McDonald's

Placed a simple online order — just fries — and they had 10 minutes to prepare it. When I arrived, the place was completely empty, no customers, yet my order still wasn’t ready. The staff works painfully slow. By the time I finally got it, the fries were just tossed upside down in the bag. Definitely not the kind of service you’d expect, even from McDonald’s.

Getting food is usually always slow. Here it’s sometimes fast but rarely. Even though I check the food most of the time and almost at least once a while when I go here is to have a missing item. Today, when going, they weren’t even that busy and not many people when ordering the food, and it still took a long time to get the food and there still to be something missing.

Very rude employees and not helpful manager. They have messed up my food multiple times to the point where if I want McDonald’s I drive and EXTRA 10 minutes to go to the one in Maynard. But most recently I order there food online for delivery (over a $20 dollar order including delivery fees, less than $10 on food) from there own app, and they gave be the completely wrong food (I ordered a sandwich and they gave my a completely different spicy version) I wasn’t able to eat ANY of the food they gave me because of my dietary restrictions. And when I called, the manger on duty (said his name was Oscar) REFUSED to give me any sort of refund, or even an apology. He was just straight rude. I wasn’t able to do anything on the app. As someone who’s “special treat” is spending a bit of money on MCDONALD’S. I was disappointed. This location has a lot of work to do, I would suggest going to a different location if you want McDonalds.

I don't give a freak what all you people say. Okay, the people there are so nice, literally, one of the ladies that worked there. She helped me figure out how to work the app. And uh, they fudged up my order. So badly that the lady that I was talking to, she nicely made me a burger by herself. She like handmade it for me. And it was nice. So all of you people saying, bad stuff, be quiet. Your opinion is irrelevant. Good Night.

What a disaster! I waited 20 minutes for my mobile order, so after mentioning that twice to the man who finally brought my order out, he gave me a coupon for a free meal. Normally that's good for me and I don't say anything. Then I grabbed the frozen french fries...

I visited here today and ordered from the kiosk. A kids meal, large fry, and two mcdoubles. It was not overly busy, about 10 people in the building, and it took about 25 min to get my food. The food was good and the store clean, just very dissatisfied with the speed of service. There were at least 4 employees that I could see.

Honest to God, the WORST McDonald's I have ever been to. Took over 30 mins to get a double quarter pounder, burnt chicken nuggets without sauce, and soggy fries. I am speechless.

Worst McDonald's experience I have ever had. My fries were cold and replaced with soggy, refried fries, the soda was sort of flat, my apple pie said to "enjoy by 11am", at 2pm and to top it off I found a long black hair in fish sandwich. I saw another customer returning their chicken sandwich as I was getting ready to leave so this seems like a normal experience here so I will avoid in the future.

Service is always consistent. They did forget to put chicken nuggets and call when my order was ready. Food is consistent for being fast food.

Consistently slow service. Be prepared to wait 20-30 min for your order at peak times. Your order will likely be incorrect on top of an inexplicably long wait.

I live in the apartments behind this restaurant. They have a storage or refrigerated truck in the parking lot. It runs on fuel and the exhaust blows into our building. Stinks up my apartment. Noisy too.

I've had better days at this McDonald's, so I have to report my recent experience. I walked into the store in a hurry. People were waiting for me. I waited a few minutes while I could see people working in the back. No one came to take my order. I was the only customer in the store, except one other person eating in the dining room. I called for someone to take my order, FINALLY, someone came to take my order, but it took them about 7 minutes to finally show up at the front counter to take my order! 7 minutes is a long time when you are the only customer, and there are people in the kitchen, ignoring calls of "Hello? Anybody home? and "Can somebody take my order?" I WAS THEIR ONLY CUSTOMER, AND THEY MADE ME WAIT, i.e. IGNORED ME, WHILE THEY MADE FRIES, OR OTHER ROUTINE WORK, FOR NOBODY IN PARTICULAR! A "fast-food" restaurant cannot leave customers waiting, to do routine chores! There was no excuse for it! There are other good reasons for skipping this McDonald's, including the fact that they have no drive-up window.

This spot is just amazing for getting that quick savory bite of grub just when you need it! I go here all the time with my friends and the service is always great! I recommend that you use the mobile app to order as it is much more convenient. The inside is just dazzling when you enter. Pristine design with crystal clear floors and seating that is perfectly placed. Going here just brightens my day! - Noah

I didn't think it was possible to screw up McDonald's until I moved to Albany and experienced a string of disappointments (charging us for the large fries we ordered but giving us small soggy fries, having many things on the menu unavailable every single time, not including the correct drink... the list goes on). That being said, I was absolutely dazzled by this McDonald's which I probably haven't visited since high school. It's clean, they have transitioned to the ordering on screens and actually bring out your food, the shake machine actually works, they are polite, and the FRIES were perfectly hot and fresh. I was so happy to not be disappointed and will definitely come again. The only complaints I have were that they didn't give us ketchup and something else (straws maybe) so we had to go ask for that, but that's not even a real complaint compared to the ones I've had at other locations. Oh also there was no lettuce in my quarter pounder, but I don't really consider the lettuce at McDonald's to be "real" veggies anyways.

