I ordered inside and ended up waiting with a couple other people for over 40 minutes for my breakfast food. When I received it, my coffee iced coffee was half melted, the hash brown was cold and soggy, the sausage egg McMuffin was fresh. There were at least 10 people waiting for their food when I walked in at 10:15 AM. I ordered my food at 10:20 AM and didn’t receive my food until 10:51pm. I asked to speak to the manager, and I was told one second as the lady turned around and started doing something else . I spoke to the“manager”, a different lady who said she was the manager. I told her it was ridiculous to wait this long for food and I would like my money back. So she went to go talk to someone else the first.”manager” I spoke with who pretended not to be the manager. At this time, I have recorded a video and took pictures of the whole congested scene and lack of management. I asked the manager for my money back and I wanted to keep my food, she went to go talk to someone and never came back. I had a doctors appointment and I had stopped into this restaurant yesterday for something to drink and stood in line for 15 minutes then eventually walked out because their service was so slow. I tried to order on the do it yourself screen and their printer was out of paper so I couldn’t give her my order ticket. Overall, their service is horrible. The management is laughable and needs to be fixed. Myself and others shouldn’t have to wait 40+ minutes for a sausage McMuffin with egg and a medium iced coffee. I also should’ve been compensated for my time.

Stopped by McDonald’s for a quick meal and it was exactly what I needed! I grabbed a Big Mac combo, and the burger was fresh and tasty, with perfectly cooked fries on the side. The staff were friendly and the service was fast, even during a busy lunch rush. The restaurant was clean and well-organized, making it easy to grab a quick bite. A reliable spot for classic fast food when you’re on the go!

If you offer table service like the other McDonald's, then do the same service. If I ask for ketchup don't make me go to the counter to get it, especially since now I have to leave my food unattended and worry about a vagrant having my food. Also, table service should include my drink order being filled and me not having to get up from my table to fill it. Every other McDonald's I have been to fills your drink when ordering table service.

Not a good experience, customer service was not good they gave me stale cold fries not fresh at all, happy meal did not come with a drink, I ask for 2 sauces they got it wrong and charged me for the ones i asked for I don't mind paying as long as I got what I payed for right? But got charged anyway I am not an angry type person but I will put in my statement of my experience, it was not a good service at all.

The restaurant is clean and speedy. Our order has always been correct and the perfect temperature. We really enjoy this location because of the people that work here most of all - like Mikhael.

Placed an order on mobile app. I get to the location and they say the system is down. So why would the order place and charge me. Window person tells me to just cancel order. It did not let me saying it’s to late since it’s being prepared already. Instead of just asking what was the order and making it. I had to order something else and then end up asking for order number again just to get order wrong!? Terrible communication and horrible problem solving skills.

They forgot my frappe then gave me a 3 piece tender when I paid for o 4 piece the sauces were wrong and I had a sesame sex bun on a McDouble

Our food was very cold. Fries felt like they weren't even under a warmer for about 30 mins. Our big macs one had so much sauce it was pouring off with each bite. My big Mac had light sauce but was so dry I couldn't barley swallow it. The bread(buns) were hard and cold. I've never had food that cold and dry from any fast food.. EVER

Yikes, this drive through is horribly slow. I made the mistake of choosing the drive thru option for my app order pick up. It took 25 minutes to get my order. While at the pick up window, you can tell that there was confusion with orders amongst the workers. Once I finally left, the drive through line was well into the street. Fries and nuggets were cold and sad.

The food was normal McDonald's food.the service is horrible I went up 3 times one because they forgot to give me my drink 2 they didn't give me any of the sauces I asked for I only asked for 1 barbecue sauce. And I don't know what ambiance is but probably bad

Neede more staff working the front on Thurs at 9am. I waited 15 minutes and my food wasn't ready. I had to abandon it so I wouldn't be late for work. There were 10 other people waiting with me and it seemed like there was only 1 person working the front.

Clean location! You can order from the kiosk or at the front. To drive-through line was pretty packed but service quick when you walked in.

