McGettigan's 19th Hole

I hadn’t eaten here in years and when the office decided to order for lunch my expectations were low. I picked a Cobb salad with blackened chicken and added blue cheese and avocado. It was delicious! Maybe one of the best salads I have had. In fact everyone in the office loved what they ordered. We will definitely be ordering again in the future.

Very nice place. We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful weather. Fantastic band. Amazing meat and cheese board. Not much more you can ask for.

It's a locals bar, mixed with an Irish dive bar, mixed with a bar/wine(tiny selection) store. The menu is extensive and covers a variety of foods. Tacos, Italian sandwiches, cheesesteaks, and burgers. We had the carne asada tacos(meh) and the chicken cutlet sandwich with ricotta and peppers(meh) and wings(meh). The food prices are reasonable. If you're local it's worth a try. But don't drive from 30 minutes away to eat here.

The waitress and staff was awesome. The food excellent. Coworker and I had Ceasars salad and wht i thought would be a small bowl was a big bowl. I added the blackened shrimp to it and it was so good i could have just ate that and been happy. I had the chicken parmesan and the coworker had the shepards pie. The amount was so much we had to take home leftovers because it was so good. The price was good and worth it. Recommend without a doubt. Side note a table next to us order hot wings and it was huge and if we get a chance next time we are in town we will definitely go back and try that.

After our caddying, playing, and long day of practice of our 1st round of golf, we went to McGettigans because it was close and we were hungry. Our waitress Belle was Awesome, attentive with us and with everyone else who was outside the restaurant. The best part of the night was when the guys who call themselves "Fans of Doyle" came over to eat and drink with everyone ... These are the guys who cheer the players on the 17th hole... They are crazy fun.. They have been doing this for the past 10yrs and hope to continue the journey... We also make time to come here every year when the tour is in town and of course, caddying at the LPGA Shoprite Tournament We are back this year.....!!!! 😀 Love coming here

Frequent here often because we like the bands BUT BE AWARE... waitresses are extremely rude and the bathroom hasn't been cleaned all summer.

If I could give negative stars, I would. We have been here several times over the years, but NEVER AGAIN. The bartender last night (Oct 9) was so incredibly rude, she pretty much threw our menus at us and was absolutely miserable. Ordered wings and fries. Never got the fries. The wings were inedible, threw them away. Also, the Marriott nearby has this as their top dining suggestion. Hey bartender, you're getting business from out-of-town guests because of the Marriott. How about you not act like they're doing you a favor! I am also writing to the Marriott that they should stop suggesting McGettigan's, unless they get some new staff!! Really, shame on you.

Bartender needs to get a job she enjoys. Wings were rubbery have been here before and was better. Not so much tonight

Decent place for a drink and wings. Staff was nice and attentive. Overall bit steep on the drink prices.

We've been going here for years after golf at the Bay course. Really like what they've done converting the parking lot to an outside dining area. Lots of tables and live music on Friday and Saturday in season. Food is solid across-the-board. Wings and tails are incredible. Beers are cold. Servers are friendly. Highly recommended

Service and food were good! We were visiting from out of town. Good little hole in the wall place!

Great little local bar, restaurant we happened upon across from our vacation spot. My review is for the outside section. We stopped because we heard the music on Friday and went back again on Saturday (only has live music those days). Great bands. Outdoor tv's were fun. We enjoyed a limited beer menu and I had a steak sandwich and hubs had a gyro. It was causal and service was very good. Lots of outdoor hi-top tables with umbrellas. Well lit and spacious. Food was decent and varied. Highly recommend. Parking was on gravel and not real accessible if you are limited.

Stopped in on a Friday night for a quick bite. We attempted to sit outside but they had a gnat problem that prevented us from enjoying the live band. After we moved inside & sat at the bar, everything was smooth sailing. The menu has a ton of options that are all tasty & standard "pub/bar fare" - we were pleasantly surprised to see a few healthier options on the menu. We ordered a salad with avocado, shrimp, and juicy tomatoes. It was really fresh & delicious!

Food here is awesome but you feel a bit out of place when you go to pick it up, like if you're not a golfer or a regular, you don't belong there. That said, my cheesesteak egg roll was fabulous.

This place came recommended many times. Finally glad we were able to check this place out. Loud ambiance, bar atmosphere but that's not a complaint and fits the atmosphere well. Service was prompt and pleasant. Looks like they have daily specials which is great! We got chicken parm egg rolls which were clearly homemade, crispy and delicious. French onion soup was warm and yummy. Shepherds pie was their own and very yummy, maybe a little too cheesy, but very good and the Buffalo tails which hot sauce were spicy and great! Highly recommend.

Ordered wings, at the Seaview hotel. So overcooked. Someone recommenced McGettingans as the best wings. They must have went back to the Seaview to get my order, or the locals must enjoy dry overcooked wings.

