Stopped at this location and ordered nuggets, fries, and water. The food was hot, but they messed up on my drink. I ordered water and they gave me soda. Worst of all, my fries had hair in them. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I had to return to lunch from my lunch break and was not able to return. I WILL NEVER RETURN!!! ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING THE WINDOW!!!

I just left here through the drive through. I ordered 6 piece nugs with honey mustard sauce, a double cheeseburger, a Mcdouble, medium fries, and a mango pineapple smoothie. I left and I was not given the honey mustard sauce and the Mcdouble was not a Mcdouble at all. They gave me a chicken sandwich instead. I feel like I was ripped off. Especially if the Mcdouble cost more than the stupid salty chicken sandwich they gave me.

Another high traffic McDonald's in Hayward. They are literally right by the exits for 880. One downside is The food seems like sometimes it sits under the warmer for far too long. Every time I've gotten chicken nuggets from here, they're on the smooshy side rather than the crispy. Breakfast sandwiches are always amazing. One of the few places when you buy a filet-O-Fish the cheese is not half. Dropping off the sandwich. Always a big perk. Customer service is amazing. All the associates I've ever come in contact have been extremely polite and accommodating. I would recommend for this location through the mobile when you're in the parking lot and do curbside. The drive-thru line is always long. Curbside seems to be a better deal, especially if you order when you're already in the parking lot. The food seems to be fresher rather than smooshy atmospheres expected

They always to seem to either miss something in my order in the drive thru or try and give me food that's been sitting too long! I always have to ask for my Food Fresh because otherwise they give you Cold food or lukewarm food ! Especially the Fries 🍟 I'm always having to pull to the side just to get hot Fries 🍟

This McDonald place the first thing you noticed once you enter is the stench coming from the homeless person that always loiter inside. This is my 3rd time coming here and the homeless person always there. How can you have an appetite after smelling something stinky? I always eat near the playground when I eat there so I can't smell the stink but I can't eat there anymore. Disgusting.

Came here because I was stuck in a bind. My toddler's lunch was already running so behind and her cousins were also in need of a meal. Luckily for us, this particular McDonalds was located about 2 miles away from where we were. Food was prepared correctly and the personal requests made weee not overlooked. All of the kiddos and adults didn't have a single complaint regarding their meals. 4 stars because the staff was kinda shady with the sweet & sour & BBQ sauce. Lmao.

I'm still a little Kid at heart !!!! McDonalds was a Big Deal when I was Growing up!!! They were the Number One Fast food chain!!! And All the Cool Kids ate there !!! Here I am an Adult now and I still get a gas out of eating there. I stopped at the McDonalds on A Street !! It's Nice and Quiet and Clean!!! The Food is still pretty good !!! I ordered a Large Coke , Double Cheeseburger and Fries with an Apple Pie tart!!! It was under $10 dollars a Bargain in the Biden Era inflation!!!! My food was ready in 10 minutes Piping Hot Ready to go!!! I got my Grub on and it was Delicious so I went and Ordered 2 more Double Cheeseburgers !!! They delivered them to my Table with a Smile and a Thank you!!! I wolfed them down and was literally Stuffed like a Thanksgiving Turkey lol Service was Friendly and Efficient!!! This is a Baller On A Budget Approved Establishment!!!!

Quality/Quantity - Consistent. I usually only come here for coffee, typically for my second cup of the day. Now I only shop here for the fries; it is the only thing I currently crave with this brand. Atmosphere - They did a good job with this remodel. Double drive thru now. Inside is modern and friendly, including the kids play structure. Self service kiosks. Need a code for the bathroom. Open 7 days a week, see my picture. Yelp hours and your website hours differ. Parking can be a challenge. At times it gets bottlenecked due to the drive thru. Service - The team members were helpful. Price - Sorry, didn't write it down, see picture for the menu. Typically a good value, especially if you participate with their promotions. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 1954 and thanks for always being here for me when I used to shop the Business Costco up the block. Congrats on all your success since 1940 and being a part of the S&P 100. As of 2020, McDonalds has the 9th highest global brand valuation. If you have not seen the movie "The Founder," you definitely should. :)

If only I can give negative stars. . . Very specific order, cheeseburger. No pickles, No onions. Staff acted like they know nothing on how to use the app. To the manager.. please train your people. 1. When an order specifies that no onions be put on the patty. Make sure no onions are on the patty. 2. When cashier and crew member just answer your question with " I don't know", better teach them how to answer the question. 3. To the one assembling the bun. Have your manager teach you on what to do when you burn the burn. "Replace the bun with a one that is not burnt". 4. Debating if I will go back to ask for my money back. What are the odds they will pay for my gas?

