On the Grid : Bagdad Theater & Pub

"The McMenamin brothers were pioneers of the brew pub culture in Portland in the 80’s. Since then, they have perfected their formula of taking historic properties and turning them into quirky, charming, and multifaceted venues, with locations all over Oregon and Washington. Bagdad Theatre & Pub, styled with a Mediterranean motif throughout, is a star of the enterprise. At the center is a huge first-run movie theater, recently renovated with a larger screen, and better sound and seats. But the building also hosts a pub with sidewalk seating, a cozy cigar bar, and a cavernous backstage bar. If they served breakfast, you could spend all day here, and never be bored." - Kevin M. The food is okay. The cheeseburger I had was dry and the bun was hard. It was edible, but I wish I ate elsewhere. I don't regret it, but I won't visit again. The tater tots were as good as the tots at Sonic. It's cramped, too. The building is an historic building that's pretty dark in the bar and I get that it's an old building and a bar. The waiter took our number when one of us got food and then gave away some of the other food we ordered because we no longer had a number. We mentioned this and they eventually brought us the other food we ordered, but it was left half-eaten. I don't believe that you'll miss out on anything or have major regrets if you don't go. If you do, great! I visited once and that's more than enough for me.

Google
This place is a beautiful part of Portland. The building and decor are beautiful. The theater area is very nice and comfy. Yummy foods and drinks while watching a movie, what more could you ask for? Also, McMenamins is generous and kind and hosts a free tour every few weeks that give a really great history of the theater. Highly recommend! It's at 10 am on Saturday.

Google
Beautiful theater, big screen, great sound, comfortable seats. The beer is tasty, but the food is mediocre and expensive. We spent $100 for two tickets, two 12" pizzas, a pint and a pitcher of beer.

Ava Johns

Google
such nice people here and a really really cool theater! Staff let us go and peek at the theater during a period of no showings and the beer selection was great. Super cool experience.

Ashley Powell

Google
This place is SO BEAUTIFUL!! we are suckers for the scooby snacks- so tasty. Great beer and delicious food. Plenty of non alcoholic options. Prices are comparable to amc or other theater chains. Can’t be beat!

Google
This a great local theater in the fall & winter, but it is NOT air conditioned (NO AC), so I would avoid it if you're looking to escape the heat. Comfortable seats, great beer selection, food is a little pricey but better than average theater fare. No reserved seats, so get there a little early if it's a popular movie.

Google
I love this spot! All locations are fantastic, but the McMenamins Bagdad Theatre & Pub on Hawthorne stands head and shoulders above the local competition. Fantastic food, great service, love this spot. Fish and chips are always a home run, the Cajun tots are excellent, and the brew selection is great. 10/10 recommend

Google
My favorite theater. Elegant, you can get food (arrive a little early or enjoy the pizza) comfortable seats and alcohol served. The best of movie going experience.

Yelp
Such a cute theater! Love that there are so many options for concessions, drinks, pizza, popcorn etc. and such a beautiful historic theater. I will definitely be back. Was such a fun spot to see Wicked! Also super affordable tickets.

Yelp
Ok. Maybe eating here on the same day as the hawthorn street fair was unfair. But I was hungry and these places are supposed to be consistent. It was a little crazy but the place was clean and outdoor Should have skipped it when the host had no room for a single. I had to show him the empty table for two. He said it was reserved but I looked as his wait list. It was empty. The outdoor table was a highlight Aside from the host the service was fine except it took 30 minutes from order to serve. 30 minutes for a fried chicken Caesar salad. Lettuce cherry tomatoes cheese in a bland dressing. The real killer was the fried chicken. It was chicken nuggets sliced to look like a chicken breast. They were terrible. The best part of the meal was the ginger beer. Excellent

Yelp
Atmosphere: Good outdoor tables with people-watching views of Hawthorne Food: We got a salad and some fish tacos for happy hour. The salad is pretty underwhelming. The fish tacos were tasty but small. McMenamins food in general is pretty mediocre and the menu is basically the same at all locations. The sliders aren't bad and the soups are really good though. Price: We came for Happy Hour which is a reasonable deal. Other food prices are way too high for what it is Service: Waitress was friendly, but it took FOREVER to get drinks. Our food came out before the drinks. Parking: Street parking

