McCann's Local Meats

This is one of the best places on Earth. I cannot say enough about how superb this restaurant/butcher shop is. It’s a great place to find high-end, locally raised meats. It’s got a factory vibe, with a lunch counter atmosphere. I’ve had the bahn mi sandwich, as well as the steak and cheese. I’ve also had the burger. Service is fast and friendly. You can’t go wrong here!

Really delicious prepared foods. Especially the 2x2x2x2 breakfast sandwich and the pancakes. They also consistently have a very good selection of beer both in the beer cooler, and on tap. I have also really enjoyed all the meat that I have purchased there. The prices on meat are very reasonable when compared to the prices at Wegmans.

My first time here and I will be a regular. The atmosphere is amazing, Kevin, the owner, is right on site and greets customers and the lunch was amazing. What a hidden gem in The ROC!

You simply must go. The food is delightful but even more than that the service is amazing. Kevin has amazing team and he is a clear leader passionate about his craft and in touch with the customer. You will often find Kevin checking on tables and making general small talk with patrons. The cuts of meat are above anything else in Rochester (or I dare say anywhere) staff is knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. You need the pancakes in your life!! We have been fans since the beginning and we are so thankful to have McCanns in town.

This place is a gem. A real butcher with excellent options. We want to try everything in the case. The atmosphere is very cool and food was so good. We bought a lot and will definitely be back for more.

Beef bacon BLT and chili were outstanding. Never had anything here that is not amazing. Staff are all super friendly and helpful.

Club, Pastrami sandwich, and beef fat fries - yes, you read that right - were all amazing!! Will definitely be back to pick up some food to take home!!
