Wow. The new tasting room is a nice place to enjoy wine. The building is one big clean, open room with a great big view of their outdoor area. Wines were on point, and our server Dustin really added to the experience. He was friendly and knew the wine well. We will visit here again. Cheers.

Google
Visited the new tasting room today. Since it was a beautiful sunny day we tasted outside in a much improved patio. McPrice has some of the best red wines in Paso, complex reds with imaginative blends. Our server, Anthony, made this a winery we will remember for a long time. His sense of humor and engaging personality was infectious. In addition he lovingly explained the history and wine making philosophy of McPrice. This winery is a must stop for us every time we come to Paso.

Lauren Schneider

Google
We came for the big, bold, exciting reds and stayed for the wonderful staff (thanks Katie and Liz!) and consistently amazing and varied tasting menu. The white wines are just as fun and complex as the reds and the new tasting room is such a welcome addition!

Google
I was a bit hesitant, because this winery is offerings are at the upper end of my relevant price range. As I tasted through the flight I discovered they are well worth it. Amazingly balanced and Palate friendly. Our hostess Kate was charming and extremely knowledgeable. The outdoor setting was beautiful. Highly recommend getting a cheese plate. They do also have a moderately priced line called Hard Working Wines. I did not have an opportunity to taste, but the friend I was with said they were also excellent. I will absolutely be back.

Google
We had a wonderful experience! The wine and service were outstanding. Our host was knowledgeable and attentive, and the new space is beautiful. We will be back!

Google
Love the new tasting room! Beautifully appointed. The tasting room and club staff are the best. I always look forward to visiting.

Google
Excellent value wine tasting. We tasted so many wines and they were all great. This place is so laid back and chill. We really enjoyed it and we plan to come back.

Brenden Wood

Google
Outstanding wines. Outstanding folks. Outstanding place. Some of the best vino you’ll get for the buck in Paso Robles!

Yelp
Small, cozy tasting room currently. They will be opening up a larger tasting room soon! Knowledgeable and passionate staff. Their wines changed my mind about California wines. The GSM and MSG blends are fantastic. The Syrah is elegant and holds up against bottles 2x-3x the price. Highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I recently went on a wine tour with my hubby and this was our first stop. This is a quaint, smaller winery in a barn. We sat outside on the cute patio. They're building another area, but it wasn't open yet. The view is nice. All of Paso is beautiful. This was a cute, trendy location, but that's not why I'm reviewing. The WINE was the best wine of the trip. It was all good, but the Grenache!!! I believe it's what they're known for, but this wine was amazing! Such a pleasant wine... we left with 2 bottles. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Excellent Service, wonderful blends! We are looking forward to visiting their new tasting room. We enjoyed Jane's descriptive explanations and extensive knowledge of each wine.

Yelp
Our wine group calls McPrice Myers 'the law firm' because of the name, but don't let the highfalutin name fool you. McM is an absolute gem, great wines at affordable prices, on a nice property, with lovely service. I'm not big on wine clubs, but this is one I can recommend because their wine has been so consistently good. I think they could charge double for the Beautiful Earth, but i'm so glad they don't. :) McM seems to come from a place of, we want to make good wine and we don't want to gouge our customers for it. I guess the word I'm looking for is value, and McM offers it in spades.

Yelp
3 stars for the wine; 4 stars for the service. I did not like the wines very much here. The one that I liked was the white wine. We had a very friendly waitress who was patient with explaining to us about the winery and the names of the wine and how family was incorporated into them. She was also kind enough to give us a map of wineries in paso and suggest others around the area. They are expanding their location and I believe had some kind of b&b also. The ambience of the place was alright...I wasn't too impressed.

Yelp
The standout winery of the day! It was our first time here and our socks were knocked off... Sean was an amazing host and we enjoyed his knowledge and personality. Top 4 wines were: Paper Street Clairette Blanche, Beautiful Earth White, Altas Vinas, & Accoutrements.

