Everytime I come here I have an issue. Today's was a large fry only half full. Nothing in the bottom of the bag. It's getting to the point where convenience is not worth it. I'll just start going to the one in eustis. And dont ask me to go to some link to fill anything extra out. I dont work for mcdonalds. Fix your own business.

The food wasn't cooked all the way. I'm so disappointed. I worked at McDonald's for 8 years plus and I know how long it takes and how it should look on the inside and this wasn't done and I had to be at work I didn't have time to call or go back .

Thank you for selling me a shake without a straw. Super handy and useful. If you have some free time later you can swing by my house and I will sell you a lawn mower without any blades. Dissatisfied, so now I'm headed to Taco Bell to try their new "no tortilla" burrito. * EDIT 6/28/25 Repeated the test. Figured "there is no way they could screw this up exactly the same way again" Got delivery. Shake. No straw. This location literally couldn't open a door unless someone walked in front of them and showed them how to do it. I don't blame the staff, they're probably mostly kids. I blame whoever manages this disaster circus show. Get it together. I can barely tolerate garbage fast food as it is, but when you can't even get that right? What is even the point of going to this clown show?

I’m not sure if it was well I’m pretty sure. Actually the manager wears a blue shirt long sleeve. He told me that I need to make sure I don’t hit arrive until I get inside the store. However, the app says to go through the drive-through so that goes against everything he says I think he’s gonna have a hard time getting through to people. They also made me confirm this order three times I had to show them You know I’m out here dashing for for for three dollars for 5 miles. I got a 4.99 rating and he said you got to hit arrive once you’re inside even though the app says don’t go inside. That’s all man.

The worst service. This morning I was told to pull to the door and wait for my food which I understood. However after waiting 7 extra mins, what I paid for was not even in the bag. I just took my defeat and left. It’s always a problem at this location.

At drive-thru I was greeted with "Welcome McDonald's, come inside please". Yeah, no. Deleted the app, NEVER going to this McDonald's again. This crap happens too often at this location.

This location used to be very efficient. Rarely had an issue. Now, they routinely leave out items or get it totally wrong. Always check your order before leaving!

There's 2 Macdonald in Mt Dora and another one closer in Eustis, but this one is the best of the 3. It's busier, but moves faster than Eustis one, food hot and great, a female manager doing an awesome job. Next one Mt Dora location its almost empty but cold fries, but in this one ,they are actually burning fries.

This place is pathetic. Got takeout tonight. Everything was cold. The burgers were so small, it was mostly bun. McDonald's has become a joke. I will go to other places that actually fill the bun. Drive through people are awful. Inside, not much better. Go to Culvers next door.

The staff is so nice inside, polite always making sure tables are clean and efficient. The new croc toy craze for kids is going on, I got 4 kids meals for my daughter and other girls in the neighborhood because they are collecting these crocs. They were all out and the manager was so nice he gave me the display with the crocs on it! He earned forever customers by this nice gesture!

Avoid this place. Long drive thru wait time. Shrinkflation on the food (Egg McMuffin muffin about 3/4 the size of a normal English muffin. Ridiculously high prices: Big Mac meal - $11.29. $3.79 for a SMALL fries. $0.40 extra per Honey Mustard dipping sauce. Nice sit down restaurants are less expensive and have much better food. Better yet, cook at home.

I don't know what the deal is that the less expensive a restaurant is, the more critical people are in reviewing them. I have been to this branch a couple dozen times over the past few years and never had a problem in food quality or service. In looking at other reviews, I see it might partly be because I don't like idling endlessly in the drive through line and go in and order at the counter. Fairly quick service and off I go. Mind you, the parking is crazy. I don't even park in their small lot because of the two drive through lanes; I park a few feet further away in the general shopping center lot. It can also be tough negotiating this intersection as they don't come crazier than the 441/Donnelly Street corner. I always make sure I can take right turns entering and exiting the lot. And if you do drive through and end up waiting 30 minutes, saying that you wish you could leave zero stars on your review isn't quite as original as you might think it is. Good luck, pilgrim.

