I have to say that never in my entire life of ordering at a McDonald drive thru service was so fast ready in seconds..But ordered a BigMac meal & surprisingly the big Mac is now a small double cheeseburger and fries almost empty very disappointed!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT VERY DISAPPOINTED

Shoney at the drive thru was amazing!!! So sweet, professional and actually seemed to care about not only my experience at location but also about me as a person, and that I was happy with my experience at McDonald's. She is amazing

The food came quickly and was hot and fresh. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.

Terrible drive through experience. No one speaks English there or hard of hearing. 20inutes wait on drive through thrn they forget cofee or mix up orders. Time waste. Dont go there

mcdonalds is trying to hide the fact that they have a racial discrimination lawsuit going on right now for this very same reason. I took the initiative to copy the images below, made by another complaintant that posted below. So, I asked for more caramel and i paid for it. I ask him to put more cuz its not what i paid for. he said no! i asked for the manager and she stated thats how much they are suppose to give you. I replied that i paid extra and you want me to pay more? no response. So an employee who see that i come in alot, states that she sees me come in alot and get the same thing. She attempted to give me what I paid for, when she was stopped by another manager and told not to. So I Left. They are racist and only do this to blacks.

I love the female armed security guard that works here. She doesn’t play about these kids and homeless people. She makes me and my kids feel safe while we’re dining in. Very good job also the worker are nice and friendly too.

The machine to take your order was not accepting credit cards, and that is the whole purpose of the machine... made me think it was a faulty machine, just trying to snag your information. I just needed a coffee before jury duty. I'm sure I will not be returning.

Cashier wasn't friendly,. I said good morning don't answered,.. I ordered buy 1 get 1 free breakfast sandwiches,. Asked for silver onions,.. and charged me $1 for tomatoes (see receipts) gave me grilled onions ughhhhhhh SMH! WHAT A LOSERS.

Low rating due to staffing. As my receipt and drink shows, I said no liquid sugar. I asked the lady if she could please add the creamer, and she looked at me annoyed and told me I should have said yes to the liquid sugar to get the creamer. I explained I said no to the sugar, not the creamer. She said too bad, no. Never an issue at other McDs.

The only reason I rated this place a 3 star is for the fact they're open late and are nearby NJIT. However, I came to order and did drive thru and already the guy through the head set did not want to speak. His attitude was off and impatient, I wanted to do separate orders which other McDonald allow through one go. However this man said he wouldn't allow it that way and we would need to go through the line twice. I recommend because at the end of the day it's McDonalds and I love to go for late night snack, but be prepared to not have the most welcoming customer service. This is also not the first time this has occurred where the drive thru is impatient.

It's really not 1 time I go to this McDonald's and my order is correct!! I ask for a steak mcmuffin they give me a steak biscuit I don't eat that dry mess!! I asked for a double cheese burger they really gave me a regular cheeseburger with the double cheese burger ticket on it!! They will NO LONGER GET MY MONEY!!!!

You can never get a hot order at the McDonald's on market and Bergen St in Newark. they pre cook everything and the food is always luke warm or cold.when you complain they Make you feel like your the problem.and when they do replace your order it is the same precooked burgers. To ask them to cook you a hot burger or some hot nuggets you are being difficult.i can remember when you could ask for a fresh burger off the grill with no problem. This food cost to much not to have it hot and fresh.market st. McDonald's need to up there game.signed loyal customer.

Friendly staff and pretty quick service! Food seems made-to-order. Ketchup, napkins, straws, etc. are all behind the counter and you have to ask for them! Also, one has to be buzzed into the restroom as it's locked! There is a dedicated staff member in the dining area keeping it clean!

service was friendly food was cold. Although it was cold it was fresh but it was not hot at all my burger or fries

The line is always hideous l!!! This location needs a makeover with additional lanes added, way to busy to be one line on the high traffic area. And since covid all locations have locked restrooms which is terrible for the customers l, but the employees are able to use the restrooms They need to fix this and soon, it's ridiculous to be able to spend my money but not use the restrooms.....very annoying!!!!

Slowest drive thru on the planet. Youre better off going inside and ordering. I pulled up to the drive thru around 6:15 am in the morning to get breakfast. I ordered a sandwich and made sure to tell them to put everything but the meat, instead, they put the meat and took everything out. Of course I did not observe this until I got to work. So I had to end up buying breakfast elsewhere. Here is a piece of advice: check your order before driving off. For the past three days, they couldn't take cards, only cash. One of the worst franchise locations ever.

