Brilliant wee guest house in the west end of Glasgow. Arrived late afternoon, was given my keys and shown to my room on the top floor. I had reserved a single room, shared bathroom and it was perfect for my overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable, a mattress on the softer side which I like, and plump pillows. The room had a smart TV, a desk, a sink, and a kettle. The bathroom was next door to the room. I slept very well, and woke up to the smell of toast coming from downstairs. Breakfast was laid out in the front reception room; a smorgasbord of fruit, cereals (including gluten free), seeds, yogurts, breakfast bars, cheese and meats, and even some delicious looking croissants and pastries. If you are looking to stay in the west end, I would highly recommend the Amadeus Guesthouse. Clean and inviting, attentive hosts and a fantastic location, with a bargain price per night.

We did enjoy our stay here. Wonderfully quiet, but with great access to the centre. A terrific location, with lots of good shops and eating places within easy reach. Comfortable bed and attentive service. What more could you ask for?

Lovely guesthouse with friendly and helpful staff. Nice rooms with boho decor, comfy beds, good linen, desk and a sofa. Great little touches like fresh milk for tea and coffee in the rooms, a basket of apples in the hall, plentiful shampoo, soap and body lotion. Great location with lovely pubs, cafes and vintage shops. I'm loving our stay here.

Lovely, welcoming B&B. My daughter and I stayed in a family room with an en suite on the top floor. It's a lovely old Victorian House so lots of stairs. Room 1 is on the ground floor if you don't want stairs. Great selection for breakfast- no cooked breakfast.

Amazing place to stay in Glasgow with good city location but quiet neighbourhood and very reasonable prices for the accommodation provided. Breakfast was very generous. We had a small problem in our room, and the owner Alexandra was very nice to us about it, accommodated us the best way she could. Many thanks!!!!

Excellent little guesthouse. En-suite rooms extremely good value, free fast low-latency Wi-Fi (they must have changed this since the review saying no wifi 2 years ago). Breakfast served in a nice dining room with low-volume classical musical in the background. Breakfast probably changes, but mine was great - a buffet breakfast. Choice of tea, coffee, orange juice and milk. Choice of a variety of cereals with yogurt and milk, as well as croissants, cold meats, bread buns and cheese (emmental and cheddar). The hosts offered toast to each new customer who joined breakfast, and there was a variety of package jams available on every table. The bed was comfortable, there was adequate heating in the main room and in the bathroom (important for winter in Glasgow!). Had a nice night's sleep. The room itself could have been really basic, but they turned it up a notch with details like embroidered pillows showing plant species (very cool but no idea how they thought of that). There were tea and instant coffee making facilities with a good kettle. A hair dryer was also available. Overall excellent accommodation that I far prefer to larger hotel chain experiences, for half the price. (The nearby Hilton doesn't even offer free Wi-Fi but a rather expensive line - which is what prompted me to look a minute longer for a hotel and I'm glad I did.)