Previously, this corporate McDonald's stood as the only one amping the many local franchise stores that was relatively issue free. However, I have over the last few months unhappily experienced issues on almost every visit, requiring me to revise my rating to a accurately reflect this. The issues are excessive wait time, incorrect or incomplete orders, and uncleanliness. Today, for example, my fries were missing, and the person assigned to clean the lobby emptied the very smelly trash cans right next to our table. I had to move my chair to keep her from repeatedly bumping into me with her rear end. In addition to unkempt tables, floor, and bathroom, I have witnessed them cleaning the ice tea container on the floor. ‍. The store has limited seating. The store is small and is noisy. If you are eat at low traffic times, you'll be okay finding a seat. If not, good luck. Some two person tables have stools with no back rest and this are uncomfortable. The parking lot is also small and has 2 spots for handicap, 2 for mobile orders, and 2 for drive thru further limiting parking. The drive thru lanes also block the parking spots on one side of the drivers aren't careful, trapping cars in their parking spots. While this McDonalds has two drive thru lanes, they feed into one lane for payment and orders. During busy times, I've had a 20 minute wait to progress through the order s d receipt process. On the plus side: the employees are generally VERY nice. Additionally, the food is slightly less expensive than at the local franchise stores. Furthermore, there is easy access to the store, and easy access back to the streets.

Very long wait at drive through. Made us park for a big Mac. 11:03 AM. Waiting in parking spot for over ten min! Ridiculous and shameful. No one else in line. What's the reason? I went inside and also had to wait as they made my food. One person in line inside ( they forgot her fries and she was asking for them) finally got my food at 11:17 AM. (Received a coupon for a free meal next time I come for my trouble ) who's coming back here? Nope. By the way my big Mack was cold and Diet Coke was off. I traded it for a sprite. Just ridiculous.

I went to McDonald's growing up and it was always one of my favorite fast food restraunts because it's delicious and fast serving. I love their frapes and I miss their holiday mcflurrys

I have to say, I grew up on McDonald's and have had mostly good/great experiences. This one is a step above the rest. Always clean, friendly and an overall happy staff. They are professional and courteous. The food come out amazingly fast and always got what I ordered. I have not used the drive through, but in store dining is always a great experience.

UPDATE I GOT VERY SICK DONT COME HERE Yuck. How can a McDonald's be bad..? I got a single egg and it was a little bit burned on the bottom and it was runny at the top. I could not eat it... bleh The oatmeal wasn't even stirred in, they just put the water on top of it. After I stirred it in, it was pretty good. But the lady was super nice, so that's the only reason why I put 2 Stars.

On a rainy night we look for hot and delicious drinks. My husband and I found the hot drink at this Mc Donald's but it was a total disappointment. We ordered hot chocolate and it was the worst hot chocolate I've ever had in my life. Without any chocolate flavor, I think you should get chocolate nesquick or "cortés" maybe so improve the quality of that drink. Total disappointment.

I tried the mobile order system yesterday because the drive thru was so long. I ordered from the parking lot and it took about 10 minutes for the food to come out. It worked pretty well and I was satisfied until I checked my food. I drove home and then realized that the small fries on my receipt and that I PAID for were missing. I also ordered a large sweet tea for myself and sweet tea with my kid's happy meals. Of course it was unsweet and tasted watered down and terrible. We ended up throwing the drinks away and my son had to share his sisters fries (which in little kid world that's the end!). It's so annoying to put a little trust in these workers for them to get an order right just to be proven wrong over again.

There is ALWAYS an issue with my food, service and wait time. Fries are either OVERLY salty, undercooked or cold and greasy. Sandwich's are always wrong, meat burnt, old vegetables or fish and chicken that is not up to temp that is still being served. I work in fast food. QUALITY is not something you are representing. The food you serve shows the type of business you are running. You have people that simply don't care enough because it's just a paycheck. Management needs to coach better and there needs to be mass changes. It's an awesome location and super convenient. It has potential and could be sooooooo much better.

Would give it a 0 but no option! Steer clear or you might run out of gas while you sit in the drive through! Over 20 minutes and still haven't ordered. I should leave but it's lake county and not many options and it's laughable that these employees want more money per hour.