How hard do you have to try to screw up at a McDonald's? Everything is automated and pre-fried. Yet here I sit bereft of the loss of the 6-piece chicken nuggets I ordered. As I waste away from the loss of promised nutrition to sustain me through the cold path of life laid before me I can only make slight noises due to lack of food, cursing the cruelness of life, having stolen the golden greatness that is The Nuggies.

This McDonalds is less than 2 miles from our house but we avoid itwhenever possible. We've been there approximately 10-15 times in the past 7 years (before and after renovations). I've been charged for things I haven't gotten, received stale hamburger buns (on their Big Macs, especially), overly greasy burgers, poor service and long wait times. They are almost always not serving milkshakes (sometimes they say the machine is broken and sometimes apparently they don't have one.) Curbside brings everything except ketchup.

They gave me an uncooked chicken sandwich. They replaced it with another uncooked chicken sandwich. Absolutely disgusting don't eat here you'll be sick.

I am quite a plus-sized individual, so I find myself in McDonald's fine establishments quite often. I have come to be known as a "regular" by the worker, and whenever I walk in, they know they're gonna have to work for their money back in the kitchen. I usually order 3 McTriples with extra bacon, 5 large fries, a 36-piece McNugget, 6 or 7 Mcflurrys, and a McFish. Man I sure do love McDonalds

Looks like this location recently under went a renovation. No drive thru? Front counter is the size of a small street booth. It has a very "closed off" feel about it, not very welcoming like other layouts. Food was hot, however the BBQ sauce I was given, was clearly open and not useable

At 8 am on a Wednesday morning - parking lot and store were both empty. Store was well lit and clean. Looked a bit more cafeish as opposed to hard core fast food joint. Server was competent. Actually understood my order "Medium coffee. Hit. Black". I'm not sure what is so complicated about that, but the average fast food worker typically asks for multiple clarifications. When I'm heading to the chiropractor- this stop is on the right side of 119 - so I think I will give it a few more tries. Coffee. 99 cents. $1.07 with tax. The coffee was hot today.

I went in there at 5pm on a Sunday and was told by the manager on duty that I couldn't order a medium #7, that I could only order a large, which was ridiculous. when I told him that I wanted 2 cheeseburgers and a medium fry and a drink he tried to ring it all separately which was more money than the combo. nobody should be forced to pay for a large.

Took money on mobile app for the order. Made me (and some other customers) wait for 45 minutes in the restaurant. When I asked, was just told rudely - 'the online app is not pulling info'. Nothing else. Had to walk out without food and was charged for the order. When I called Mcdonalds for a refund, was told I will get a call from the owner of the restaurant. No call. So they just took my money and didnt give me anything - like theft. Not going here anymore. Avoid the place.

This is the buns they use to make my order. They just finished remodeling. I thought they will improve their service as well but apparently they are not. If I could give them no star I will.

I woke up and was starving and I decided to get some McDonald's. I googled the closest McDonald's and it said that the nearest location had been opened since 6:30am. I placed an order on my McDonald's iPhone app for an in store breakfast pickup & paid using Apple Cash. I was instructed to select the "I'm here" button on the app once I arrived! I drove all the way there only to find the place in darkness! As a huge corporation, McDonald's can't at the very least update its hours on either google or the McDonald's app?! Let alone update the fact that it's closed is unacceptable and shows a total disregard for people's time! While I was sitting in the closed McDonald's parking lot, at least six other customers pulled in and were obviously as surprised and frustrated as I was. With this pandemic all businesses have had to update their online business listings and had to add/remove/update valuable information for their customers but obviously McDonald's feels as though they don't have to! After all it's been nine months since the start of the pandemic and I shouldn't be able to place an order at a closed location. Get your act together McDonald's!

This McDonald's is not good. Just plain rude too. I ordered food for 3 people. Had about 20 nuggets, a couple burgers and an order of fries. I asked for extra BBQ sauce. We all need some for our food. Yet they give me two and when I asked for more they tell me I can get one more for free then they'd charge me for any more. Not to mention I had already paid for my food at this time. So if you're going to charge me for sauce, give me a receipt! Food was undercooked by the way. Horrible experience.

My daughter became violently ill after we had breakfast there this morning. Her stomach was in pain for nearly two hours and then she threw up all over the house. It was both scary and stressful to watch her go through this. Either her food or the chocolate milk were spoiled. Will never go there again or any McDonalds for that matter. For anyone with kids, please be careful.

