McPrice Myers Wines

We had a great experience at McPrice Myers! We did not have a reservation but they were able to accommodate me and my husband with a table with gorgeous views. Jane was our sommelier and she was awesome! The wines were great and we truly enjoyed our experience. We bought a couple bottles that we look forward to drinking. We visit Paso a few times a year and will definitely add this to our list of wineries to visit when we are there. As a bonus, we got to meet McPrice. He was funny and very welcoming. Five star experience!

We had the experience of a life time. Billy took us up the top of the hills for a spectacular view and tasting. We felt so special to taste great wine with Billy up there. The wines were superb and our wine server was so knowledgeable and attentive. Of course we purchased this great wine.

Wow. The new tasting room is a nice place to enjoy wine. The building is one big clean, open room with a great big view of their outdoor area. Wines were on point, and our server Dustin really added to the experience. He was friendly and knew the wine well. We will visit here again. Cheers.

Loved this winery. Very nice ambiance and good wines. Their tasting room was beautiful. It was late in winter but I can only imagine it during the spring and summer and even on a nice day of winter. Bought some of their wines as they were great.

McPrice Myers is hands down one of my favorite wineries in California. It is a Paso gem that is often overlooked. It is dog friendly, casual, and very friendly. You get top tier wines with a welcoming atmosphere. The first time we visited, it was a super hot day and we had our dogs with us. They accommodated us by putting together a tasting in their barrel room where it was super cool and comfortable for the group. We ended up signing up for a membership because the wine was so great. One of my favorite things if they have free shipping and great holiday deals on their cases of wine. I would recommend this winery for first timers, connoisseurs, and people who want to have a great time.

My favorite winery in my favorite wine region, Paso! I particularly love the F.A. blend and the Paper Street wines they make. McPrice Myers is reasonably priced, and you can even enjoy high quality lower-priced Hard Working wines. I highly recommend this winery for a visit too!

We have been visiting Paso for nearly twenty years, and finally committed to a visit @mcpricemeyers after being members of a number of different wineries in town for years. So glad we made that decision. Mac’s wines are made with intention, balance, and come from nothing but the best fruit he can find. Amazing service and great wine made us members of this winery quickly. It has become our staple for showcasing Paso Robles terroir with our friends and family. I have NEVER been disappointed in any of Mac’s bottles. Everything is amazing! So, check em out, and I’m sure you’ll understand. Their new tasting room is among the finest as well. Beautiful and first class from one of the best wineries in town. Don’t miss it!

Highly recommended--an exceptional experience! The new tasting room is beautiful with classic views of the surrounding vineyards. The patio out back was spacious and comfortable and also had great views of the hills all in a beautifully landscaped setting. And our host, Katie, was excellent. Katie was exceptionally knowledgeable about McPrice Myers wines and the local wine industry and was a genuine pleasure to talk with. But what about the wine? The wine really sealed the deal---every one we had was excellent-. We are local and are looking forward to bringing our out-of-town guests to McPrice Myers to showcase this wonderful region.

We enjoy all of the red wines and specifically the hardworking wines. The names on the bottles are very clever sayings and the wines are delicious.

I just love visiting McPrice Myers! The new tasting room offers a welcoming indoor space as well as outdoor patio tables that are comfortable and have lovely views. The staff is always fun, friendly and accommodating, and they are clearly proud to be serving such great wine. I have found the entire wine lineup to be high quality. Even if a particular varietal isn't up my alley it's clear to me that McPrice Myers starts with excellent fruit and does a fantastic job presenting single varietals and blends that are sophisticated and yet approachable.

McPrice Meyers makes some of the best Syrah based wines in the Paso Robles wine region. I am in the industry and the winery is a must visit every time I am in the area. Always look forward to trying its latest releases. Just visited the new tasting room which ups the experience for visitors. If you are a Syrah lover, you will not be disappointed.

Tasting Flight: $25 for 5 pours (each tasting fee is waived with $75 purchase) Lots of talk and hype about McPrice Myers, but unfortunately, we had a below average experience here. Things started on a bad note when we arrived at 4:00pm and we were told by the gentleman in the tasting room that we were 30 minutes late for our appointed tasting time. I checked my reservation and sure enough, we were late...our bad. Unfortunately, his attitude reflected this for the remainder of our visit. It was a Thursday afternoon, and we were the only people there. Just before we finished, two couples walked in without reservations (the winery next door recommended they come over), and they seemed to be treated much better than we were. The gentleman pouring for us basically told us the vintage and varietal of each pour, then disappeared from the tasting room for 10-15 minutes. We couldn't discuss the wines, winery, or get any information above what was on the tasting notes. In addition, my wife and I were not impressed by the wines, and all the red blends seemed to look and taste the same. We hardly ever dump wine during a tasting, but these were just not to our liking. I always say, everyone's palate is unique and what we like, or don't like, may be completely different from you, so definitely try them for yourself. As I mentioned in the beginning, many people love McPrice Myers wines, but they weren't for us. Not sure we'd stop in again.