I get it, fast food is a tough job, but when the people doing the service are mean or rude, it's time to go. Whoever was working the drive through around 2:15pm thinks it's ok to bark at you when you can't hear her mumbling instructions. Familiarity breeds contempt. I won't be eating here anymore.

Good service. Freshly made food. Decent prices I would return to this McDonalds because they treat their customers well and the prices are reasonable.

They accept Mobil orders when they aren't even open. Rude employees. Give wrong information about canceling Mobil orders

This location is so so so slow . 30-40 minutes for fries is insane. The fulfill out of order.

This is a sorry McDonald's on the evening shift the workers act like they don't want to be there the food is always cold or something missing out of my order every time so check your order thoroughly before leaving Because u will have to drive all the way back for them to correct it and the attitude they give u like u done something wrong WOW Also you will have to drive back because the 2 phone numbers on google or the receipt 1 the mailbox can't take anymore messages the other number is out of service neither one rings so corporate doesn't know I will be calling in the morning corporate but never going back to this one I will in the morning to complain in person

I like McDonald's but this one was bad on all counts. Long wait tines, broken order machine, and no table delivery as it said. But to top it of to earn this attention, burnt and flavorless mccrispy chicken. So bad, I need to find something else to cover up the lingering taste

I ordered through Grubhub, and they didn't provide me with ketchup or utensils; the fries were cold, no salt, and nasty.

Close this one down! My greatest advice is CHECK YOUR FOOD! They do not check to ensure you have all of your items. It is VERY seldom that I have received my hood correctly. The drive thru is a terrible option, going inside is a terrible option. At the drive thru there is one person working both systems but taking the orders out of turn. Inside they are rude and all over the place. Trying to get ketchup is like asking for the Krabby Patty secret formula. They always lie and say it's in the bag. It's not very clean either. Drinks are often flat and burger buns are often stale. They need new management. The my downsized the staff and walk-in area which may be the biggest problem. The North side has tue best McDonalds and service. Edit: I drove back around to get my fries and the cashier almost gave me someone else order. The little man with the thing braids inside went to get ketchup but then when he went to hand it to me he said there was ketchup in the counter, and then threw it back. One, I can't see that if the waiting area is crowded and it is on the other side of the register. It should have been in my bag like the cashier stayed but it wasn't when asked! The only positive statement I have is the woman who seems the be the manager with the long nails is very professional. She seems to be running the place on her own.

You shouldn't have to ask for napkins and ketchup when you order food and a large fry. Then, of all people a Mexican lady gets an attitude when asking. Receipt# 1236, 12/23/2023. Try retraining your employees and let them know that customers pay there salary.

I'll admit I'm really trying to phase out too much fast food, but I do like McDonald's coffee, which I don't consider fast food. I was at the nearby Advocate Sykes center, and I had to fast for some blood tests. When I left and was 'free to eat and drink' I ran by here to grab coffee and a muffin. It had a few 'patrons' and no line. They were friendly and efficient, but not a place to sit and enjoy, unless you want to be approached by peddlers. In this immediate area they are the only place for food, barring McCormick place or the nearby Hyatt.

This McDonald's isn't bad but it also isn't great. If you're in the city it'll be tougher to find a great McDonald's like you'd find on say a road trip out of a major metro area. This one was better before covid, when there would always be people flowing in and out from McCormick Place's various conferences. TIP: go at off peak times for a way shorter wait. If you go between 11:45 am and 1:30 pm or so the place is going to be swamped, sometimes with a drive thru line all the way back out to the street. Curb side pick up isn't bad but they usually take closer to 10 minutes instead of the 5 that the app suggests it will take, at least from the times I've went.

terrible service. manager rude. went in to pick up uber eats and they said they didn't have the order ready. waited five min to find out they never logged into to their app while they made me wait 10 min

Yes, poor service, dirty tables and dirty floor filthy bathroom. It looks like the floor had not been marked in weeks. This is unacceptable. The manager should be ashamed.