I have to be honest, when I walked in to the restaurant, it was clear that African American don't normally dine here. The surprised looks my friend and I got said it all. That's said, the staff made us feel welcome and the food, and service was fantastic. McGettigan's is definitely a great place to have brunch on a Sunday morning and of your in luck like we were, you will be able to enjoy your meal with some live music. Who doesn't love live music with their meal? I just love it. If I'm ever in town again and brunch is on the agenda, I will definitely give McGettigan's another go around.

Food is alway good! Caramel apple martini with $1.00 tenders on Wednesday. Garlic parm and pool boy (mild hot sauce and garlic). Service is always great! Ambiance is nice inside and out when the it's open.

The chicken toes? I can't remember what the name was; but DELICIOUS. Nice food, good drinks I like the atmosphere and the take out. Nice food to take home also. Back to the local resorts in our case. But eat in was nice too. Will always go.

Since we were staying at the Seaview, we decided to check this place out for lunch one day, and I'm glad we did! We came for an early lunch on a Wednesday so it was pretty desolate, but that was totally fine in my book since I prefer the ambience to be a little quieter around lunchtime. We were seated quickly and I was delighted to discover that the Wednesday special was cheap wings and beer - perfect! I ordered 12 hot wings and a tall Yuengling for myself. The wings were pretty meaty and cooked well, but I didn't love the flavor of the sauce (only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars). That being said, I ate all of them, so it couldn't have been that bad :) Service was excellent - attentive without being overbearing. Overall, I would definitely come back here.

I am so grateful I stumbled across this place on a sunny day road trip adventure. They are highly practicing social distancing with great outdoor seating weather permitting. They have weekly musical entertainment, great happy hour prices and the food is great. I love the eggrolls and wings. However I also have to say that the drinks are very refreshing and tasty. Very friendly and customer service oriented staff which always is a plus for a good time. I look forward to more visits in the near future and try out more menu items.

The adult mac and cheese is the best thing I have ever tried. I swear its like a party in my mouth every time I had a bite. The flavors were divine, would recommend you try this at least once in your life.

The food was excellent and the service was great. Went with several teens and kids and they agreed dinner was delicious. What you would expect as far as typical pub food and low key atmosphere. The dessert nachos are a must have!

I really enjoyed going here. Service was great. Food was delicious. Beer was ice cold. The live music was excellent. I look forward to returning!

We have been here many times since we moved to Galloway and the food is always amazing. The Smithville Salad is one of my favorites anywhere and is so big I get to enjoy it again for lunch the next day. Wings- fantastic, pretzels-fantastic, chicken parm- fantastic! We came for brunch on Halloween which is also my son's birthday. They treated him like royalty and made us all so very happy. Plus, BRUNCH SHOTS! Great drinks, great food, great staff. Definitely stop by if you're in the area, you won't be disappointed!

I enjoy the food and the outside bar here, but the inside bar is just too loud. When they renovated the sound is terrible with a few semi loud patrons. It is a bar, yes, but we are in the far corner and it is averaging 85 decibels which is like a killing machine. We could not hear each other speak or have a conversation. And it was difficult talking to the waitress. It makes it hard for the family to enjoy a nice time at this tavern. Again good food but bring ear plugs.

Okay place. Would be better if Guinness was on Nitro! Maybe serve Boddington's Beer too. Decent pub food, don't get the corned beef burger. Poor amount of CB on burger. Would be better if the patty was all CB. Decent price on pints though.

Great stop for a cold drink with or without food. Part of a nice bike ride, or a great stop for golfers at the 19th hole. Smithville salad, burgers, great wings. All super.

My daughter and I are staying at the Seaview so this seemed a logical place to try. No complaints! I had the Smithville salad and it was very good - everything tasted fresh. I just wish it had been a little bigger. My daughter got the Seaview salad and especially liked the blackened chicken. We shared the Bavarian pretzel appetizer which was tasty. I also had a blueberry lemonade cocktail which I thought would have come in a taller cup. It was sweet which was fine but rather weak. Our service was fine as well. The only negative was we were seated at a table with a tiny umbrella that did little to block the sun and it was sizzling hot. I asked for a chair that I could put at end of table where I wasn't directly in sun so that worked. I would definitely eat there again!

Great food and great drinks. Wonderful outdoor tavern! We got a lot of different food for pickings and everything was delicious!

Got excited about the new ownership and couldn't wait to get the buffalo tails. All the food we got was amazing, but the buffalo chicken on the loaded tots was so disappointing. So tough and hard to chew it ruined the dish. Either old chicken or re heated. But will be back to give a second try.

Great service, great food, cold beer. Short walk from Seaview Hotel. What's not to love?

Fat guy with a beard at the bar was clearly over served by Michelle and the food was heated up. Only gave it a two because the beer selection. Options in this area are limited but pick somewhere else if you can!!

Yum yum yummmmm. We came here on a wed night. I ordered pumpking beer and a grilled cheese stuffed with boneless wings. It was so delish. My mom and dad did not care for the noise, because it is, in fact VERY loud, but that's the atmosphere and style of the restaurant. My dad got a cheeseburger and loved it he exchanged the fries for tots #myman & my mom got the pretzel and french onion soup. There were no leftovers. I hope to come back.