Yelp
We were at the bookstore and suddenly realized we were hungry, looked across the street and saw Baghdad Bar. With no familiarity with the fare to be offered, we thought it looked just interesting enough that we had to try it. No wait for a table - "Welcome - sit anywhere!" It was a hot summer day, but sitting in the dining room that is open to the sidewalk was very comfortable. Our group started with an order of chicken wings. They were crispy, reasonably spicy and came with the traditional celery and bleu cheese dressing. I'll give these 3 out of 5 stars. We had a margarita pizza which despite having a very nice amount of mozzarella on each slice, was just so-so. Not as flavorful as I'd anticipated. 2.5/5 stars. Thai sweet potato fries were delightful. Really great. 5 stars! Lastly, we shared the BLT caesar salad. This was really good and had plenty of bacon and amazing croutons. My preference would have been for more tomatoes, but this was near perfection and garners the full 5 stars. Our primary server was delightful and kept the drinks coming, our water glasses full, and managed to keep our table from being overtaken by plates. Other staff members were also pleasant and efficient.

Yelp
Absolutely love trying new McMenamins! I loved how the windows are tall and all open up for a nice ambiance to the outside when the weather is nice like it was! I had the pressed Five-O Sandwich and it never disappoints with the sweetness of the pineapples and pulled pork that is so tender. Cajun tots are always on my list. The raspberry Marg wasn't too sweet it was perfect for a birthday cocktail. If you don't know about these passports ask your server I highly recommend it, it's a fun way to make new dates with fun adventures and so much to see as McMenamins always has the most unique places!

Yelp
This food was great, truffle burger and beer it never disappoints at a McMenamins. This location is special though as it has a movie theater attached to it and the vibe is amazing super friendly staff and very nice and attentive at that. We also take part in the passport game that they offer which makes explore all the different locations even more fun.

Yelp
The ambiance is very nice and welcoming. The staff were also very kind! And the food was delicious. It was all hot and when I got it, it tasted very fresh.

Yelp
fun place and theater balcony is our jam! we arrived early and went to the back stage bar for a drink before heading to the main thenar for our show. We always like dinner in a movie, who doesnt !? it's clean, bathrooms play the auditorium sound so you dont miss while you piss :) ewww tasty bites per usual.

Yelp
First visit in over a year and my husband and I were sticker shocked with how much their prices have increased. There is inflation then there is unreasonable prices taking advantage of people. How can a basket of tater tots be $16? Steak bites appetizer almost $30. Whew. Only go here if you plan on paying 5 star prices. Food was okay, no worth the prices tag. We sat on the patio and the server checked on us once. Just not quite worth the visit any longer.
google avatar

Yelp
First of all, Thomas was our experience here. We got a culinary guide of Portland from them that made us wish that we had visited here our first night. We visited rather late so it was quiet and closing down while the streets were doing the same. Some of us had happy hour food and some had the regular menu. Both were delicious. McMenamins drink selection is plentiful so everybody was able to indulge. Recommend visiting this summer.

Yelp
A land mark spot we decided to try out, although it says Baghdad Theater with an arabic Alladin theme inside which was cool, but it dose not serve any arabic food so don't be fooled. We ordered a few items the Mac and cheese was decent, the club sandwich was ok, the burger was decent, the fish and chips were horrible and re fried several times which made me sick a few hours later, and from the picture it actually looked burnt red? The drinks were great though! Service was ok, after the food was delivered the waiter disappeared lol he knew!

Jackie T.

Yelp
Fabulous Food and service and great menu and this site has the outdoor soaking pool to use before dinner!! At the Kennedy School in Portland.

Yelp
Honestly, I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie experience here. The place is so unique and they've kept all the cool parts of old while updating the amenities like sound, screen and seating. I enjoyed a cocktail that was themed for the movie we went to see, along with Cajun tots, a passport cash-in, while my husband had pepperoni pizza and a soda. Do note- that they don't deliver cocktails to your seat. Instead you need to pick them up at the cocktail window (can't miss it due to the neon sign reading "cocktails"). I can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Yelp
Fantastic venue to see a movie and enjoy beer and cocktails. It's like stepping back in to an age where movie theaters were glamorous. This is one of my favorite things to do in Portland when time permits

