It was an amazing experience overall. The property is well maintained in each corner. Once entering the property it gave us serenity. Each staff was very cordial, cooperative and helpful. Few of them were outstanding in guest services. Below are the names- Sudip in front desk, Mr. Ranajit, Jyotirmoy, Praveen, Meghna in Restaurant, Sushil, Amar & Divya in Housekeeping and Chef Suman were always there to make our stay memorable. Would like to thank Mr. Giridhari Moharana & Mr. Nibas as well. Lastly would like to share my heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Sabyasachi as well as a captain of the ship.|Shall plan again in future definitely.

Mayfair Darjeeling is beautifully located—just a short 5–7 minute walk from Mall Road and directly opposite the Governor’s House. The property itself is stunning, spread across multiple levels, with each wing and floor offering its own distinct charm.|The staff, from reception to housekeeping to the F&B team, were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. During the peak December chill, they thoughtfully provided hot water bags in addition to room heaters, which made our stay extra cozy.|The F&B service was prompt and courteous, right from the manager to the servers. The food was delicious, with plenty of variety across all meals. The concierge team was also very efficient—our airport transfers to and from Bagdogra were well-coordinated, and the local sightseeing they arranged was smooth and enjoyable.|The only challenge we noticed was that the staff have to climb quite a few stairs while carrying food or luggage, given the property’s multi-level layout. We noticed one elderly staff member managing heavy baggage up the steps, and it made us wish there was a trolley or lift system to ease their load.||Aside from that, everything was flawless. It’s a memorable place, and we look forward to returning soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay at this resort in Darjeeling. The place has such a warm and peaceful vibe — it felt perfect for a relaxing holiday. The staff were really polite and helpful. The location is also great, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to mall road.|I especially want to thank Mr. Manzil who made great drinks and Mr. Sushil for his help during our stay to make sure we were comfortable, and we really appreciate that.

They explained about the amenities like Spa, The Bar, The Gym and other facilities.|The leadership of Resort Manager Mr. Sabyasachi is evident; his calm aura and dedication to guest satisfaction are unmatched. Mr. Ranajit was a standout, ensuring every meal was perfect and even assisting with my content shoot. Long-time staff member Praveen Sir is the heart of the resort, greeting everyone with a smile and he is always there to assist. Not a single moment that you'll find him away as he is actually busy assisting each and every guest. |Dining was a highlight—Chefs Alok and Suman masterfully prepared everything from Tandoor to Continental. Between the bonfire nights and Anjali’s exceptional spa care, the hospitality was the best I’ve ever experienced. If you value history and soul, this is the place to be!

The rooms are tastefully designed, spacious and exude a warm hill-station character, making it a perfect retreat to unwind. Room 401, where I stayed has a balcony with excellent mountain view. What truly sets the experience apart is the hospitality – thoughtful, attentive and genuinely heartfelt. Every staff member ensures that you feel not just welcomed, but truly cared for. The culinary experience deserves a special mention as well; each meal was flavourful, well-curated and a delight to indulge in. The evening live music further elevates the mood, adding a soulful touch to the already magical atmosphere. Whether it is enjoying a cup of tea with a breathtaking view of the hills, relaxing by the fireplace, or simply strolling through the quaint, beautifully maintained property, the resort offers countless moments of peace and joy. Excellent experience with the heritage look & feel of the stay, the service, ambience, food and decor. We had also booked a private dinner for a family event and the way it was organised and managed, we were really WOW'd.