Service here is worst than others. My family and I came here on Friday 5/31/24 around 10:02p. We went through the drive through and provided our code for our food discount. When the lady provided us our order the discount didn't apply and stated that it would only be used towards our points. (This is when the manager came and told us) That didn't seem right so we cancelled our order and ordered through the app, which we were able to use our code and the price was correct. Once we mobile ordered our food and sat by curbside, the order should have been out from 2-4 mins. We waited over 20 mins only for an employee to come out while using the restroom tell us curbside isn't available and we have to go back through the drive through to pick up our order. Now that the line has about 12 cars and it's about 10:30p.. and we have to get back in line to get our order. We finally got our order/food about 15 min later. I can understand why this place gets a 1.5 stars. Clearly this location had a lot of work to do to boost the ratings. We wouldn't be coming back.

I have come here twice in the past week and both times the employees here say that my mobile app code "doesn't work". Which is very upsetting considering it's the first thing they ask you before they even greet you. Don't know why McDonalds even offers the app if the location won't learn the system or just refuse to troubleshoot the code until it works. Won't be coming back to this location again.

Placed an order and paid for on the McDonald's app. The workers here said they couldn't find my order and wouldn't give me my $5 order even though I showed them the app and that I paid for it. Lost money, time, and gas driving here. Now I have to file a chargeback with my credit card company because the workers here are trash and useless. I would be ashamed at myself for working at this location because they are all so useless and can't help customers at all.

I ordered through the mcdonald's app, went to the call box, and the man told me to go to second window? usually they will confirm your order at the first window. I past the first window and I GOT CHARGED FOR 50 DOLLARS WORTH OF FOOD THAT I NEVER ORDERED. I ordered only a happy meal and a burger? went to the second window, they told me they didn't have my order! went inside asking what happened to my order and why i was charged for so much. they refused to talk to me. customer support was not helpful either. i walked out with no food or a refund. as the reviews said, worst place to go! recommend any other mcdonald's place than this one!

This is rare that you actually get nice people with good service at McDonalds. This one on A street has that unlike the other one near mission. The restaurant is clean and has a remodel play area for kids.

I've never had a bad experience at the McDonald's. Consistent McDonald's quality food. You either like it or you don't. I don't love it, but eat it once in a while and am not ashamed! Parking is fine, drive through moves at an acceptable pace. Restaurant is always clean. Staff are normal. I like the self ordering system. Although every time I use the self order and want to eat in, they never give me my food on a tray. Pricing in general for McDonald's is expensive. But it's hard to blame them, they are always busy and people pay it. I either get a quarter pounder or sausage McMuffin with egg. You can pay less at In-N-Out and get a burger that is much better. Their fries are always the best.

I went here about a week ago. And ordered french fries and a mcfrappe When we got our fries they were cold We had eaten one or two so I brought them back not inside a bag. I downloaded app and went to this McDonalds. I gave the 4 digit code and lady said pull around she has to scan the barcode. She scanned the barcode then had to call for the manager because computer wouldn't take the barcode. The manager said barcode expired, I asked how when it says 7/3/2022 expiration and he was so dismissive to say I don't know call the app..you want or not. The manager was a rude jerk, if you participate then honor the app offers jerk and fix your computers or you go call the app!

