Mayflower Society House

Such a beautiful place for my daughter and new son-in-laws wedding!

This house is so beautiful and has a gorgeous garden in the back. When I came it was closed due to Covid 19. But I came here and enjoyed the scenery. Very historic house in a historic town. Must see!

Our guide, Steve, was great. He had so many interesting stories to tell about the house.

The Society restores and saves historical documents for posterity.. The staff answered all of my questions, and even showed me original papers from the 17th century (before the pilgrims landed in the new world.) It's a great place for someone interested in our history.

Would love to come back here and see more, it was closed for the winter. My family has deep roots with a couple of people that were on the Mayflower.

Absolutely miserable experience. A special 2500 mile trip to explore my Mayflower roots ended with an extremely rude employee who exclaimed “I don’t know what you want from me” within minutes of meeting her to ask several questions. Complete turnoff and a ruined visit to Plymouth.

Wonderful tour and wonderful preservation of our country's history. Well worth the time and money invested to see it.

What isn't there to like about a historic house tour with an excellent docent, a brewery doing a pop up event on site, music on the old porch overlooking a lawn scattered with happy people, beautiful gardens and extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff? I've been coming to Plymouth for a few years and yes, I am descended from a few Mayflower families, but I've never made it a point to stop in here. I'm so glad I did! We all really enjoyed the tour (which probably took an hour) and all of the information Marietta (sp?) provided as she walked us through all the rooms. It is a beautiful building and our guide brought it to life as she described the rooms and how they were designed and who lived in them. If you go, take your time as you move through the house. Take in the furnishings and decor and ask lots of questions! The tour is free to members and $5 for non-members. It is well worth several times that!

Lovely house, big porch and lots of history! My ancestors must have walked on this porch!
