Mazzarò Sea Palace

We stayed at Mazzarò Sea Palace for our honeymoon and it was the best experience! The food was delicious and the service was spectacular! We spent most of our days at the beach/pool with amazing service from Franco and the whole team - they are awesome! We felt so loved by Carmen and all of the other staff, including the manager who sent us champagne to our room to celebrate our honeymoon. The gym, spa, laundry service and everything was truly spectacular. The service, amenities, location, everything - is truly 5 stars. We will definitely be back!

This is part one of our Honeymoon, and the team at Mazzarò Sea Palace are true professionals. The ‘palace’ itself is beautifully maintained and clean! The facilities including the beach and pool are true luxury. The food is excellent! The room service staff are incredible. So kind and friendly. ||A great big shoutout to Maria-Paola who helped us with logistics! She’s a star! And Carmine is a true gentleman! Nino is a fantastic member of the restaurant team. Not a single person who isn’t incredibly talented at their job. I love Mazzarò Sea Palace especially because it’s right across from the cable car to Taormina city (~2 min walk from hotel entrance and ~5 minute ride). Book it!

This hotel is as close to perfection as it gets. The view is even better than the photos. We loved the fact that you could dip in the sea and relax on the sun beds, then be whisked into the bustle of Taormina town in 20 minutes without having to walk or wait for a taxi. The hotel was very close to the cable car which provided a handy and scenic 10 euro return ride. Yes, the hotel is eyewateringly expensive, but the service was exceptional. The hotel surprised us with a cake and bottle of prosecco for a family member’s birthday. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Twice daily turndown service was appreciated. The only room for improvement would be the service and dishes for dinner at Armonia. Service was slower than expected and dishes not as impressive as other restaurants experienced in town.

Throughout the day, the cleaning crew will help it preserve its elegance and comfort with kind consideration. ||Facing the receptionists in the foyer is the concierge who will be there for you during your stay to make the most of Taormina and Sicily’s most treasured wonders, like a boat tour in hidden jewels hidden in neighboring bays and coves, as well as a private tour with a guide on a Tuk-tuk to follow into the footsteps of Don Vito Corleone. |Available to purchase at the reception are four-minute cable car rides that will whisk you up to the town of Taormina with its charming narrow streets and traditional shops and the outpouring sympathy of its people. ||The Armonia restaurant is one of Mazzaro Sea Palace’s hallmarks where you savor and relish ever-delicious dishes with a breathtaking view of the sea with sweet melodies of Dean Martin, Tony Reis and Sinatra wafting in the soft Mediterranean wind in the evening. Each day has its share of surprising appetizers and deserts. The managers and waiters are exceptional and embody a magic spirit which you’ll find nowhere else. They always stop by and warmly talk with you, making you feel at home. |Down a secret stairway upfront extends the beach on each side with its comfortable, padded deck chairs which the lifeguards will adjust and move as you see fit with waiters from the bar available for refreshments within the blink of an eye. ||In other words, Mazzaro Sea Palace is the dazzling pearl you’ve been looking for!

Beautifully deigned hotel and well appointed rooms. They have thought of everything!! |Service was outstanding and the staff were friendly and very helpful. |Gym facilities were excellent. |The hotel is located just outside of the city centre - you will need to catch the cable car which runs every 15 minutes. |10 minute walk to the famous Isola Bella.||Thank you for a wondeful introduction to Taormina XX

Beautiful updated rooms, all with spectacular balcony views of the water and its own beach club. Great location only a few steps away from the cable cars to Taormina town where all the restaurants and shops are. (It costs 6 euros each way, otherwise it is A LOT of steps to climb). Our only issue was we felt taken advantage of a bit - without notice, they tacked on "discretionary employee benefit service" 5% at checkout and 15% at the restaurant which I hadn't seen anywhere else in Italy. Also, best to avoid their transfers - charged $40 for a 3 mile drive down the road to the train station.

Federica made our stay here so exceptional, we just had to write a review about her and the hotel! ||From the moment we arrived she greeted us with such sincerity and genuineness, we instantly felt welcomed and happy we chose this hotel. She helped us feel settled in our room and checked on us throughout our stay just to make sure we were completely comfortable and pleased with everything. She really went above and beyond. ||The hotel is stunning and Federica is a gem! We will most definitely return! Thank you Federica and Mazzarò Sea Palace, you made our anniversary trip the most memorable one yet!!

Had an absolutely wonderful stay here!! We came with our 8 month old and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. They went out of their way and above and beyond to make this a memorable and special experience full of personal touches, and they made traveling with an infant seem easy! They were so wonderful and kind and made the hotel feel like home. It was a fabulous location and the rooms were great. We will definitely be back!!
