From the moment we arrived, the warmth, professionalism, and seamless hospitality made the entire day feel magical. A very special word of thanks goes to Tara, our wedding coordinator. Her organisation, reassurance, and genuine care were evident in every detail. She guided us through the entire journey with such calm confidence, and she made sure our day unfolded exactly as we had imagined. Her dedication meant the world to us. We also want to extend our heartfelt appreciation to Scott, the bar manager. His energy, friendliness, and exceptional service added so much to the evening. He looked after our guests brilliantly, ensured everything ran smoothly, and contributed hugely to the fun, relaxed atmosphere throughout the night. But our gratitude extends far beyond this. Every member of the McKivitts team played a part in making our wedding day unforgettable — from the reception staff who welcomed our guests with such warmth, to the servers who delivered impeccable service during the meal, to the kitchen team who prepared food that our guests are still talking about, and the behind-the-scenes staff who kept everything running seamlessly. Their teamwork, professionalism, and genuine kindness were felt from start to finish. Moira and I are deeply appreciative of the entire staff for going above and beyond to make our day so special. Thank you for giving us a celebration we will cherish forever. Lovely hotel. Clean comfortable rooms. Lovely staff, nice food, great location Shower could be a bit better but otherwise fab.

Great one night stay en route from Dublin to Belfast. We wanted a small village with local flavor and that's what this hotel/inn delivered. We would return for sure. Rooms are relatively basic but very clean and staff are so hospitable. Meals are excellent. We liked the village of Carlingford, waterfront, castle and the various local pubs, eateries. Perfect spot for a small village experience.

We had a lovely 5night stay at McKevitts, comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff, we felt right at home. A good quality hot Breakfast every morning set us up for the day! Centrally located in town it's easy to wander around from here or take the car further afield to the mountains. We would recommand McKevitts 😁

Never stay here before came with 6 friends.. the hotel is lovely a wee gem room were lovely and big bathroom with shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was yummy and everyone was happy we will be back at some point..

We ate in the restaurant. We didn’t stay here. Food was good. Staff very nice and friendly. Some strange goings on at the bar from customers 🙈🙈. If it was my bar I’d be like do you guys mind keeping it clean.

We had never been to Carlingford before, but will definitely return. McKevitts was perfect for us. From the time we arrived until we left, it was amazing. Normally we like to eat in different places but the food was so good that we ate there on the 3 nights of our stay. The staff were all so attentive, good humoured and very good at their job. Will definitely be back. Thanks to Terry & all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

Hotel location very handy but no parking outside it so parked in car park short distance away. Staff very friendly and food good. But black mould on ceiling of bathroom which when we were leaving one to speak to to tell them.
