McDonald Theatre

McDonald Theater is the place to catch a show in Eugene. I have been to several shows over the years and it is definitely one of the top venues to see an indoor concert in Eugene. Located in downtown Eugene and there are several parking garages within walking distance. Plenty of food and bar options nearby as well. You can see the stage from pretty much anywhere on the floor. There are two bars, one downstairs with outdoor seating, and another balcony bar with limited seats though. Always looking forward to the next show!

My first visit to the Mcdonald Theater. Attended a New Years Eve concert with the band Floater. So much fun! The lower floor is pitched down toward the stage so it was hard to stand very long, I'm an older guy. They do have a large balcony with seats and it was an 21 and over area, with a small bar upon entry. The staff was nice and helpful. Directed me to the areas I wanted to go to. The best part is there sound system. Not only do they have some big stacks hanging from the ceiling by the stage, they have some great speakers on the balcony level. The acoustics are awesome anywhere we were at. Will definitely be visiting here again.

Nice venue! Awesome employees, great service and even a medical table that gave me a bandaid. Staff was quick to remove anyone who was causing a problem and made it a safe place for everyone to see the show. I can definitely respect that.

We had seen Labyrinth in Concert. The venue was great and the seats were moderately comfortable. We did the balcony and we could see the stage great. Wish I would have known the concessions were cash only ahead of time but they did have an ATM. Good place to see a concert or show.

Loved the show! No fuss with any openers, just straight to the main course!! Also, the slanted floors were amazing. Everyone had a good view of the stage.

Great concert experience! Saw Cavetown and it was the best concert I've ever been to. Also where I was standing had really good ventilation that kept me cool which was great

Eugene is usually skipped over for smaller venue metal bands. So, when we heard Avatar is coming to Eugene??? It was an automatic "we're going!". Been here 1 other time (Ghost) and was pleasantly surprised, but this time, the sound was fantastic! We were in the balcony seats and kudos to the sound engineer (and perhaps updated sound equipment??). Parking isn't bad, plenty of good food/drinks within walking distance. Definitely going back, hope other bands are willing to play here AND Portland.
