A beautiful Armenian restaurant. Everything about our experience was great from start to finish! The service was spectacular and the staff was very friendly and super knowledgeable about the menu. The food was mouth-watering. I can’t even choose a favorite item because everything was so good. We got multiple dishes to share and we were impressed by all of them.

What makes Mayrig special is not only the food, but the consistency of excellence: flavors are honest, ingredients are premium, and presentation is thoughtful without being pretentious. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and welcoming, a place where time slows down and meals turn into memories. Mayrig is a must-visit in Beirut. Great food and fantastic atmosphere! There was live music and the vibe was hyped upstairs and chill in the patio. The food 10/10. We got the cauliflower, Mante, Muhammara and the zaatar martini. So so so good! We LOVED all of it specially the cauliflower, even my chicken-loving boyfriend loved the cauliflower. You pay for the flavors but also the experience. Our waiter was very friendly and performed Armenian dancing. So cute! Definitely recommend!

The atmosphere at Mayrig is absolutely beautiful, and the service was impressively fast even though the restaurant was fully packed. The staff were welcoming, kind, and always smiling. I truly enjoyed discovering Armenian cuisine — I think I came to the right place! Every dish had its own story of rich and unique flavors. The Cherry Kebab (Kofta) was very delicious, but I would love to see it a bit juicier next time. It felt slightly dry, and I think it would be perfect if it were cooked with more cherry sauce so the flavors could soak in better. 🍒 Overall, a wonderful experience — can’t wait to come back! 🍽️✨

Mayrig is an outstanding restaurant and easily one of my favorites in Beirut. Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and clearly made with great attention to detail. The Armenian recipes feel authentic and comforting, yet refined at the same time. From the mezze to the main dishes, everything was perfectly balanced and memorable. The atmosphere is warm and elegant and the staff make you feel genuinely welcome. A truly excellent dining experience that never disappoints highly recommended.

We came to this restaurant based on the great reviews and photos, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. The staff was very kind, attentive, and always ready to help, and the design and atmosphere of the restaurant were quite beautiful. We ordered the fishneh kebab, as it was recommended by someone who had visited before and also looked appealing in the photos. However, we didn’t enjoy it. While the cherries were nice, the meat was very dry and lacked flavor. The portion size was also quite small considering the price. For the record, after having dinner here, we felt the need to go to another place to eat again. So I think it is super overrated.