I ordered 3 meals through the drive thru and they didn't give me any sauce and just rushed me out. When I went to go inside to ask for sauce they were trying to make me pay and say that I have to buy a meal when I already told them that I was just at the drive thru and I bought 3 meals like 5 mins ago. This Has to be the worst McDonald's I've ever visited. Whenever I called to complain the manager is never there and I know employees are lying. On two occasions I have placed orders on the mobile app and they claim they can't find it. Today one of the employees at the window lectured me about knowing how to use the app before you come to McDonald's. Are you kidding me the girl can't even speak English and she was lecturing me. I just came here to grab a quick McDouble and small fries. My fries were fine but when I bit into the burger I noticed there was a green bug on the onion so I pulled back into the parking lot and went back around to the window (mind you I had JUST pulled out of the drive thru). When the manager asks me what's up and I was done explaining that I was literally just there and that there was a bug on my food he has the audacity to tell me that "the burger is fresh and [I] had maybe put the bug on my food when I opened it" I looked at him in disbelief because WHY THE FUCK WOULD I COMPROMISE MY OWN FOOD?!?! Geez Honestly, to me, it was a simple fix; apologize, ask if I needed anything and offer me a new burger but nooooo I was blamed for something I didn't do and I get no apology. That's what bothers me most about this whole situation.....smh Oh, also, the girl at the second window with the blonde hair and the black hair underneath it all is soooo RUDE. She handed me my food right off the bat and didn't even ask me if I wanted any sauces or anything. This review is for 355 W A St, Hayward, CA 94541. We understand that things happen and that everyone makes mistakes. When you make a mistake however you should own up to them when you do. We placed an order via the mobile app that was fulfilled incorrectly. The manager Juan was extremely comfortable not offering any assistance and made us feel not welcome. We're paying customers as well but kept getting ignored for customers in the restaurant (we picked up from the drive thru). Bad experience and won't eat at this location again.

If I can give this location zero stars I would. I don't usually go out of my way to write negative reviews on places, but what they did the other day Pissed. Me. Off. I went through the drive thru and ordered, very clearly, a Double quarter pounder meal, large. When they asked which soda I wanted, I said just fill it with water. At the pick up window, they tried to give me a tiny cup of water until agreeing to give me a big one. (This isn't the reason I'm writing this though). Before leaving, I check to make sure I got everything I wanted. But they gave me a regular quarter pounder instead of the double. I park and walk inside to get the double which I ordered, expecting to be able to keep the mistake burger. I saw this as an opportunity- And I FULLY intended on giving the mistake burger to one of the homeless people outside. But instead, this fool by the name of "Juan G." took the mistake burger, which I hadn't even touched, and THREW IT AWAY before he'd give me the double that I had ordered through the drive-thru. Knowing full well that there's people starving here in Hayward, I was furious. But he just looked at me like a deer in headlights. And then he had the audacity to charge me the difference for the double even through HE/THEY had screwed up the order, requiring ME to get out of my car to come inside. Seriously, screw this place. And screw McDonald's if this is how employees are trained. I've never come across a more stingy company. And all of this would be excusable- ALL of it- if it weren't for "Juan G" insisting on throwing away a perfectly edible burger that could've gone to somebody less fortunate. Seriously...I don't go to McDonald's often but I would avoid this location like the plague.

This should read negative star. They don't want to give their receipts out because of this. After leaving the drive-through and going all the way back to work and sit at my desk. I took two bites then I had to look to find out what was so different. No burger in the bun, just cheese and a pickle. I don't know maybe this is how they cut costs. All I know is that this is the last time I visit any McDonald's. Every single one of them screws up an order, even a simple cheese burger.

Easily one of the worst fast food restaurants I've ever been to. I've been there four different times and every single time I was ignored by the staff. No one looked at me, no one said hi, nobody asked me if they could help me - every single time I had to force them to acknowledge me by asking if I could order. A couple of times, they even ignored me *after* I asked them if I could order. The food always takes a long time to come out and it's almost always old and bland. I won't be visiting this location again even though I live just a few blocks away. Horrible customer service, dirty restaurant, bad food. Go to the McDonald's on Hesperian - they'll treat you much better and the food is always fresh there.