Yelp
It's been many years since my husband and I ate here and it's now been a handful of months since we went. I'm way behind, bad reviewer!! Anyway, on a cool, rainy Portland evening, the Bagdad Theater was very cozy and welcoming. It's another of the McMenamin's historic properties that they've turned into restaurants. It's also the first restaurant I ever experienced in Portland, true story! Back then, I had a somewhat mediocre pizza. McMenamin's can be hit and miss on the food, but most of what they offer ranges from pretty good to really good. I have no idea what the history of this property is but it's very cool looking with all of the retro neon signage outside and the painted murals on the inside. Our service was friendly and efficient, and the drinks were tasty and just strong enough. We went pretty simple on the food, I had the chicken tenders which were crispy, tasty and delish. My spouse had the turkey french dip, which he said was very good. All in all, the Bagdad is part of what makes Hawthorne Avenue what is it and a unique part of Portland. I recommend stopping in for a burger, sandwich, tots or a drink.

Yelp
The last 2 times I've been here the soda tasted moldy. Management needs to teach the staff how to remove and clean the soda nozzles, this is a health code violation.
google avatar

Holli M.

Yelp
The restaurant is located on a busy street. The decor tries to match the "Baghdad" feel but was lacking. The food options are all over the place. Burgers, Mexican dishes, seafood. The food was ok nothing spectacular. The saving dish was the cheese curds. And some pumpkin enchiladas.

Yelp
Matinee movie time is great for the whole family! If you go between 3-5 it's happy hour, too! Great movie prices and theatre is awesome!

Yelp
Worst service ever! Staff acted mad they had to do their job . Sat at the bar with empty glasses 15 minutes no service Had to go find a waitress ( as we sat at the bar ) to get our food to go

Yelp
My husband and I went to this McMenamins before going to Helium Comedy Club for dinner. I chose the Jamaican bowl with coconut curry. I went into a mild anaphylactic episode. My husband went to the car to get my medicine and they promptly took the food, let me choose something else and didn't charge us. I know this is "the way it should be," but it is important to highlight the good when it happens. The server was understanding and kept checking on me when my husband went to the car. I never expect for others to "do the right thing" but when they do I want to share it. The food was great also! The Jamaican bowl was very good! If I wasn't allergic, I would order it again. The place was also well decorated and cozy.

Yelp
I'm a big McMenamins fan and I really love this location. I came here on Sunday night and everything was just as great as I remembered since the last time! We walked here for a rainy date night specifically for the famous Cajun tater tots which are seriously drool worthy and split a small pizza. We got "the commuter", which had mushrooms, red onion and bell peppers. I asked for light cheese and they might have forgotten because it was still very cheesy, but I still loved it (was just a little gassy after haha). Our server was Autumn and she was attentive and friendly. She checked in on us throughout to refill waters, bring ketchup and even gave us more information on the passport. It wasn't crowded in the restaurant and we only waited a couple of minutes to be seated. I've never seen a movie here, but I'm excited to check out the theater when something different is playing lol.
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
Every time I walk in here, I encounter extremely rude employees. Every single time . Eventually I'll learn my lesson and just stop trying. Maybe someday there will be some actual customer service. I doubt I'll benefit considering I won't be back.

Yelp
Super cool restaurant with amazing food. Great location and the music is vibing. Can't wait to return

Yelp
I'm usually a McMenMins fan....but the visit I made on 08/05/24 was really disappointing. We sat outside and our server came right away and took our order, but I didn't see him again until he brought us our ticket. I asked the person who delivered our food for ketchup and more water. He brought the ketchup and told us our server would bring more water. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I got up and went inside and asked the bartender for more water. Food was okay, but not great. Hamburger way overdone and had very little Swiss or mushrooms. I think if I hadn't known it was supposed to have these ingredients, I wouldn't have even noticed them. After we were finished and my dinner partner had left, I waited another 15 minutes to get the ticket. Not sure I will return.

Yelp
The Baghdad has been an institution in the Hawthorne neighborhood for decades. One of the few non-plexed old cinemas left in Portland. The decor is fun and it's great to have a balcony. The pizza while not the best in town is edible and some rows have ledges so you can eat nicely. You have to live this place.
google avatar

Nathan R.

Yelp
The Cajun tots are a must! We got a small and my girlfriend and I split it. It was just enough and the seasoning is on point! We saw a large on our way out and it looked big enough to feed a party of 4! Their ranch is just as delicious as well. If you're crazy like us I would ask for another side of ranch to dip your pizza and crust into. Can I get a what what for that? The commuter pizza was juicy and just the right amount of pizza sauce. Our server Autumn was kind, attentive and very informative when we inquired more about their passport program. Pretty sweet digs all around.