This McDonald's either don't have it or not sale it, every time I go here it always a problem. I learned to just order through the McDonald app, it quicker and cheaper. Plus you know what's they have or not, it always pack as it sit off the highway and by the McCormick place.

please update times. this restaurant frequently closes early. never true to closing times at high peak times.

This is the closest outdoor McDonald's near McCormick Convention Center and I stopped in to grab a quick bite, "quick" was what I thought but ended up a 30 minute order. It was around 7:30pm CST so they should have full staff during that time. I ordered a couple happy meals for my nephews and I ordered a hamburger. There were other people waiting also and a couple asked to see a manager and they told that customer, that the manager was not onsite. Finally I got my order in 2 individual orders for dine-in. I got the happy meal without the drinks and toy. 5 minutes later, I got the sandwich with no fries and drink. Must be a new process, I usually get the entire order on a tray with all items and this entire order in less than 10 minutes the max. One good thing is there are plenty of parking which surprises me the amount of people waiting for their food.

Drive-thru took almost 40 minutes lol. 11/21/2022, 5:37pm. Order #94. Receipt #1294. Hope management sees this. Got my food at 6:20pm LOL. Fries were deeply re-fried, not fresh. Staff did not apologize for the delay, and made the same old "we're understaffed" excuse. Avoid during normal business hours!

I normally don't leave a bad review, but this location needs one.. So it says the drive thru is 24/7.. but the ppl inside, beg to differ.. no service before 7am.. I'm assuming.. I was there TWICE, at 640am and at 652am.. and still NO SERVICE.. Now, they could've been short handed, which happens to all of us, but they had sign that said anything, to let us know what was going on.. I wasn't alone.. there were 2 cars ahead of me and 2 cars behind me.. we all just drove away.. and as you pass the drive thru window, not a soul in sight.. even though, there were 4 parked cars in their lot.. STILL, not a soul in sight.. I love McDonald's, who doesn't.. McDonald's needs to re-staff this location, to keep this location here.. SOMEONE FIX THIS PROBLEM..

Fifteen minutes and still waiting for my order. This place is trash. Certainly not fast food.

Worst McDonalds in Chicago. Service is terrible. I walked in and waited 30 mins for my order to be taken. It took so long because 3 people were returning or complaining about their food. They are always out of common menu items today. They were out of 3 different drinks the customer in front of me ordered. I have tried to order icees and ice coffee in the past and they were out. Terribly Managed business!!!

Cheapest McDonald's I ever been to they don't give free refills on drinks I thought all McDonald's give refills smfh Never would come to this place again

The husband and i enjoy the biscuit and McMuffin breakfast sandwiches. Now that they are served all day we drop by and get them frequently. Breakfast sandwiches are very good. McDonalds is McDonalds. Very consistent and, hence, reliable.

I came at 5 AM on a Saturday to order breakfast set at the drive-through for 20 minutes with no answer then when I called the manager had an attitude and said they weren't open cause he didn't have crewmembers seems like she was overwhelmed and frustrated but could've at least came to the intercom sooner before I had to call

I came here on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm. The place was packed, but I was hungry so I opted to wait. When I got to the cashier, she had a major attitude and THEN didn't even get my order right. I ordered for six people, and it was like she was upset that she had to take a long order. I understand people have bad days, so I didn't say anything to her about it. But as we waited (forever might I add) for our food, I watched this young lady just treat customer after customer so badly, it was just too much. Some people even left. After inquiring about missing items, we eventually got the rest of our order. I'd say I spent a little over 30 mins here in total. So much for FAST food! :-/

Please look at your receipt they charge me $8.20 for fillet a fish where you can go anyplace else and get to fillet a fish for $4 this is a rip off

