and Spa, we stayed in the Heavenly Villa which was clean and spotless and topped up with complimentary water everyday, had a lovely treatment at the spa too next to the River. Cannot fault the staff so friendly and excellent communication and always prompt and attentive. Thank you to Darmen for last minute help with the luggage, messaged the WhatsApp service and response was immediate. Thank you to all for a great experience within the rainforest!
