Mayo Resort North Bali

A beautiful location to completely unwind. From the garden, the rooms, and the restaurant, you have a breathtaking view of the sea. The rooms are spacious, with good and clean beds. The bathrooms are also generously sized; they show some signs of use but still meet a solid three-star standard. The restaurant is cozy, and the staff are friendly, professional, and very helpful – all of which contributes to a relaxing stay. Highly recommended: take an early morning trip with a local boat, departing directly from the hotel, to search for dolphins. A wonderful experience with an impressive number of dolphins – truly many! 🐬

Mayo Resort in North Bali is the perfect place to unwind and recharge! It's incredibly peaceful and quiet, exactly what we needed. Our villa was beautiful, with super comfortable beds and great water pressure (a small detail that makes a big difference!). Every evening, we watched the sunset right from our balcony, and every morning we enjoyed a peaceful walk along the beach. The staff were so kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the food was excellent too. We truly left feeling refreshed and regenerated. Can’t wait to come back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Mayo Resort Villa. The villa is perfectly located right by the beach, and the view from the balcony at sunset is simply breathtaking – truly picture-perfect. Everything was just right. The entire staff were incredibly kind and attentive. They went out of their way to make sure every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the peaceful surroundings to the excellent service and cozy atmosphere, everything exceeded my expectations. I can highly recommend the Mayo Resort and will definitely be coming back again.

A beautiful, cozy place in the north of the island. The staff is very kind and always ready to help with any request. It’s a perfect spot to slow down and simply relax. I highly recommend the restaurant on the hotel grounds — the food is delicious, especially the grilled fish. I’ll definitely come back here with my family.

Mayo Resort felt like our own private beachfront escape. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with lovely sea views. We loved the pool and stunning sunsets from the open-air restaurant. The staff were warm and very attentive without ever being intrusive - pure relaxation from start to finish. One of the highlights was a great in-room massage we had simultaneously - loved it.

Wonderful escape to North Bali from the busy south. We really enjoyed the quiet and peace of Mayo Resort. The staff we very accommodating, the food in BORA BORA restaurant was exceptional, and the rooms were spacious, clean and we slept very well. Highly recommended for an escape to the North, where you are absolutely oceanfront with spectacular mountain and rice field views. This is the real Bali!

The rooms are very dated, showers that are just a drip, steep staircase in the private villa and tasteless pictures on the walls. The owner is clearly unhappy to be there and was very sharp to my wife. (We downgraded at our own expense, because staircase was too steep). The access road to the property is very narrow, sharp corners and there is a steep hill. It is really in the middle of nowhere and that is a part of its appeal. The restaurant is decent and the local staff are friendly and helpful.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Unparalleled Retreat at Villa Mayo I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Mayo once again, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This was perhaps my 5th or 6th visit, but my first time staying at Villa Putih—and what an incredible experience! From the moment I arrived, Sumitra and the team extended warm and generous hospitality, making my stay an absolute delight. Villa Putih turned out to be a stunning location to both work and unwind. The tranquility was unparalleled—I spent my days working undisturbed, with only the soothing sound of waves in the background. The spacious setup, fresh sea breeze, and serene atmosphere made it an ideal retreat for focus and rejuvenation. A special thank you to the Bora Bora Restaurant staff, who went above and beyond to make every meal an enjoyable experience—delicious food, my special Icey Bintangs, and such friendly service! Leaving was genuinely difficult! Villa Mayo is a true haven, offering a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle.