My favorite place to visit when in Paso Robles. Staff is always so friendly and always greets you with a smile. Sometimes it's nice to see "Mac" the winemaker in the tasting room. He always makes an effort to visit your table to say hello. But the main reason, my husband and I joined their wine club is that the wine is so good and very reasonable.

McPrice Myers is the Best!! There new tasting room is Amazing and there outdoor patio is Beautiful. The hospitality towards the members and first time visitors is unbelievable. We bring our dogs every time and they give them beds and water. The big thing is that there wine is Top notch and they have a variety to accommodate everyone. Thank you very much Mac and your staff for making every visit a Great one!!

I love their wines and the winery is spectacular! Lovely tasting room, good food when they have parties and the service is wonderful! I'm so glad our friends told us about this winery....it is a new "go to" when we have out of town guests! OH, it's DOG FRIENDLY too! They have beds and bowls for water. Really a lovely place.

What an amazing find- We have enjoyed these wines before through my niece who has a membership- finally took the opportunity to come with her and do a tasting ourselves! Fantastic winery, not pretentious, but elegant and relaxed-beautiful patio. Our host was fantastic, very knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He brought us blankets when we got chilly,an amazing cheese plate to have along with our wines absolutely perfect! The wines are interesting, and varied. Their price point is fair too- We loved everything we tried, and bought a case + of single grape, blends, white, red....absolutely delicious- we served some for Thanksgiving, some for a birthday ...and we MAY have a bottle or so left for Christmas...I think I may need to joint their wine club !:)

Love visiting this winery in Paso Robles. They have great wines and a very scenic patio area that you can enjoy views of the vineyards. I especially enjoy their red wines, fruit forward and full body. Can't wait to return and try the next release of great wines.

McPrice Myers Wines and Winery is a SPECIAL winery not only for the excellent quality of wines, the excellent varying price points but also because of their employees. You won't meet a friendlier more helpful group of associates! This Winery wind on all levels!

The secret is out, the atmosphere and wines at McPrice Myers are outstanding. The environment and staff are friendly and welcoming. With the new tasting room it's a great place to chill, enjoy the views and hang out under the big oak trees. Highly recommend.

Great service, superb wines and dog friendly, can't get much better than that. Owe and the setting, although a little industrial, was perfect, lots of shade, easy parking and lovely local views.

This is at least our third time coming to McPrice Myers over the years. The new tasting room is large and comfortable. (And has GREAT Air Conditioning!) ......... The service was prompt and friendly, and the wines are very good. We'll be back.

This was our first time visiting the new tasting room at Mcprice Myers. We have been members for several years as the wines are outstanding and are also a great value. The new tasting room is beautiful and well appointed. Service was attentive and friendly and the wines were all on point today. Try a cheese plate to accompany your wine! What you get when you cross the friendliest staff, the loveliest location, and hands down the yummiest reds and crispy whites, well you've got it all. Been going here for a few years and never disappointed. New tasting room is stunningly understated McPM is the epitome of what the Central Coast delivers. Visit and you won't be disappointed.

The winery is beautiful and is located in a quiet area. There is an indoor and outdoor space. We have had the best tastings and the last time enjoyed some delicious crackers. Everyone is attentive and excited to be there and share their knowledge on the wine and olive oil.

We visited the new wine tasting room at McPrice and we absolutely loved it. The service provided by our wine expert was above and beyond our expectations. She was very knowledgeable about the wines and like always the wine was amazing. So much so that we rejoined the wine club. If you haven't been to the winery Mac makes some amazing wines highly recommend to any wine lover.

My husband and I LOVE McPrice Myers wine. The working man wines provide quality at a great value. We especially enjoy the Syrah and GSM blends. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and always have provided great service. The new tasting room and provides a great venue for tasting wine and bonus it is dog friendly.

We've been members here for a couple of years, having originally tried the Hard Working Wines series that is widely available and provide excellent QPR. Our first visit to the winery hooked us on all the rest. Absolutely phenomenal wines across the board, broadly in Rhone varietal territory. The tasting room/patio was great when when it was next to the production facility, but the recent move "up the hill" has made for an even better experience, with a superb view. The service is always outstanding, there's never a rush, even if they're busy. Tons of knowledge among the staff, and Mac has made appearances most of the times we've been there. He is very engaging! We've tried many dozens of wineries in the Paso/SLO area, and it's our top pick. Highly recommended!

It is always a wonderful experience to go tasting at McPrice Myers Winery. Not only are the wines great, but the ambiance at the new tasting room is lovely and the servers are fabulous. You are always treated like you have been a member forever. Highly recommend a visit to this winery. You will not be disappointed!

Small, cozy tasting room currently. They will be opening up a larger tasting room soon! Knowledgeable and passionate staff. Their wines changed my mind about California wines. The GSM and MSG blends are fantastic. The Syrah is elegant and holds up against bottles 2x-3x the price. Highly recommend this place! I will definitely be back soon!