Yelp
I really used to enjoy stopping at this pub during my bike rides in SE Portland. The food is usually good and the brews are great. I loved stopping for lunch here - until today. While I was trying to lean my bike against the ouside wall, an employee told me in an unfriendly way that there were racks on the other side of the building. My proble: I don't usually carry a lock with me and needed to stay close to the bike while sitting outside. The unfriendliness was enough for me to decide to move on and never come back. I only had to go a couple more blocks to find a bike friendly restaurant with outdoor seating. I won't be coming back to McMenamins.

Yelp
Excellent brews. Ok grub. Disappearing service. I honestly wish I could of enjoyed a couple more McMenamins beers, but the service was terrible ... and my empty pint glass did little to console me. The restaurant wasn't too busy on a breezy summer afternoon, but the server forgot orders (twice) and vanished for long stretches. It went past inconvenient to the point I actually left ... and headed straight to a nearby bar to finish lunch (and have a few drinks) despite getting the slider trio and a pizza at McMenamins Bagdad. * Blasphemous #2 IPA ($7.25 - 5 stars) This popular locally-brewed India Pale Ale delivered on all accounts with flavor (69 ibu) and buzz (6.06% abv). I enjoyed one. Ordered another ... and then another when it didn't come. * East 19th Nervous Breakdown Pizza ($13 - 4 stars) This seasonal pizza special was cool thanks to Mama Lil's Peppers and Caramelized Onions giving the Italian Sausage a little pick me up. * Cheeseburger Trio ($10 - 3 stars) Three Hawaiian Roll sliders were comforting and easy to eat with French Onion Seasoning, American Cheese, and Mystic 18 Sauce, but it took awhile to get because the server forgot about them. Overall, the McMenamins Bagdad Theater & Pub location has a really cool vibe to it. I liked the decor; however, the restrooms were in bad shape (despite requiring a code for entry) with a broken paper dispenser, trash on the floor, and a gas station toilet aroma. I'm still a fan of the McMenamins beers and totally fine with the bar food, but the service left much to be desired ... and, since I desired it, I left.

Yelp
I used to live in this neighborhood for many years, but never went to this McMenamins before. I assumed it was a small, possibly janky theater inside, so I was pleasantly surprised to round the corner and see this glorious space. At the time I went, they required people to be vaccinated to enter (a plus in my book) and the theater had enough space to have multiple seats between you and anybody else. The drinks and food were good, but not anything special, which didn't make a difference to me because I was there to see a movie. The reason I didn't give this place 5 stars is because they only play one movie for weeks at a time, so despite really wanting to go back and often checking to see if they are playing anything new/relatively good, I've only been able to go once.
google avatar

Yelp
Another gem from the McMenamins chain of family-owned brewpubs & theatres, many masterfully renovated and transformations of historical properties. True to its name, the Bagdad pays homage to a Middle Eastern palace with tiled arches and columns, Moroccan lanterns, carved woodwork and ornate fixtures. The beauty of the theatre adds to the experience. As with all McMenamins' theatres, the draw is the ability to enjoy a beer on tap, hard cider, movie themed cocktail or wine while watching the movie, plus hot food delivered to your seat (Balcony only for table service.) The choices are classic pub food with quirky names; there are many standouts: Fleetwood Mac & Cheese, Gaucho tacos, Brewmaster's Steak Bites, Dilly Tuna sandwich, Hail Caesar Salad, and of course the truffle fries and tater tots! No need to meet friends for a drink or dinner before the movie; just meet at the theatre for HH and hang out at the Theatre Pub, the Back Stage Bar or Cigar Bar located on either side of theatre entrance. Just be prepared to text your friends for exact location; we were meeting at Back Stage but I ended up at a table in the Theatre Pub! All good. Servers work hard and are efficient and friendly without being intrusive. Theatre is old school with just one screen, one movie playing at a time. Seats don't recline but they are big, roomy and comfy. Rows themselves are spacious and in the balcony, there are tables for your food and drinks. Ticket prices for first run movies are less than the huge cinema chains: $10 per ticket for adults 5 pm and later; $8.50 before 5 pm; $7 for children 12 and under. While seeing certain movies with special effects are better on huge movie screens, I'm still giving a 5* rating because I am judging the entire experience, the ambiance, quirkiness, and ability to have full bar and good pub food while enjoying a flick. Oh, and the popcorn is awesome - add the nutritional yeast for a delicious flavor enhancement! Trust me on this one!
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
The atmosphere of this theater is top notch. We were some out of towners looking to do something chill one night and came upon the Baghdad theater. I liked doing the seats upstairs to get a good view of the space. You can also get a drink and snack to watch during the show. We opted for some McMenamins stouts with popcorn . If you have a front row seat up top, there's a little table space in front of you. If not, the seats have cup holders. If you have to use the restroom during the show, you do have to run downstairs. Overall we really enjoyed the theater and would be regulars if we were local.

