Excellent harbor and beach area. Picnic tables are already set up for your use and there are plenty of beach chairs. The bar will serve you the best drinks! You can grill and listen to music played by a local group. They accept voluntary tips but there is no actual charge. They give a nice flavor to the environment. Take some dollars bills to pay for your restroom use. It's clean, but they do charge a minimum of $1

Fun little stop in a fairly crowded cove at Mayreau. There are a number of folks selling embroidered dresses, beach shawls/ cover hood, t-shirts, hats as well as a few cafes where it looks like you can get local cuisine such as heel chicken and probably grilled Caribbean lobster in season. Water was beautiful and the beach was nice although rather commercial. Beach on the backside was a bit more rocky with a fair amount of solar but very picturesque.

Stopped here on our way to a snorkeling spot and I thought it was cute and charming. Only a few hundred people live on the island so tourism and fishing are important. I bought a few goodies from the shops on the beach but definitely needed more cash than I had. Would love to come back by on my next trip over to the islands.

It's great to be back. This is such an unspoiled majestic space. Ideal for a disconnecting and reconnecting experience, even post Beryl.

This is one of our favorite stops when sailing through the Grenadines. The cove is beautiful, shallow and a wonderful place to take shelter on a windy day. "the last bar before the jungle" is nestled at the corner of the cove and makes great drinks for a happy hour before returning to the boat. This spot can get a bit crowded at times, but even crowded is still wonderful. We recommend getting to the island fairly early in the day to get a good spot. The boats can get quite tight in the cove and without fail, even with an early arrival, someone will squeeze between you and the shore! This coved is often frequented by kiteboarders and that’s always fun to watch! The Saltwhistle resort that is nestled on the skinny part of the cove has a bar/restaurant as well with beach chairs for those patronizing their bar. They make some killer drinks and we've heard they make a great dinner but we've always cooked on the boat. Lastly, make sure to head into town to Dennis's Hideaway for a strong pina colada and to the Catholic Church for a view that will blow your mind! The view off the backside of the church overlooks the turtle reserve to the east! This island is a must see on your sailing trip!

This stunning, little island was my first time in the Grenadines. We went there for New Year and camped for 3 nights on Saltwhistle Bay. This was exactly what I needed. I even explored some other parts of the island. And it's located near Tobago Cays, so there you go.