Yelp
Stopped by this past weekend for my birthday celebration. Was having lunch and a tasting across the way. Glad this was on the list. I normally go to the same wineries. I belong to 8 just in Paso so of course I love my free tastings. This was a nice change. Due to the weather, it was super cold inside but even colder outside. Plan to go back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the property adding to my tasting experience. I bought a bottle to take home and add to the 100 or so bottles I've already picked up (Spring pick up time) lol. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Yelp
Visited here in November with some friends that were wine club members. We had our tasting outside at the picnic table across the driveway from the tasting room. It was fairly crowded, but everyone in our area was leaving as we arrived. Due to everyone checking out when we got there, it took quite some time to be served any wine, but Katie made sure to make up for it once she was done. Once we had her attention we were her only table, and truly, fully had her attention. She was a lot of fun and did a great job keeping us entertained and telling us about the wines. We even got some bonus pours which is always fun. When two members of our group said they hadn't eaten anything all day but declined the cheese plate because it didn't have any meat, she gave it to them for free to help hold them over. She definitely made it a fun experience and cared that we were having a good time. The wines were also great, they had quite a few red blends. I ended up coming home with two different bottles. I would for sure come back to this winery and look forward to it once they expand their tasting room.

Yelp
I was pleasantly surprised by this winery! Upon walking in, it's super tiny. There's enough seating inside for about 8 people. Yes, that small! I was told they are preparing to remodel so looking forward to that. We were grateful they were able to take us on a Saturday without a reservation. Amy walked us through our wine tasting and she was amazing. We had lots of questions about the different types of grapes and she knew so much. I had never heard of this winery before yesterday, but looking forward to revisiting. Great people and lovely wine.

Yelp
What an amazing group of people and EXCELLENT wine!! We had a great time visiting with Sean and Phillipe as they poured our tastings. We have been to many many wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Carmel Valley & Paso- but McPrice Myers is over top! We recommend- you must taste. We found out about this gem when a neighbor brought us a bottle and told us it was their favorite- they were right! Pass it along

Yelp
You know ! the area has 400 vineyards , we checked about 40 of them in last 10 years because we keep going back to same once. This new place is the new to go forever place for reasoned below: 1. Staff will make you feel you stop by your friends farm for some olive testing and wine drinking . Yes they have olives too.Sean and Kelly welcome you to the McPrice Myers Vineyard as if you stop-by with your Betsy and they do not hesitate to offer you water wine olive and mainly a great wine tasting or buying experience. We all know that we can buy wine at supermarkets without traveling so far away to here but the main reason of vineyard hoping is human interaction. Sean and Kelly do that in the finest way. Even the water for our dog Zoe must be filtered. That is what Kelly said even though tap water was safe for the doggie she brought filtered water for her !!!!. 2. They offered us a vineyard map that is not available anywhere else but some vineyards. 3. They have swamp coolers outside use it if you get there at the summer. As a closing statement people make vineyards special not grapes.
google avatar

Yelp
loved their wines so much that I joined their wine club! don't miss them while in Paso!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
I really liked this winery. Our server Andrew was very helpful and accommodating. They had a great variety of reds and whites. Got a bottle of Viognier to take home. The tasting room inside was the only thing available since they starting remodeling the outside. Would definitely come back!

Yelp
We had a reservation here for our first tasting of the weekend on 11/3/23, and we were not disappointed! McPrice Myers ("Mac") was a wonderful surprise in not only their wines, but in their hospitality, too, and is a definite "Must Stop Here" winery when in Paso. Sean was our very knkowledgable wine concierge, and he was so friendly and entertaining. We rarely plan to repeat wineries during our annual Girl's Trip, but it's a no-brainer that we'll go back again. Out of the 7 "more on the boutique side" wineries we visited over the weekend, Mac was definitely tied as one of 3 favorites (their "Beautiful Earth Red 2021" is amazing!!!). Thanks again Sean for your expertise, and the Alice Cooper trivia, too!!! (Schools Out really is Just Another Brick In The Wall!) Until next time. Cheers!
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
I have been visiting Mac for 15 years and have followed his progress. His wines are becoming my absolute favorites! I am crazy about anything he does with Paper Street juice as well as his FA blend. These are now my cellar treasures for special occasions. Thank you!

Yelp
Yay! What an amazing spot. We called ahead en route on a Sunday afternoon, and Liz was gracious enough to be super welcoming to our group of 6 even on shorter notice that we'd normally plan. We tasted both wines and a variety olive oils on our visit, and holy smokes-- such a fun experience. Liz navigated supporting the three groups (including ours) in the tasting room expertly, ensuring that all parties were well taken care of, entertained, and informed as to what we were tasting. Between funny banter, great wines (I adored their red blends, especially the Altas Vinas mourvedre blend, and the lovely super-dry rose), amazing olive oils, and a cheese plate that my parents raved about, this is a winery that we will definitely return to and steer others to check out. The olive oils have fun and unexpected bits of kick to them-- some pepper, or heat on their finish. Just way beyond the basic. We walked out with two of those, the most amazing Zoom coffee mug (Liz's brainchild), and some incredible wine. Bonus points for eco-friendliness-- their water bottles are reusable, with a refilling station in the retail area of the tasting room. No having to ask for water if you're big on hydration like I am, and better for the environment? Win/win. This spot is also dog (and apparently cat) friendly, so you can bring your fur buds. Thanks for a great time!