Yelp
Came for the passport stamps, stayed for the beer-battered cheese curds! Noice! My wife and I have been to a lot of McMenamins locations: we're fans of what they're about. What some would call gentrification, I would call resurrection - glory from the ashes. I know the Bagdad has been under the McMenamins umbrella for thirty-ish years, but it's not only a landmark, it's one of their best examples of their commitment to excellence and authenticity. The food and drinks are always solid here. Most McMenamins locations share a menu, or at least the heavy-hitters, so you know most of the major beats. While I'm not a beer drinker, their cocktails are usually great and priced reasonably. I enjoyed my (first ever!) negroni here, and my wife raved about the Pear Sidecar! And you're missing out if you've never ordered the Hammerhead BBQ Chicken Pizza! Sitting at a window table or on the sidewalk, enjoying a beverage while people watching (and hoo-boy, are there some characters here!), in one of my favorite neighborhoods (Hawthorne), in one of my favorite establishments, makes for a pretty great lazy Sunday! My only complaint this time around was that our waiter was a bit hard to find at times. I appeared he was saddled with serving too many tables at once, but he was friendly and personable, and I'm not faulting him for it. Now, if only this damn virus would go away, so I can see a movie here again!
google avatar

Mayra S.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor and walk yourself to the back of the theatre. Ask or follow the signs and get ready to get transported back to the 20' flapper era. Shane from Kentucky makes a killer Cadillac Margarita(we upgraded To Añejo tequila) and lemon drops! I'm a one and done type of gal with drinks but wow can he shake a good drink up so 1 turned into 2, into 3, into 4 , into 5. $135 later we stumbled back to our place and slept like babies. Great way to start our girls Oregon trip. Also, $135 for endless drinks for 4 gals is CHEAP but quality ingredients and great selection.

Yelp
I loved seeing a movie here for the ambiance of the theater- nice decor, comfortable seats, good sound. The food however was disappointing- I went twice. Once for a movie where I got the goddess salad and a slice of cheese pizza with a couple cocktails and once for dinner where I got the veggie burger and a beer. Was unsatisfied with all the food although the beers and cocktails were nice. The servers at the theater and the host were great and informative. Be aware the lines get very long before a movie even on a weekday night! So get there early to get your food/drinks. The servers at the restaurant were very standoffish. I just went by myself and read my book while waiting for the food- not only did the veggie burger and tots take 25 minutes to come out but the servers seemed peeved to have to serve me. Was hard to get anyone's attention to ask for more ketchup or the bill.

Yelp
Nice place to stop along Hawthorne for drinks and Cajun tots! Like all the McMenamins, the vibe is very fun and unique! Definitely need to come back to the theater!

Yelp
My wife and I love McMenamins. The Bagdad is always a great time! Good beer, delicious food and a movie!

Yelp
What a cool theater. Decent ticket prices and beer, cocktails, and food you can bring in. YOU CAN ORDER A PITCHER OF BEER. I didnt know I needed that in my life until my first trip here. No need to keep getting up to order refills. They only offer table service up on the balcony, but food and drinks are allowed in all parts of the theater. Cocktails are usually themed to go along with whatever movie they are playing which is a fun little detail I love how spacious the rows are, with tables to put your food and drinks on. The seats are springy and comfortable. While they only play one first run movie at a time, this is always my first choice if they are playing a movie I want to see. PITCHERS OF BEER.