This is quite possibly the worst McDonald's in earth's history. I will say... For the handful of times I've been here for breakfast, it's always been a pleasant experience. The breakfast crew knows how to hold it down. However, I can't say the same thing about their night crew. They will not fail to give you painfully slow service, unwelcoming interactions, and messed up orders. At least they are consistent... There's been a few times I'd drive by, thinking I would do a late night McD's run, just to see all the lights turned off. Why are all the lights turned off? The sign out front clearly says 24 hour drive thru. It reminds me of Halloween when some people would turn off their house lights so that others think they aren't home and that way, they won't have to give out candy. Like... I see your cars parked in the lot... I know you're in there! One time at night, I was waiting in the drive thru for about 15 minutes (long line) before I got to the intercom. It takes about 10 more minutes before they take my order. Finally after 20 more minutes of waiting, I get to the window just for them to tell me their credit card machine is down and they are only taking cash (who carries cash around anymore?). No accommodations. No apologies. Just a "The machine doesn't work. Cash only." You could have told me that in the beginning and saved me all the painful waiting... TLDR: If you like to get your will and patience tested, come here often! Otherwise, look elsewhere for your McDonald's cravings.

Surprisingly clean and new-looking (even though it's not need), as McDonald's goes. Women's bathroom was clean, too. (Look, it's a fast food chain. We all know what the food is like. Reviews are about cleanliness, service, and maybe parking. Oh, there's adequate parking.) Has a music and black history theme to the decor.

Worse McDonald's I've been to in Chicago. Frappe machine always down. Ice cream machine always down. Workers have such nasty attitudes at night. Employees at this location barely want to be at work and take their frustration out on the customers. General manager just as lazy as his managers. Drive thru never moves. You'd be sitting there for over 15 minutes just to get the wrong damn order or cold food. They over charge you for everything even a cup of damn water. Not even 24/hours anymore. Use to be the most convenient McDonald's in the area but now they might as well knock this location down.

You're not doing your best when you give people just anything in there bag. Pay attention to the details. Total wrong order delivered.

Such a sad McDonald's! The site says open 24/7 I pulled up and no one was at any of the windows when I saw them inside and no one came out to help. I honked my Horn and nothing!! Every time I come to this location it's a horrible experience ! Only reason I will some times come it's because it's the closest to McCormick place.

NOT OPEN 24 HOURS! I was super hungry tonight around 3am, and online, it says this McDonalds is open 24 hours. I showed up around 3:30am, and the door of the McDonalds even said open 24 hours. Well, they're not. I finally walked around to the drive thru window and was informed that they close from 3-5am. It should probably say that online, as well as on the door...

Starting to feel like you "don't have" frappés when your busy. How is it I can get hot coffee but not a frappé, at 9 a.m. Sounds pretty lazy to me.

Saturday, August 4th, 5:15am. I drive through. Order a large French vanilla latte hot. It sucks! Doesn't taste nothing like it is suppose to. I have ordered it before from different locations and the taste, of done properly, is exquisite. (Yes, I said exquisite to a McDooDoo coffee) Sunday, August 5th, 5:09am, yes...I came back to the scene of the crime. (Face in palms) I sit at the drive through for about 3 minutes until the lady voice says "Sorry but we are closed". I ask "What time do you open?" Lady voice "Well, 5am but we are 15-20 minutes behind". Wtf?! So I wait and order the same shit coffee as yesterday plus a biscuit, egg and bacon (I wanted that puss swine) samich! It takes them for freakin' ever to make. I think they waited for the eggs to be laid and they slaughtered the pig to cut the bacon. Hmm. Hm. Let's try this again (yes I care back a third time...hopefully they can redeem themselves. Haha!) Monday August 6th, 5:11am. Waited 2 min in a drive through speaker. No answer. So I backed my ass up, drove to the other side. No answer. Another car pulls up to the speaker I just left and she was able to order?! Wtf?! I waited another 4 minutes but to no avail. I drove off. As I drive around the car in front of me, there were 3 cars waiting by the pick up windows. HORRIBLE SERVICE. It should be better. This is the universe telling me "Bro! Stop this McDooDoo stuff!" Advice and guidance heeded. I'm done.