Yelp
Absolutely love McPrice. The wine is absolutely delicious! The customer service was amazing!!! They respected our reservations & were even able to take us in a little bit earlier. & im so glad because it started raining & was freezing outside. They also gave us sufficient time to enjoy our wine & relax. The wine server was amazing! She was so sweet, informative & attentive. I'm so sad we forgot her name but she did mention that it was her first month there. So thank you new girl :)
google avatar

Yelp
If you love reds, get here. Unbelievable Zins and Syrah and Cabs and much more! Impressive selection, great staff...very friendly and knowledgeable!
google avatar

Caitlin H.

Yelp
New favorite place in Paso. Came with friends and we had such a great time at this charming little spot and enjoyed the wine so much that we all joined the club. I'm late in reviewing, but that just means that I can say it's been 7 months since we visited and we are all still members. And one of us even went out of their way to return for a visit. We also all kept and still use the complimentary wine glasses and that's the first time that's happened. The wines are excellent--the Clairette Blanche, holy smokes, imagine my disappointment when it sold out. But that's the beauty of boutique wines! Here to pile on to the rave reviews about Katie as well. She made the visit. She was knowledgeable and so beautifully descriptive in her explanations. She would describe the experience of a wine in such a specific and descriptive and unusual way, and then you sipped it and had that exact experience. Never encountered anything like it! Also there was a golden retriever wearing sunglass and sitting on someone's lap so really, stars all around.
google avatar

Leo B.

Yelp
Although not much to look at it, the wines are interesting and the staff super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The tasting room is a converted parking lot on the side of the warehouse. However, the wines are interesting blends from Santa Barbara county (near Los Olivos) and Paso. We sampled primarily their various GSM blends and Syrah. Very enjoyable wine! The wine server was super knowledgeable about the brand and winemaker history and very pleasant. Another staffer was also helpful regarding suggestions for local activities we were discussing for the upcoming holiday season. Overall a great smaller local wine and spot for a Sunday afternoon respite.
google avatar

Susan M.

Yelp
We came here at 11am on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves for the entire tasting (it was not the busy season for Paso). Our host was a bike-loving Frenchman that we unfortunately didn't catch the name of, and he was probably the best winery host we have ever had. Just the right amount of education and story-telling. I also enjoyed hearing the perfect pronunciation of the varietals. The wines are great too! A lot of the wineries in Paso don't allow dogs so we enjoyed being able to bring our pupper.
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
We were tasting at a favorite Paso Robles winery and asked our server there where she'd recommend since we had some additional time. She said McPrice Myers was one of her favorites and called ahead for us. Suffice to say we are delighted she did and they quickly became one of our favorites! Great service, interesting and great wines (excellent value). We joined wine club on the spot and are still enjoying the wines. We absolutely love the Rhone blends and the Zin is also a fav!

Kathy S.

Yelp
Please don't post " walk-in welcome " if they're not ! Had their wine at an event and enjoyed their blends but won't be back BTW ... we were NEVER offered a stand up stand up tasting at the bar Elizabeth
google avatar

Bradley M.

Yelp
Came here with a high hopes as the reviews for this place were awesome. The wine was spectacular! Some of the best in the area. Kudos to the wine maker. We have some great seating outside and totally enjoyed our taste and a glass of wine. Took home a rose and a grenache. Definitely recommend checking this place out.
google avatar

Suzie B.

Yelp
Love this place and their wines even more! Seriously my favorite wines ever, and the experience at their location was second to none. We recently did a Barrel Room tasting where the owner and namesake McPrice Myer actually came and spent with us, the tasting itself was run by Adrian and he was the best! So personable and knowledgeable all at the same time, it was both fascinating and fun! We went on to finish the tasting outside amongst the vineyards where Tasting guide Katie was like a 'cherry on top'. She was amazing , knows her stuff, funny and attentive and represents the company well (never let go of that girl McPrice!). I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed with their wines or the experience.

David G.

Yelp
Even though they are under construction, they make you feel as welcome as if it was their personal home. Kelly was absolutely incredible. She has an amazing knowledge of wine but also an approachable personality that makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. We knew we would be members before we even finished the tasting! We can't wait to come back after the construction is finished and see the new tasting room! Could not recommend enough!
google avatar

Sam L.