When I was hear this evening I was amazed how unorganized and dirty this restaurant was. Also the the workers seemed depressed and not put together, they also were very rude towards me and my girlfriend. The food was like always, ok but the fries we cold and soggy. I recommend it going here.

Literally the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. Waited 15 minutes for food, finally approached the counter with the receipt and was told that the screen said we didn't pay. Once we FINALLY got our food, it was in a bag. We had ordered a meal for "here" they also forgot our CAN of soda...because apparently all the drink machines were broken as well as half of the order screens.

Ordered a large fry and I've been parked in the curbside pickup for 19 min now. Please have someone deliver my fries, it's not very hard.

I went to McDonald's I was displeased with how long I had to wait. I had to wait 20 minutes just to get my food it was ridiculous when I had to come in and make an appointment I will not be going back. Pretty poor ass service very very not happy with them

Can't wait till they reopen after renovations. Hopefully they will renovate the staff too. Update they've been open for about a week now and they still have Mike has the manager who is absolutely great but the rest of them are terrible Mike should fire the whole crew and start over fresh

Crummy service, crap food (even for a McDonald's),clean facility. Ordering a happy meal and a #10 shouldn't take that much effort. I stood there for more than five minutes trying to order and had to tell the poor girl three times what I wanted before someone else finally came over and pointed out what I wanted. I got my order and the fries and chicken nuggets are BOTH stale. Yuck. The only good thing I can say is it's clean... Which isn't surprising considering we were the only customers in here for 20 minutes. I'm guessing their reputation isn't great and this is not a one time fluke.

The surrounding towns (except for Maynard) have this ridiculous law saying that "ONLY BANKS AND PHARMACIES MAY HAVE DRIVE A DRIVE THRU." This has been a ridiculous law for years and years, and I've been surprised that the town has never changed it, especially due to the size of the town itself. Somehow, that horrible Wendy's is allowed to have a drive thru, and it's beyond me as to why they're allowed to, since they are located in Acton. However, I would just like to state that... McDonald's now has curbside pickup!!!!! This has literally been a lifesaver for me, always being in a rush and the kids loving McDonald's so much. I get so annoyed when I have to drive halfway across the world just to get to a McDonald's with a drive thru, and now I don't, because of this awesome new way to get food! Not only is it convenient, but my food was hot, amazingly delish, and the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I waited perhaps a minute after ordering before I got my food brought to me with a smile! Definitely try this out!!!

Was standing waiting to order, and the women taking the order was calling the people in the kitchen incompetent and told one of them to shut their mouth. Complete disrespect and lack of professionalism

Service is very spotty. Food is ok, coffee is descent. The place is small, and noisy, and not usually super clean. Sometimes the staff can be very loud with banter back and forth. As others I remember when Mc'D was a great family place to go.

Do NOT eat here unless you appreciate non food items in your food. Huabanda went to get burgers here (and believe me husband is not capable of offending anyone) and we got what looked like pubic hair liberally added to burgers. Maybe it was just a teen being an a** but I'm sorry that's disgusting. There are people in here saying how nice and clean and unique it is. I am not from this country..this McD's looks like EVERY OTHER ONE I've ever been in in multiple countries. I shudder to think how spoiled the food is or if anyone bothers to wash hands befote preparing food. Seen them prepare meals here without gloves on. Yeah no thanks. Am willing to drive further if need be (if I ever need a McDonald's fix that is)

The worst McD I have ever been to. They got my breakfast order wrong again today. They are out of condiments and have gone long stretches without having certain menu items available. Needs new management. Always slow and always out of supplies.

I never thought I'd be writing a review about a McDonald's. This one is the prettiest McDonald's both on the inside and outside. The building at the new location has a New England cottage look and fits into the Colonial spirit of the town. In the Spring, they have large flower beds of red and yellow tulips. Immaculately clean, you can even have wifi and cappachinos if desired. Props to the owners.

This McD is a disaster! Dirty, slow and rude is best to describe the experience you can expect. The Manager in the morning is especially problematic with his comprehension of what you want as well as the delivery time of when you will actually get it. Takes anywhere between 10 and 20 minutes to get a simple breakfast order!!!! It takes me half the time to COOK IT AT HOME. Really a major, major problem as there appears to be NO TRAINING, NO DISCIPLINE and absolutely no set process to take and deliver your order. This is not the McD I KNEW!!!! I suspect that McD QUALITY and overall reputation is sinking rapidly and this is JUST ONE EXAMPLE of how you will NEVER enjoy McD's food and service like you used to. The good ole days of the Golden Arches are now tarnished forever. It is time - and there is plenty of room - for another chain to make its mark! RIP McD!!!!

