An absolutely stunning antique shop! I initially came to explore exhibitions in Mayfair and mistook it for a gallery because of its name, “Mayfair Gallery.” When I rang the bell, I had no idea I was about to experience one of the highlights of my London trip. James welcomed me warmly, patiently introducing every piece I was curious about. We had such engaging conversations! The collection is extraordinary—rare, unique, and truly beautiful. Having visited auction houses before, I can confidently say that this shop stands out with its carefully curated and distinctive antiques. I highly recommend this place to anyone passionate about collecting exceptional pieces. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The guy who seems like the owner was extremely rude. I’ve never experienced anything like this at a store. We walked in, was asked if we were looking for anything specific, when we said no, just wanted to shop around, he told us we were not welcome to look at anything in the store since we were “treating it like a museum”. My sister was actually interested in buying something, but after being treated like that we started walking right out. He then tried asking us again what we were looking for, but we decided to leave at that point since we felt very unwelcomed. DO NOT come here unless you want to be treated like trash. Definitely do not recommend to anyone. Seemed very overpriced as well. There are much better antique shops out there.

Do not shop here. The manager is an arrogant jerk. I would have bought an expensive piece or several pieces even, but he was so rude that I did not want to purchase from a shop that treated someone so poorly. We walked in and were greeted kindly by the woman at the front door and then a man blocked the entrance to the back of the store and rudely told us that they were not a museum and to walk down the street to one if we wanted to browse. He assumed we did not have money and practically shoved us out of the store. His mistake and his loss. He could have made a huge sale today but I will take my business elsewhere.

I have no knowledge of antiques but I wandered into the shop out of curiosity and awe for craftsmanship. I worried I was wasting the staff’s time since I had no intention to purchase. The staff was aware and they were super accommodating and eager to chat about their pieces. The collection was gorgeous and impressive — I had just come from the Wallace Collection and seen similarly-crafted works. They recommended books for me to learn more about antiques. It was lovely talking to people who enjoy their work!

Waste of time. Way over priced and the man working there was extremely rude. One tiny bird was 1500£.

Mayfair Gallery has been part of the Mayfair antiques establishment for some time. Recently it has undergone a major image transformation resulting in a tangible elevation in standard of stock, how it is displayed and described and how it is portrayed on its new-look website. Jamie Sinai's hands-on initiative has clearly worked and it pleasing to now see Mayfair Gallery up there in the elite of the London antique emporia.

We live in the alps, Wanting to change our dining chairs became so complicated especially with the added restrictions of COVID-19 and and. Then it all happened with a simple photo and a contact with Jamie , a magic wand was raised. Today our chairs arrived, we are so glad great full and happy, people told us of problems with delivery from England with Covid-19 and Brexit, now I laugh because I know better

One of the best antiques shops that we have visited in London - a real treat to discover this gem in the heart of Mayfair. Extremely professional and knowleagable staff. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The Mayfair gallery is a place which shows the best of the 19th century belle-epoque art; it is a visual feast of creations from the past that is a great joy to see. But best of all you can buy the selections you see at the gallery and it surely would make anyone happy for many years to come. You can purchase all and any items. I loved this gallery the vases, clocks, funiture and paintings were just beautiful. It is a hidden gem in London! However do expect to pay ££££'s for an item, so if you aren't that rich then you can just visit the gallery.