Yelp
Fantastic wines. Just a pleasure to drink requiring little thought. Staff is always friendly and they know and love the wine. It's not a job to them it's a way of life!! This was my second time visiting and joining the wine club seemed like a no brainer. Honestly opening a bottle of McPrice Meyers makes it a special day. Check them out you won't regret it!
google avatar

Jenny D.

Yelp
Good bold red wines. They source most of their grapes and are picky about the quality. The expensive wines are FLAVORFUL and will age well. The tasting area is small and outdoors -- not much to look at but worth a visit if you enjoy bold and tasty reds. The winery makes a limited number of white wines. Only one was available but it was outstanding -- Beautiful Earth White at $30 a bottle. Reds ranged from $50 to $90 -- Derry Good

Jose C.

Yelp
It was one of the best experiences we have had in Paso Robles Antony is very knowledgeable and helpful. The staff was very welcoming. The wines were exceptional. We had to to take more then a few bottles home. Thank you
google avatar

Denise L.

Yelp
Loved the service and the winemaker grew up in the same area as me. It was a treat to speak with him and hear his story. The wines were not to our liking but it appears to be a popular place.
google avatar

Jennifer G.

Yelp
Amazing wine, really chill and easy atmosphere. Great winemaker story - love it here !
google avatar

Yvette M.

Yelp
My husband and I went to this winery yesterday. It was our first trip to Paso Robles for wine tasting. In short no other winery compared. The wine was good but what made it EXCELLENT was our sever. Shame on use for not remembering his name. He was an older gentleman, loves biking, originally from France. He had great stories, gave us lots of wine education. We will recommend and go again. Thanks for the fabulous experience

Cipriano H.

Yelp
I'm a member and very happy I did. The staff is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. Our party of six enjoyed all we tasted and bought everything. Great place to start you membership. Katie was fabulous and super informative, outstanding job great fun. Thank bunches!
google avatar

Pamela B.

Yelp
Excellent service. Excellent wine. Andrew rocks!!! Ask for him. Treats you like family

Angie P.

Yelp
Great wines like always. Andrew poured us some great wines! Can't wait for the new tasting room!
google avatar

Emily B.

Yelp
The new outdoor tables and set up have created such a great tasting atmosphere! We've been coming to McPrice Myers for a couple of years now and this last visit was the most enjoyable yet with the one on one service provided by Katie! She was entertaining, carried great conversation, and was so knowledgeable about all wines. Thanks for providing our best experience yet, even with the challenges presented by COVID.
google avatar

Yelp
What an amazing and rewarding find! We stopped in with some friends to pick up a member order, and decided to do some tasting. Right away I knew this winery took its business to the next level. Seriously. Pat was our tasting room hostess, and she was fantastic. She knew every wine, every year, it's history, where the grapes had been grown, what the soil conditions are in that area, how the minerals affect the wine...she knew it all. And she shared it with us as if we were old family come to visit, no reserve, nothing held back. When we asked a few questions about the grapes and their flavor profiles, she filled our glasses and sent us back through the barrel room to the production area, where a guy named Bryce (I hope!) continued to make us feel like kings. He showed us the freshly crushed grapes, the ones actively fermenting outside, answered questions about the process, even got down to the scientific particulars! I was honored and impressed. Every one of the wines I tasted were truly exceptional. I took several home with me, and I'll be back. And not just for the wine.
google avatar

Wendy B.

Yelp
Such a great patio to try great wines. Katie was an excellent host and so good we bought a couple cases. Recommend highly for a safe tasting.
google avatar

Henrik C.

Yelp
We went here for wine tasting hosted by Liz. We tasted 5 wines on their flight of wines. Great experience of tasting both their wine and red wines. Liz provided a wealth of information about the wines, the local areas, ... She is an encyclopedia of knowledge. We very much enjoyed the experience and went away with four bottles of wine for later.
google avatar

Yelp
Long overdue review. Visited this place back in Sept 2019. We obtained the services of a local driver as my wife and I wanted to freely enjoy our anniversary getaway. This was a last minute, not on our radar, visit based on a recommendation of our driver. Amazing Grenache blend and also particularly liked the Kristina (mainly Syrah blend). Friendly staff. Got a little lucky trying a vintage Grenache that must have been opened by someone high up on the chain of commend because the staffer serving us was surprised (so most likely not an every day occurrence). Maybe that made the difference for us and for this review, but in the end we left with 8 bottles. Medium-to-high priced, but so much complexity and flavor. Seems like their wine can sit for a while if you're into that. Seems like a less known place so I'm a little apprehensive to post because I hate wineries that are too popular and get overcrowded.
google avatar

Crosby D.