I truly consider myself very patient; I don't mind waiting for food, but this McDonalds is so painfully, painfully slow it even bothers me. This McDonalds should not be considered "fast food."

Worst burger, soggy fries, cold nuggets.. seriously is this McDonald's?? If I get McDonald's I want it to be good, not gross, soggy, stale, tasting like it's been sitting out for days. Worst McDonald's I've ever been to!! Do not go , not worth it!! Literally disgusting!!!

Awesome food, very fresh. Friendly staff too. Three stars because the place has been a mess any time I've been in there. Bathroom, drink area, dining room floor... like lunch just happened. But it didn't lol. And it's ALWAYS a long wait. You'd think with no drive through they'd have less to manage! Most uncomfortable seats ever btw... benches are right out of the back of a police cruiser haha

This McDonalds sucks!! Unfortunately for me, my kids ask to come here regularly. The restaurant is continuously slow with filling orders, and generally messes up our order after the long wait. It's also dirty. The bathroom faucets didn't work for at least a year before they were fixed. The garbage cans are filled to the rim every time I come. And the tables and floors are filthy. If McDonalds cares about their reputation, I'd suggest they do something about this place.

About two weeks ago, I was standing in line waiting to have my order taken. The staff was not well organized and did not seem to know how to handle the growing customers. The guy at the register was taking orders and then handling the french fries without gloves. The other employee was in need of a shower and clean clothes as we all noticed by her appearance. The Manager was called to the front to handle a transaction. She processed the money with her gloves on and then walked directly to the back to finish handling the food without changing her gloves. A few of us started talking and then we asked the Manager to come up front so we could get our money back as we did not want to eat food that was now contaminated. She made excuses that she was stressed out due to employees calling out. It only takes a few seconds to change your gloves! This is a huge health food violation. They need to be better staffed and trained on food safety.

Good part: usually fast, no long lines. Food is standard, I actually like the iced coffee there Price of coffee is good too. But I get a look if I only buy a cup of coffee:) Bad part: servers are rude, very. The older guy at the counter chooses to be nice or mean by his own standard... I used to go often, but decided not to.

Most awful fast food experience to date. My wife went in to get a large lemonade. I was in the car waiting for her (90 degrees outside). After at least fifteen minutes, she comes out with her drink. In the meantime, about five people that went in after her come out with their orders. No small orders either, three people had a bag in each hand. With some frustration (almost went into the store myself), I asked how come it so long to order and get one item. She said the attendant apparently forgot about her order! In this industry, this experience is totally unacceptable. This is the last time we set our feet in this restaurant and it will be a while before I go in to any McDonalds restaurant. Come on really? It's 7:45AM on a Sat and I'm the only customer to walk in. Ordered a sausage egg biscuit and sausage egg mcmuffin with TWO hash browns. Comes out to around $9 and I quickly get my food and leave. Get to the office and go to hand out the meal and both sandwiches are cold and there's only ONE hash brown. HOW DIFFICULT IS IT to get the order right when I'm the only one in the store???! Not even going to leave work to get my $1 hash brown since they can't even be bothered to make sure the ONE customer in the store's order is correct or even hot.

The food is usually good and they typically get my order right but one of the employees is very rude, Frederick I believe is the one that I've had issues with in the past. He's typically loud, socially inept and just downright mean. SAD!

When this location first opened it was a nice spot, but it has taken a major turn for the worse. The employees would rather talk to their boyfriends or gossip among themselves than take my order. They have trouble understanding the most basic order and they made multiple mistakes. I left without my food because I thought they might spit in it. Don't they train their staff better than to whisper to the person working next to them in front of a customer? Worst service I have ever experienced!

This is a great place simply because of the staff. There are so many friendly people there. The morning shift has amazing people as does the night shift, in particular Brian who makes our day every time we go there. It's amazing how happy and friendly all of the staff is. I recommend it to anyone solely based on service with great personalities and smiles.

This is the best McDonalds my wife and I have been too. I've noticed a lot of new faces and not seen some of the people I've been used to seeing which is not good for a retail front end. One girl used to bang our orders very quickly. The food is good but I don't like that they shrank the shake size but its still the best McDonalds around.

This place is a fantastic family restaurant the kids enjoy it and it has spectacular chicken nuggets and burgers and amazing Big Macs and as long as u don't tell ur kids how the food is made from chicken balls and cow dick ur kids will have a great time!

This McDonald's stands out from most in the uniquely stuck up attitude of the staff. I'm familiar with fast food places where the people that work there aren't motivated and convey that. Can't say I truly blame them. But at the Acton McDonald's you get a distinct vibe that the staff feels they are above waiting on you. It is also poorly laid out. There is a decorative wall that keeps more than 4 people from waiting in line yet one section is pretty wide open with only a couple of high tables. Other than that, it's a McDonald's.