Yelp
This is a great spot to see a movie and more, have a good night out with your buddies or that special someone. They did an awesome remodel on this theater and did it in such a way that it still retains the charm it had when I was growing up. Good prices, good staff, good food options and typically an awesome crowd. McMenamins just cant lose!

Yelp
On my maiden voyage to Portland, fortunately i landed on a very beautiful street with a lot of character and old school charm. Bagdad bar was fun visit with lots of cocktails and food options i and my friend visited 2 times on consecutively days and if i ever come again, i know where to go. Lots of fun! Cheers.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Really interesting decor and theme, the lighting and roof of the theatre were particularly interesting. The service at the bar was maybe the quickest I've ever had, thanks! The downside was that in the heatwave Portland recently had, the theatre was like an oven. We were sweating the entire movie.
google avatar

Yelp
A few people highly recommended this place, so I felt obligated to try it. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, and I loved its outdoor seating setup. It reminded me of eating on the street/sidewalk in Europe. The servers were helpful, and the wait time was unbelievably short. I ordered the Portland Dip with Cajun tater tots. The sandwich and the secret sauce lacked flavor, and the cajun tots should be called multicolored salt tots. I would not recommend eating here.
google avatar

Conner J.

Yelp
McMenamins in themselves are usually pretty cool; taking a historic landmark that would have been torn down and turning it into a restaurant is already a cool idea in itself, but this one in particular is even better. It has a magnificent theater that they actively use and the restaurant aesthetics fits really well. All of the furniture, lighting, plants, and even attire works well with the theme. Besides all of that the drinks and service is pretty good as well. They are most likely going to be at minimal showings with COVID but when things ramp back up, this is a great place to go.

Yelp
Love this place so much. Everything about it. Even the long ass lines. My friend got tickets for Black Panther even before I got to Portland. We were watching it for the second time which if you haven't I suggest you do. It was so much better the second time. So anyway. We decided to do some teamwork and sent someone in to secure seats while the other waited for drinks. I think we got there about 30 mine before the movie started. The line for the bar was decent. It seemed long for a bit because there was literally one guy working for a good 3 minutes or so. The line shortened dramatically when another person got there. The seats we got were towards the back on the left side. My favorite thing about the venue is that it's elevated seating so you're sure to have a great view. Instead of having food out tables in front of your person or attached to the seat, there's a long table in front. Each aisle has so much room that you can legitimately put your jacket behind your seat and it's not blocking the person behind you. My only suggestion is to dim the lights a bit more.

Yelp
Terrible service! Never going here again! The lady who helped me took my order and walked away and I stood there waiting. She didn't inform me if I should sit or she was gonna get the check. Nothing until she came up to me with the check. Then I had to go find her to run my card and she's hiding and chatting with her little boyfriend. I ordered their tots with ketchup and come home with container of ranch and no lid. I just paid to find out I'll never go there again.

Yelp
Very tasty breakfast and friendly staff. Had breakfast here while staying at the hotel in McMinnville. Love the decor like all Mcmenamins. The portions are large and very filling. Will definitely pay them another visit soon.

Yelp
My fiancé and I love seeing movies here! They make different movie themed cocktails for each movie. If you want to order food and have it delivered to you, make sure to sit in the balcony.

Yelp
I enjoy this grand old theater and appreciate the care and thought put into it by the staff. The projection is crisp and the sound is perfect and never too loud. The service is spot on and the venue is clean. I'm not a fan of the downstairs bathrooms but that's my only complaint. We're usually in the balcony with beer and tots; it's a good relationship and we'll keep coming back. It helps that the rocker seats are comfy.

Yelp
We went for lunch after visiting Powells and man, the food took forever. I understand when a place is super busy, short staffed, or there are special requests, food it going to take longer to come out, but none of this was the case. There were plenty of empty tables, multiple staff members walking around, and we ordered a salad, two burgers and fries. The food it self was good, nothing amazing, but not greasy spoon. The tater tots were a bit extra crispy and cool. If you are every hungry and need to eat now maybe skip the Bagdad; however, if you plan on a long catchup this is your place.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite theaters to see movies at, but something is wrong with their HVAC, and the theater gets sweltering hot during movies. I can't think of the last time I've been relieved to leave a theater and go back out an 80+ degree summer night. An hour in to a 2+ hour movie I was deeply uncomfortable, and I'm not sure I'll ever go back unless I hear that they've addressed their air flow and cooling issues.
