MBK Center is one of the best places in Bangkok for budget shopping and quick deals. It’s huge, easy to reach via BTS National Stadium, and packed with shops selling mobile accessories, clothes, souvenirs, bags, shoes, and electronics. Prices are much cheaper than Siam Paragon or CentralWorld, and bargaining is possible in many shops, especially for phone accessories and souvenirs. The food court is good value, with plenty of Thai and international options at reasonable prices. However, the mall feels crowded and a bit chaotic, especially in the afternoon and evenings. Some shops sell low-quality or imitation products, so you need to check items carefully before buying. The layout can also feel confusing for first-time visitors. Overall, MBK is perfect if you want affordable shopping and variety, but not ideal if you’re looking for a luxury or calm shopping experience. Best for: Budget shoppers, tourists, phone accessories Not ideal for: Luxury brands, relaxed shopping

MBK Center is one of the most iconic shopping malls in Bangkok, and my visit here was absolutely worth it. The mall is huge and packed with a massive variety of shops from clothes, shoes, electronics, and accessories to souvenirs and street-style Thai items. It’s a perfect mix of budget-friendly shopping and amazing bargains. What I really liked is how lively and energetic the atmosphere is. Every floor has something different to offer, and you can easily spend a few hours exploring. There are plenty of food options too from popular café chains to Thai food courts so you never run out of choices. Despite being busy, the mall is well-managed and easy to navigate. The staff at most shops are friendly and helpful. It’s also conveniently connected to the BTS, making it easy to reach. Overall, MBK Center is a must-visit for tourists who love shopping, deals, and variety. If you want the classic Bangkok shopping experience, this place should definitely be on your list!

Came here to shop and ended up spending way more time than planned. There is a huge variety of stores selling everything from clothes and souvenirs to electronics and random finds. Prices are generally reasonable and you can still bargain in some shops. It gets crowded, but that is part of the experience. A good place to explore if you want a mix of shopping, food, and people watching.

MBK Center is one of the most popular and lively shopping malls in Bangkok, well known for its affordable shopping and local market-style atmosphere. It is directly connected to BTS National Stadium station and is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, making it convenient to visit at any time. The mall has 8 floors, each offering a different experience. The Ground Floor mainly has restaurants, cafés, bakeries, cosmetics, and some international food chains. The 1st and 2nd floors are focused on fashion, accessories, shoes, bags, watches, and souvenir shops, where you can find trendy clothing, budget-friendly items, and Thai handicrafts. Bargaining is common in many shops on these floors. The 3rd and 4th floors are popular for electronics, especially mobile phones, accessories, chargers, headphones, gadgets, and repair services. The 5th floor includes lifestyle services such as salons, beauty treatments, massage centers, tailoring shops, and a few specialty stores. The 6th floor has the main food court with a good variety of Thai dishes, street food, desserts, and drinks at reasonable prices. The upper floors are mainly for entertainment, including a cinema and gaming areas. Overall, MBK Center offers shopping, food, and entertainment under one roof and is definitely worth visiting when in Bangkok.

Top 10 places to visit in Bangkok Thailand. If you don’t have time to visit the largest outdoor CHATUCHAK weekend market, MBK centre is similar with a lot of merchants selling local, arts & craft & “fake” brands. MBK has multiple levels of shops with comfortable air conditioning, plenty of restaurants & cafe. Compatible money changer. Ensure you negotiate hard to get the lowest prices for your purchases. It is fun place to shop, you can buy gold jewelry, watches, bags, clothes, shoes, fashions. It is the weekend CHATUCHAK market that you can visit 7 days a week from 10am to 10pm to hunt for bargains.

Massive Mall, lots of clothing and vendors. Mainly carrying high end replica name brands. Fun experience. Bring your bargaining game. Feels more like a high end flea market. You can spend hours in this place.

It's a huge place which you can't really do justice to by including photos, but I have nonetheless done so to give some idea of what it's like. The floor plan photo will be useful to many. Clothing, Electronics, Accessories, Games & Entertainment; you name it, it's here. But be very wary about buying any Electronics from the myriad of small stalls blanketing the fourth floor, go to a mainstream retailer like BaNANA or Big Camera where the products you buy will come with a 12 month warranty. So many fake/copied products; the cheap price should be a warning to you. I bought "fake" Bose headphones which failed after just two charges. It's a false economy, you'll save in the long run by buying from a reputable store because your product will be genuine and will last. Interesting when I asked one of the small stalls if they would give the product a 12 month warranty, there answer was no, only one month. Tells you everything you need to know.

Bangkok has endless malls. And right here in this area there are three huge malls almost next to each other. First there's the Siam Paragon - our favourite mall, mostly thanks to the great food court, restaurants, food stalls and the Gourmet Market. Then there's CentralWorld. Somewhere between Siam Paragon and the MBK Center when it comes to shops and pricing. Then at last the MBK Center, what I would consider the cheapest of these three (not in a bad way). There are still the big brands and luxury brands. But there are lots of bargains to be found. The food court is a pretty good one, also has a good number of different restaurants on several floors. We did enjoy the "Kenshin Izakaya". The best thing about this mall in my opinion you find on the upper levels at the back of the floors. There's this maze of small little shops. Some selling fake brands and stuff. But others just cheap and cheerful clothes and shoes. For real bargain prices. Shirts, pants, sweaters, jackets, leather goods. Real fun just to get lost there and browse. The other two mall do not have that kind of shops - it's what we come to MBK for. Don't miss out on the stalls outside of the MBK Center (ground floor on the left). Especially nice in the evening.