I have to say, since the upgrade and the gutting of the old place they have improved tremendously! I was very impressed with the new ordering kiosk and how quickly the service was. Every employee there paid attention to every guest in this McDonald's. The attention paid to people waiting, the people sitting and anybody else in this establishment was refreshing. Oh and they offer Uber Eats. That helps in this area. Great Job Micky D's - I'll be back for sure.

Always slow. The workers here are young and they're always talking among themselves instead of taking orders and when they do, they might've got something wrong on the order. I hate coming to this one. I'm glad they made another one down the street from me. I wish they can just remodel this one and hire new employees. It's time. They fixed up the Wendy's and it looks so nice.

I've stopped here at this McDonald's for breakfast 6-8 times over the past couple years and it's perfectly fine. Service has always been great, never had a problem with an order, and the lot is pretty easy to ingress and egress. If you're looking for a quick bite and you like McDonald's this place is fine. If you're looking for a quick bite and you don't want people begging for your change you might want to try another location. They aren't aggressive, but they literally stand right past the drive thru window where you HAVE to pass - Note to McDonald's...either invite them in and give them a free bite to eat or get them to move away from a location where they can be harassing your customers.

It's a nice restaurant. Not too much riff raff. It's also always very clean. The service is pretty good despite the crowds, and the staff is friendly. It's a great place to have your morning coffee, read your paper, and your day started.

This place and the one on Central Ave. have a problem with listening, I go to one or the other every day and ask for French Vanilla coffee and maybe one-day out of the week seem to get it right. Please retrain your employees to make coffee!

Well fast food is fast food. It satisfies you as you start eating, but after finishing the meal, you quickly realize that it was a mistake. It's too bad that McD's is one of the few places that are open late at night. You want something better, but nothing else is open. So, you submit to your hunger urges and consume whatever is available... I'm giving them 2 stars instead of the average-3, since they occasionally have people loitering and asking for change or money as you pay or pick up your meal at the drive-through. Hire a security guard to prevent them from harassing your customers!--Wendy's across the street has one... Side note: I seem to always get more than 20nuggets when I buy the 20box... I like it when they don't count, and it's in my favor.

Gave me old fries and tell me move over on of the reserved parkings not only that I have ordered grilled wraps and I got 1 crispy and 1 grilled both were old they were cold. Mc Donald should take serious not about it its not their standard

So this morning I went to get a medium decaf coffee and a meal .. while standing there waiting for my food I notice my coffee sitting there .. I grab it .. took the top off .. tasted it .. and it was warm. I then asked the manager for a hotter cup of coffee .. she tells me that I would have to pay for the cup. Excuse me .. you gave me warm coffee and I have to pay to get another cup! Then she proceeds to give me a trick treat win ticket .. wait .. what about my hot coffee! Where was Brenda when I needed her!! Thumbs down for Mickey D's for charging people twice for one cup of coffee...

Just your typical McDonalds nothing special nothing real bad but I don't like that they allow bums to hang around a drive through while you're getting your food . For that they lose 2 stars learn how to look out for your customers nobody wants to be hassled or harassed when their purchasing their food.

This is the worst restaurant. Every time I pull up to this place the workers are on their phone. Tonight they did Not pay attention that I was waiting on my food which was getting colder, you had workers off the clock distracting the ones still working. When I started complaining to the manager the worker had the nerve to close the window. I am done doing business with this franchise in Market street in Newark New Jersey.

I would never eat from here again I always order thru the drive thru but today I decided to walk in and let me tell you the floors ,the bathroom and where they serve the food was disgusting flies everywhere and garbage everywhere the manager didn't even have her uniform properly put on she had her shirt hanging outside her pants and when I got my food one burrito was cold and the other one was hot I took one bite of each and threw it away never again newark ya gotta do better !

Worsttttttttt mcdonaldss everrrr first they didnt take my coupon and ontop of that they charged me extra for cheese on my biscuit sausage and cheese when that sandwich already comes with cheese and intop of that they coudnt sell me a small orange juice because they only have medium and large thats crazy i wont ever go there ontop if it being dirty and my buscuit all greasy and nasty ever again i hate this place i wont ever eat in newark ever again.. My gf had the same experience they told her they coudnt take her coupon because they dont do that and when i went thru drive thru she tells me " we cant take the coupon because the scanner is broken"" worst mcdonalds ever !!! They dont evan deserve one star but it wont let me post unless i put one star -_-
