Relaxed evening with great food and company |The whole experience was wonderful. The starters were generous and beautifully presented.|The main courses were delicious and very generous also. There was the local catch of the day with beer batter, and homemade chips. There was massive burgers, turkey and beef mains that all got the thumbs up. The kids meal was nice too and a good bit of it eaten.|Desserts were amazing. Staff were friendly and very efficient even though busy. The atmosphere was warm, well coming and cosy.|Highly highly recommend a trip here.

My sister & I & our husbands stayed in Mc Grorys for two nights while visiting family last week. First impressions were very positive as the whole place was beautifully warm & cosy on a cold wintry night. Everyone we dealt with was so very welcoming & genuinely so. The breakfasts were excellent & we had dinner there on both nights. The food was delicious. My lasting impression of Mc Grorys is the lovely welcome ; the dedication of the staff & the lovely homely feel of the place. Highly recommended.

Arrived in Culdaff after a Mizen to Malin cycle well after the kitchen had closed, however, the staff were superb & allowed us to phone in our orders & kept the kitchen open to accommodate us.||The food was amazing - I would highly recommend the burger. Staff were terrific and couldn’t do enough for us.||We had completed a charity cycle, so they gave us a drink on the house - thank you to all & in particular, Scott the manager.

Warm and homely hotel with very attentive staff. |Kept clean and tidy by the charming and efficient staff. |Well prepared meals from the menu should not disappoint with local seafood a delight.|Musical entertainment is to a high standard.|Beautiful beach nearby which is great for walking, swimming, sunbathing "at times".|A special word of thanks to Scott, who seems to be everywhere, for looking after us during our visit.|Can wait to visit again.

Myself and my husband went for a two night stay in McGrorys Hotel. From the beginning to end, the welcome we got, to the very friendly and helpful staff was amazing. The girl serving breakfast was so friendly and told us lots of places to visit. The food was gorgeous and our room was lovely. We definitely be coming back again.

Excellent. Food was top notch. The fish was just amazing. The battery was crispy and light. Good setting and the Guinness was very good. Try the chowder- was next level.

Our table was booked for 7 o’clock and when we arrived it was ready and we were informed as their dinning room getting renovated the staff let us know we were in another room and showed us in and we were delighted with the whole set up and the atmosphere was excellent. Staff were really friendly and very attentive. Also staff member Sarah was very informative on dishes and made us feel so welcome and relaxed

We dropped in for lunch on a rainy July day. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered a mussel appetizer. It was something like 13€ but it was a serving big enough for a meal. The mussels were locally harvested so the6 were really fresh. A great deal! My wife had a vegan curry rice dish which was excellent as well. Forgot exactly how much it cost but it was good value as well. We were pleasantly surprised they actually had a vegan dish on the menu.

We arrived at 7pm the bar was buzzing but restaurant empty. We weren't planning on a three course meal but the menu was very appealing. Setting: Very nice, spacious with bare stone walls and tea lights everywhere which was very cosy! We had intended only to have a starter or light snack but the bar was full (buzzing) and no available seating for our party of 4 so we tried the restaurant-It was a Sunday evening and we had the whole place to ourselves- I love it when this happens, it makes me feel like a celebrity! :) Food: Very difficult to please all four of us as we have such different tastes but this restaurant was fabulous. Lovely range of foods and extensive wine list catering for a wide variety of tastes- all well priced. (Two courses for 25€ ; three courses 29€) My main was salmon and hake - well cooked and flavorsome, sides came included (veg, potato and chips) Staff: Waiting staff were helpful but not intrusive. I'd have liked more help / recommendation with the wine choice.

Foods great if maybe a little expensive. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Quite intimate this is great for a treat.

Owners are WONDERFUL! Will do anything even open early if the know you want in! Spent a great afternoon talking with them and even there dog Penny!

We had a group of 11, ages 25-75, on a Saturday evening. Staff was warm and accommodating. Delicious dinner, served hot. Food is homemade with locally grown ingredients. Live music started around 9:30-10PM. McGrorys has top notch music acts all year round. We didn't stay at the hotel, but rooms are clean, comfortable. An authentic Irish pub and much more!
