Mayfair Plaza Motel

For the price, I guess the hotel was not bad. But the doors were incredibly thin and even had a small gap under it, resulting in us hearing everything from outside. It really affected our sleep unfortunately. A hotel should make sure their guests sleep fine, that is the main reason for customers to book a hotel. The rooms should be sound-proofed.

The room was cozy. The bathroom we had was quite spacious. There are slopes for heavy luggage to be carried to upper levels. Staff at the reception counter were exceptionally kind and allowed us to feel comfortable talking to them.

The room was very clean and we had all necessary amenities except for toothbrush and toothpaste, which wasn’t an issue for us as we had brought our own. The studio room and the en-suite bathroom were spacious! Location was superb as well, with Coles right next door and Woolworths, chemist warehouse, etc within few minutes walk. The motel is also surrounded by plenty of restaurants.Overall we were very happy with our stay!

Well let's just say I'll never be staying here again! My room didn't have cold water (not fun when got kids) couldn't shower! When spoke to the manger she did provided a key to go use another room (only for showers) well this is what I walked into 🤮 I'm disgusted by knowing they clean the dishes in the SPA BATH! When I requested a refund she told me no and that it's fine to wash dishes in spa, as spa don't work! I then said lies my friend was in that room with her partner and they have video's of them using spa! She wasn't to happy with that!

The location was perfect. It was close to everything. Shops and restaurants are all walking distance. All the sightseeing places, markets, and the airport are easy to get to by car. Service was excellent, friendly, and helpful. Rooms were clean. We would definitely stay again and recommend this place.

We booked four nights at the Mayfare Plaza in Sandy Bay. Our room was one of the new additions to the complex and provided comfortable sleeping arrangements, A fully equipped kitchenette, a two seater lounge and a TV. Parking was also within metres of our room and easily accessed by an internal ramp that negated the need for heavy lifing of luggage. The bathroom was very good with a large walk in shower.||The accommodation is centrally situated in Sandy Bay with bars and restaurants and takeaway noodle and asian food within the complex. It is about 1.5km from Salamanca Markets. We were driving and parking was easy at the city carpark for about $3.50 for three hours. It was about a 100 metre walk to the market from the parking station. But do remember the Salamanca Market occurs on a Saturday only but get there early as it gets pretty crowded.||Exploring Hobart by car was easy and the drive up to mount Wellington was breathtaking. ||We had a rainy day on the Sunday so we decided to take in a movie at the State Cinema in North Hobart. What a remarkable boutique movie house it is.

We enjoyed our 3 nights here.|Instructions for after hours access was very clear and easy.|Our room was spacious and offered all the little extras to make our|stay comfortable|Reception very helpful and pleasant.||Bus stop is very close by and there’s parking on site.|Lots of restaurants, and shops just out the door and a cosy hotel on site offering|good pub meals.||We would definitely stay here again.

I enjoyed the stay with my children💯 The place is beautiful and the location is very strategic. It is excellent for those who do not have a car 👍👏Just a note🥺I wish the windows had reflective glass so I could see through them.