I hate to pile on this sad McDonald's....but I have no choice. I walked here from McCormick Palace. The area right next to this McDonald's is under HEAVY construction. It was a nightmare just to get to this place. Once there...it is an old and sad looking spot with furniture right out of the 80's. The " help " was indifferent and otherwise as engaging as a cadaver. Ordered the " new Grand Mac " which was a HUGE disappointment to say the very least. Put together by some angry droid it looked like it had been shaken AND stirred. The burger....where do I begin. Enough lettuce to almost qualify as a small side salad....the meat was of an unusual texture that I cannot identify. BUT THE SAUCE....my goodness...SO MUCH SAUCE...and said sauce was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET....my goodness. Horrible barely covers it. Fries were typical fries from McDonald's....mercifully they have not figured out how to butcher their famous fries. It was St. Patrick's day 2017...it was after lunch...not that crowded in the place...restaurant was not filthy...but did not sparkle like a restaurant should. Did not bother awakening any of the counter droids as they did not seem to care much. BUT...I remembered to call McD's H.Q. to tell them how sad their spot in Chicago was...and the phone droid was about as concerned as the counter droids were. Compare that to my experience from a day earlier then I went to Shake Shack and had a great burger...TERRIBLE fries...and a milk shake that was not even blended....I called their hotline to let them know I was none too happy...and the lady on the phone was interested, engaging, and even sent me a gift card for taking the time to tell them about my issue. And McDonald's wonders why their market share is dwindling and customers are leaving in droves. Say it ain't so Ronald.

Pretty typical McDonald's, except no refills on sodas. The only reason I am reviewing is that while standing in line, I saw five of seven orders made incorrectly and brought back to the counter. wow, even for McDonald's that's inefficient. They were frugal with the ketchup packs as well, let alone the toppings on the burger. It is no wonder Chick-fil-A and Jimmy John's are up-and-coming. There is a bright spot. The location is well-kept, and an older gentleman was Johnny-on-the-spot to clean the tables as diners departed.

This McDonald's is trash!!!! Their ice cream machine was down and along with their frozen machine..They didn't tell us until after we paid that everything was down! Their cashier in the drive through was on the phone talking on the phone. They have me a non frozen drink even though the machine was down. Never go to this location!!!!! Even their pop machine wasn't working.. they gave us flat soda!!

I know I know...who writes a review for McDonald's? But when you have a long strand of HAIR in your breakfast sandwich you kinda feel like you need to warn other people.... I think that's my punishment for eating there in the first place after a long stint of avoiding the franchise. I mean come on it's not even real meat.

If you have a choice, go ANYWHERE else. Staff is rude and condescending. NO REFILLS on drinks period. I even asked to see a manager to ask why. He just said, "We don't do that here. Buy another drink."

The rudest place to come to eat and they're racist. I come here because it's close to home but I always have a bad experience. I wait months before I go back and every time I come back I'm always treated poorly. I come in and the only customer waiting to place an order and there's two managers just standing around talking and laughing and didn't take my order, the person that was taking orders just walked away to go stand in a corner and not do anything. I will not be eating from here again.

I like this McDonald's it is clean, the cashiers are nice and the food is fresh! I don't have any complaints and its not a McDonalds that I frequent that often but when I'm in the area I do go to and like this restaurant!

Went yesterday and the staff was very nice. My food was nice and hot. The problem im having is I open my burger and its hair in my food. Very distasteful.

I live between two McDonald's locations, it would be a toss up as to which one is closer, in any event I choose to make this one the go to place. Compared to the one on 35th., it's cleaner inside and out. They maintain the grounds, and the parking lot is free of trash. They get my order right 99% of the time, and I prefer their items over Burger King, you're either one or the other. I've also learned from experience you marry someone that prefers the other. Hey it's fast food, odds are it's going to taste the same, so reviewing it isn't going to tell you anything you don't know about the food. What I can tell you is this one is pretty clean and efficient. Maybe something to do with being located by McCormick Pl., you have to figure on the conventioneers having some standards. The one on 35th., seems to cater to the neighborhood drunkies that wouldn't notice if their order was wrong.

Good to order online delivery. Make sure they don't cheat on order. Such as, ordering cookies or pies. They may run out late in evening. Otherwise, they are the best.