The 2 guys working the ordering/cashier and food window tonight (Thurs., 12/15 @ 6pm), changed my opinion (and upped their review rating) based on their friendliness and customer service It was pouring out there and in a blah mood from the long day so i wanted something quick and opted for McD's (yeah, yeah..whatevs!) to get a #3 Quarter Pounder with cheese....the guy taking the order was really efficient, friendly and personable...and when i went to the 2nd window to pick up my food the guy was just as friendly and personable...like talking to friends (asking how my evening is going and telling me to drive safe...WHOA!) vs an employee who hates his job. LOL. Order was perfect, food hot, fries were the best...crispy and yummy as usual. Prob the best service received at a fast food that i even did their online mcdvoice survey! haha YAY for them

I just ordered drive thru for my kids. Order taking was great. Even gave me a summary to review my complete order. Then when I picked up my order at the next window, first they ran out of honey mustard. The order taker should have been made aware of that so people asking for it would be notified right away. Next, I come home and give the food to my kids and the Crispy chicken sandwich wasn't there. We received the fries and the drink for the meal but NOT the sandwich. I tried calling the phone number listed on the receipt as well as here on yelp and it is not a working number. This is not a good experience at all. I know never to come back to this branch ever

I sometimes stop here and order breakfast at the drive through. These employees at this location are very efficient at their job. Most of the time while I'm paying an employee at the pick up window already has my order ready. Bigger orders might take longer but if it's just one of their breakfast combos this is the location I visit. The Manager who opens is doing a great job keeping the restaurant clean like a well oiled machine. Thank you

Worst service I received. First it seems she was in a rush, then she added more things to the order, once I corrected her all I heard was oh my God giving the worse attitude. On the next window they charge me the wrong order once I tell her this other worker gives me attitude , I ask for BBQ sauce and said they charge for it and roll her eyes and said its only a dollar. They gave me the order and makes a face for us to leave until I said I was waiting for them to return my card. They still made me wait to give it to me. Those people need to learn better costumer services. You made the mistake and still gives attitude shit .. next time I rather go a mile more but get treated right

This place is disappointing. I came here after work knowing it would have a late drive thru. The lights were still on for the drive thru and I clearly saw two workers sitting by the window when I passed by the drive thru. As I pulled up to the ordering station, no one answered and I said hello. Suddenly they turned off their lights to the drive thru! They clearly had another hour open! That was so horrible .............

I've stopped at this McDonald's a handful of times for breakfast on my way to a weekly morning meeting. The last time I was here - about 2 weeks ago - I tried to use a mobile coupon for a BOGO breakfast sandwich. When I got to the payment part of the drive thru, I handed the lady my phone to scan the coupon - she claimed it didn't work, and went to get her manager. Her manager told me that no coupons were working that day and to come back another day. It made no sense to me. I asked if there was any way to offer me an in-store coupon or to honor the mobile one, and she simply said No, so I left without my food. Super disappointing that a manager couldn't help with such a simple issue. I'm a paying customer, trying to use a valid coupon that is accepted pretty much at any other location? No explanation offered, no apologies, just rude. I won't be coming back to this location at all knowing that the managing staff does not have an interest in taking care of a paying customer.

Was order # 1975 on 5/19/20 via a mobile order and waited over 40+ minutes from my food that I PRE-ORDERED. Actually got tired of waiting and went into the drive-thru with despite a few cars made me wait even longer. When I came up they didn't even truly apologize, decided to REMAKE my food because it was already cold, and when I got home the food was honestly one of the worst McDonalds foods ever. It was even more cold and every single one of the fries were soggy. I ASKED for a refund and they would not give it to me, told me to call my bank. Now that's just shady business there and quite frankly not even what FAST food should be. This place should be reprimanded and I want my money back!

Very poor service, unprofessional at its best. Posting a picture of the guy who helped me at drive Thur. Took my order came to pay window he saw me n ignored me while chatting with an employee and laughing while watching something on his phone. After 1 minute n 12 sec he opens the window takes my card and started chatting again. I asked for the manager n he said no manager on duty. This guy took full advantage n really didn't care about us. Wake up McDonald's management.

This place always messes up my order!!! all I ask for is for a cheeseburger with no onions and no pickles how hard is it to make that. God i hate going here make sure you properly train these idiots how to read/hear what the costumer is saying