Yelp
Had such a great time today tasting! The tasting room has done such a great job setting up an outdoor tasting space in Paso heat with AC units... it was almost 100 degrees today and we were still entirely comfortable. Wines and vibes were great... a specific cheers and thanks to our host Kelly! So much passion and knowledge about the wines and she's only worked there three months?! Sheesh what a gem of a find. Thanks again!

Susan R.

Yelp
Excellent wine, a very knowledgeable and friendly wine pourer at the winery. Must stop and enjoy the best of Paso here.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
We had a 50th birthday weekend for my wife that ended at McPrice Myers and it was a perfect end to a great weekend!!! Kimberly was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. This was our second time there in a year. It was such an Amazing experience that a couple of us joined the winery. I know since Covid there are some restrictions, and Kimberly followed the rules but still made us feel at home. We are looking forward to our next visit!!! Thanks Kimberly

Peggy O.

Yelp
Kelly helped us and she was fabulous. When we first arrived we we're hesitate to stay as they are building a new tasting room and the bulldozer was working. We decided to stay and the experience was wonderful. We are so glad we stayed. We highly recommend you make this as one of your stops.
google avatar

Luis V.

Yelp
Had a wonderful tasting at this winery. The minerality of these wines make them very refreshing, especially enjoyed their Beautiful Earth series. Shawn, who guided our tasting experience, was very knowledgeable, an in addition to explaining top level tasting notes was able to dive deeper into how the soil affects the wine, the story of the winemaker, and let us know where we could find their wines locally. The space and setup was also really comfortable, considerate, and safe (given the COVID situation). Would definitely come back.
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
Amazing wines, beautiful setting, great service. We've been wine club members for several years and visit Paso Robles at least once or twice a year. It was over a year since our last visit due to the pandemic. SO nice to be back! Reservations are required for tastings at almost every winery. Price points have gone up since our last visit as well. The secret is out. I do believe a little supply and demand could be influencing pricing in the region but it may be the new post-COVID norm. The $20 tasting fee at McPrice is fair. The pours are liberal, the list expands as you go and you're welcome to revisit favorites. We had a comfortable table just outside the original tasting room on the West side. We received AMAZING service from Danni. She arrived with an energetic smile, was very attentive and educated us about each of the wines she served and patiently answered numerous wine questions. Mac is now offering some nice, lighter to medium bodied wines and thankfully still delivering his BIG Syrahs and GSM+ blends. If you haven't been to the winery yet, make it happen. You won't be disappointed. We left with plenty of 6 packs and big smiles. Thanks Mac, Danni and crew. First class!
google avatar

Reed N.

Yelp
Amazing wines from a small production winery. Great service and education about the area. I can't say enough good things about a place like this. Their single varietal Grenache bottling (SEL DE LA TERRE) is the best Grenache I've ever had. Again... It's small so big groups should call them first (required currently during Covid). Enjoy the experience... you won't forget it.

Yelp
While celebrating our first anniversary we stopped in for a visit. Luckily, Katie was working this day and took care of us. We have known Katie for awhile and she is a true professional who is passionate and knowledgeable about what she is pouring in your glass. She expertly guided us thorough the tasting menu and helped us pair our wine with the cheese box we had ordered. She gave us exactly the right advise to bring out the unique flavors of the wine with the cheese and fruit in the tasting box. Naturally, this greatly enhanced the experience!! My wife and I have been enjoying McPrice Meyers wine for years. It is truly some of the best Paso has to offer. But what makes this winery so special is not just the wine but also the people!! McPrice Meyers and his staff are truly the total package. Do yourself a favor if you're in Paso Robles. Stop in, say hi to Mac, give Indie the wine dog a little scratch behind the ears and ask for Katie. You will have a memorable experience and likely walk away with a new wine club under your belt. Lastly, McPrice Meyers has taken every precaution possible to keep you safe. Hand sanitizer is present, social distancing is in effect and masks are worn. I felt completely safe while tasting here.
google avatar

Ivan C.

Yelp
If you are in the area, would definitely recommend Mcprice Myers! Service here is 5 stars!! Our Tasting Room Guru, Sean was a brilliant raconteur. His knowledge and joyful personality made our tasting a wonderful experience. We will definitely come back and recommend our friends and family here.