Stopped for some drinks after a round of golf. Megan the bartender was pretty cool. We got some wings and they were pretty good. Overall, not a bad little place.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. Pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the Caesar salads. Crisp fresh greens, excellent chicken. Nice dressing.

We stayed at the Seaview and stumbled over to McGettigans for 1 drink. We ended up staying all evening because we loved Ed the bartender so much. We also liked the food so much we went back the next day for dinner. If you want good food and drinks in a laid back atmosphere this is your joint. Thanks Ed for all the hospitality! Our waitress was Sam and she made our experience awesome. She recommended drinks that were awesome and she had a great personality! We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

I was a bit disappointed with the food. First my drink was not mixed properly and I had to send it back and order a new one. Next the bruschetta chicken sandwich was so hot and spicy it was inedible which was a real shame because I bet it would be great without spices. The waitress was super understanding and nice.

Good service, but everything else: food, drinks, ambience, noise level made us feel there were many better options in the area. We went for dinner on "Taquito Tuesday". While the restaurant was busy we were seated right away, and our server was attentive throughout our visit. Our food however, was bland to the point of being tasteless, and our margaritas were barely recognizable as margaritas. The restaurant was extremely noisy, and the dining room reminded me of a big party room where tables had been set up as an afterthought.

Went here for lunch me and the mrs ..the prices were fair and the food was pretty good seating was limited due to the covid crimes perpetrated by the governor..i enjoyed this place and will be back

Went with a few friends after a round of golf, all seemed to go well until the entrees came out, 3 of us ordered sandwiches, one a buffalo chicken cheese steak and the two of us the french dips, seems like the cook maybe smoked too many bowls that day, as my friend's french dip was stocked with meat and i could only see a roll on my plate, only to open it up and actually see literally one slice of beef on both sides of the sandwich cut in two, everyone at the table laughed at the obvious poorly made dish, I alerted the waitress who in turn alerted the manager and only offered to send it back, and this place does not look like a place you want to send back food if you know what i mean. I asked the waitress if that looked like a good sandwich to her, and her response was" I don't know, I don't make sandwiches", lol what a dunce, total crock. Also the waitress was totally snarky about it the rest of the stay, no apologies about the food quality from anyone, no adjustment when the bill came, only another snarky comment from the waitress, "you had your chance".....No pride in the establishment or product served...AVOID!!

New ownership. Chris is the best bartender. That is all you need to know. The place has big plans on changes and I can't wait to come back and see what has changed and get the same great service!

Arrived at Marriott's Fairway Villas. After unpacking and a drive to shoprite, we just wanted a good juicy pub burger. They did not disappoint. The best burgers we have had in a long time. Each made to order. The bacon on top was cooked perfectly, cheese well melted, cooked to our specifications. The toasted kaiser roll was on point. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. The beer was cold. The music was great. Overall 5 stars. Would highly recommend

Decent food decent price. The waitress was very attentive, the bartender was meh. Food is meh probably wouldn't go back. The sides tasted amazing. The entrees were meh. So overall just a meh place. On the plus side it was close to the hotel I was staying at. Also it's weird that the food and the beer tabs had to be in separate checks when sitting at the bar. Just strange. Would not recommend to anyone.

Ran across this place when I was in Atlantic City area. Nice Irish pub. Cold beers and pub fare. I tried the Shepards pie. Was ok , good comfort food. I heard the wings are great, will tey next time. Staff was nice -- service was good. Plenty of parking. Good place to hit after golf or to watch sports while having a cold one.

Was staying in the The hotel across the street this was Convenient since it was right there the street. The atmosphere was just like a normal Irish pub. The food is really good end the service was great.fine staff with very Friendly and treated me like I was a regular here.

My wife and I stopped in McGettigans after a day at Smithville. My wife had a cheese burger and fries and I had one their specials, salmon on cedar salad. Both were delicious. Our waitress Megan was friendly and professional. She chatted with us and made sure all was good My only pet peeves, if you called it that, was paying a separate bar tab.

Only drank here, drinks were good and reasonable. Food I heard is good, haven't tried it. This place is inexpensive and has a divey bar feel, which may turn off some people. I liked it. It is a good stop-off if you are at Seaview and want a cheaper meal. Don't expect them to be the most polite, kindest folks in the world, this isn't the place for that. It is a family establishment for 50 years and they have seen it all. I would recommend paying in cash - speeds everything up. This is a divey bar and you should know what you're getting. It's nothing to be ashamed of, but it is what it is.

Eaten here several times and we always had a good . Had Chicken Marsala and husband had Crab Cake with pitcher of beer. Would recommend both dishes

My son was playing US Kids Golf at Seaview, so my wife ordered a cheeseburger to go. The lady at bar is so rude. Cheeseburger over cooked and tasted so bad, only French fries are good. They will never get my business again!

Not absolutely terrible. Definitely would not choose this place to eat if around here. It seems that they have made their food cheaper, and the quality worse. I mean, how can you mess up a reuben?

I felt like having a steak last night, and I ended up with the Prime Rib. Friendly staff, good drinks and nice music.
