Winter visit after it had snowed. The visitor center was closed but many plaques to describe the buildings. The nature trail was serene. Good parking at the trailhead on the other side of the highway connected via a tunnel.

My husband and I visited McPolin Barn September 9, 2025. We enjoyed learning the history of the farm and had a wonderful relaxing walk on the trail. It was absolutely beautiful ❤️

Beautiful because of the surrounding area. Not as much to explore as I thought though. Parking is on the opposite side of the freeway and there is a walkway underneath.

It's a pretty barn with a creek and great mountain views. Nice little walk that connects to multiple trails for hiking and biking.

A peaceful place to walk on the trail either to town or back toward Park Village.
There is also a museum display accessible to the public, which allows you to look at the tools and the dining room, and the overall vibe of what it was like to live on the farm

I love this location in Park City for family photos. From old trees to beautiful barns to patriotism to the mountain range there is so much versatility to photograph my clients at this location. And it is free. Park on the opposite side of the freeway and walk under the bridge.

Amazing barn nestled in the mountainside. Great place to walk around explore for kids. Awesome place for an event but this is not open to host or rent for public or personal events. A must see for sure. Great for kids and hard to get around folks. Bit it is a little hilly. Enjoy!