This is overcrowded, dirty tea was old and stagnant. That should have been my hint to walk away. I didn't and that's my fault. However I did get an egg Mc minus the cheese and bacon only to notice long after I was gone What makes it worse is it happened at the walk up counter not the infamous drive thru where one would expect that.

I have been going to this location for years and at least 3 to 4 times a week. We (work) get breakfast from there, when I go to the bank in the mornings. I have been working at the same place for 13 years. So you do the math. This morning I was almost hit in the parking lot. Due to lack of space to get around the building the with the new set-up there are 2 lane to order in, but a single lane to wait. Needless to say it is a cluster ###. On top of that people were driving around and cutting in the line, it"s a mess. That is it for me, once I am done, I'm done. WILL NOT BE BACK !! PROMISE!!

Very unhappy with their customer support. Had no idea they ran things so poorly. Over a month ago, I ordered a Big Mac and Cheese Burger. Took it home and as always, the Big Mac was exactly what it's supposed to be. They have consistent quality in every store at all times. So far, so good. The cheese burger on the other hand, had no beef patty, Just bread and a slice of pickle and red stuff. No supper big deal, mistakes happen. Normally McDonald's does a much better job, but they screwed up this time. I understand. It wasn't worth a drive back to the store, so I figured I'd write them. This is where they show how bad they stink as a company. I wrote them and got a standard reply about how my feed back is very important to them and they value me and all that type of empty corporate talk. No attempt to make it right. Very strange. So, I contacted them again and at last an area supervisor made contact. He said he's make it right, but never did. All I want, all I demand, is that the purchase of the cheese burger be refunded. Not talking about a lot of money here. I've given them over a month. A normal person would have thought they'd do the right thing without a need to leave a lot of voice mails and unanswered e-mails. Wouldn't be a lot of effort on their part and really not costly at all. It's around 1.49 or so as I remember (plus tax). They dropped the ball and it's clear what they think of their ex-customers.

Give the lady an award! My family thought we were in a fine dinning restaurant when the Mac Donald team member Mary Lou welcomes us and brought our order to our table! Her smile and kindness made up for the rudeness we had just experienced a Taco Bell just down the street. We left our order and went to Mac Donalds just to be treated like royalty by Mary Lou. Go Mary Lou! You should open your own restaurant or train the staff at Taco Bell Mount Dora. Thanks!

Worst service I have ever experienced at any McDonalds. Lost my credit card here on Saturday around 1:00 pm after I had paid for my order at the counter. When I called around 6:00 pm to ask if anyone had turned it in the person answering the phone said no. After I cancelled my card I saw a fraudulent charge on my card that took place the same day in the same McDonalds so I called the store on Sunday and now was told that a "team member" had turned it in and they were holding it in the safe.In checking their records they could identify that I had paid at the counter and a short time later someone had used my card at one of the in store kiosks. I asked if they could check their security cameras to identify who used my card to make the fraudulent charge at the kiosk and they said the district manager would get back to me. That never happened so I went to pick up my card and the manager never even asked to see any identification before handing me my credit card. Find someplace else for your fast food or better yet cook at home.

The restruant is okay, and so is the food. However it smelled really bad and the restruant was small. And the employees had a very colorful vocabulary. Overall not the best McDonald's there is. But certainly not the worst.

Worst service ever. Well over half an hour in drive thru. We get our food and they park us because they need to "get more chocolate mix" for the 1 shake we ordered. We sit parked over 15 minutes. My husband goes inside to tell them to forget about the shake (which pretty sure they already did) and get our money back since our food is cold by now. Meanwhile, a lady comes to the car and tries to give me someone else's food. My husband sees her talking to me thinking she has the Shake. She has no clue what's going on! Husband goes back in gets in line and gets the shake then demands all our $$ back. The manager seemed surprised he wanted all the money back. Our food was cold!! My husband has an important state exam tomorrow so this was our "quick dinner option" that turned into over an hour trip just to come home with cold food. They need a whole new staff that actually knows what they're doing and how to handle the traffic. The dual drive thru lines did nothing to improve their speed.