After attending a wine seminar at which McPrice was a guest speaker, we visited his winery. The tasting experience was attentive and enjoyable. We had absolutely no intention of joining a wine club in Paso Robles yet we left the tasting as Wine Club Members.

This place is wonderful! We had a great time stopping by and tasting some amazing wines with the cheese pairing. If you're a fan of unique red blends, this is the place for you. The property is stunning. It's a peaceful place to unwind.

I recently went on a wine tour with my hubby and this was our first stop. This is a quaint, smaller winery in a barn. We sat outside on the cute patio. They're building another area, but it wasn't open yet. The view is nice. All of Paso is beautiful. This was a cute, trendy location, but that's not why I'm reviewing. The WINE was the best wine of the trip. It was all good, but the Grenache!!! I believe it's what they're known for, but this wine was amazing! Such a pleasant wine... we left with 2 bottles. Highly recommend.

3 stars for the wine; 4 stars for the service. I did not like the wines very much here. The one that I liked was the white wine. We had a very friendly waitress who was patient with explaining to us about the winery and the names of the wine and how family was incorporated into them. She was also kind enough to give us a map of wineries in paso and suggest others around the area. They are expanding their location and I believe had some kind of b&b also. The ambience of the place was alright...I wasn't too impressed.

Great boutique winery with a beautiful, newly renovated tasting space and superb wine. Our host Tim was knowledgeable about the winery and the Paso wine industry abroad. Bravo

Stopped by this past weekend for my birthday celebration. Was having lunch and a tasting across the way. Glad this was on the list. I normally go to the same wineries. I belong to 8 just in Paso so of course I love my free tastings. This was a nice change. Due to the weather, it was super cold inside but even colder outside. Plan to go back when the weather is warmer to enjoy the property adding to my tasting experience. I bought a bottle to take home and add to the 100 or so bottles I've already picked up (Spring pick up time) lol. This is a hidden gem and I highly recommend giving them a try.

Visited here in November with some friends that were wine club members. We had our tasting outside at the picnic table across the driveway from the tasting room. It was fairly crowded, but everyone in our area was leaving as we arrived. Due to everyone checking out when we got there, it took quite some time to be served any wine, but Katie made sure to make up for it once she was done. Once we had her attention we were her only table, and truly, fully had her attention. She was a lot of fun and did a great job keeping us entertained and telling us about the wines. We even got some bonus pours which is always fun. When two members of our group said they hadn't eaten anything all day but declined the cheese plate because it didn't have any meat, she gave it to them for free to help hold them over. She definitely made it a fun experience and cared that we were having a good time. The wines were also great, they had quite a few red blends. I ended up coming home with two different bottles. I would for sure come back to this winery and look forward to it once they expand their tasting room.

What an amazing group of people and EXCELLENT wine!! We had a great time visiting with Sean and Phillipe as they poured our tastings. We have been to many many wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Carmel Valley & Paso- but McPrice Myers is over top! We recommend- you must taste. We found out about this gem when a neighbor brought us a bottle and told us it was their favorite- they were right! Pass it along

Our wine group calls McPrice Myers 'the law firm' because of the name, but don't let the highfalutin name fool you. McM is an absolute gem, great wines at affordable prices, on a nice property, with lovely service. I'm not big on wine clubs, but this is one I can recommend because their wine has been so consistently good. I think they could charge double for the Beautiful Earth, but i'm so glad they don't. :) McM seems to come from a place of, we want to make good wine and we don't want to gouge our customers for it. I guess the word I'm looking for is value, and McM offers it in spades.

The standout winery of the day! It was our first time here and our socks were knocked off... Sean was an amazing host and we enjoyed his knowledge and personality. Top 4 wines were: Paper Street Clairette Blanche, Beautiful Earth White, Altas Vinas, & Accoutrements.

I really liked this winery. Our server Andrew was very helpful and accommodating. They had a great variety of reds and whites. Got a bottle of Viognier to take home.The tasting room inside was the only thing available since they starting remodeling the outside. Would definitely come back!

You know ! the area has 400 vineyards , we checked about 40 of them in last 10 years because we keep going back to same once. This new place is the new to go forever place for reasoned below: 1. Staff will make you feel you stop by your friends farm for some olive testing and wine drinking . Yes they have olives too.Sean and Kelly welcome you to the McPrice Myers Vineyard as if you stop-by with your Betsy and they do not hesitate to offer you water wine olive and mainly a great wine tasting or buying experience. We all know that we can buy wine at supermarkets without traveling so far away to here but the main reason of vineyard hoping is human interaction. Sean and Kelly do that in the finest way. Even the water for our dog Zoe must be filtered. That is what Kelly said even though tap water was safe for the doggie she brought filtered water for her !!!!. 2. They offered us a vineyard map that is not available anywhere else but some vineyards. 3. They have swamp coolers outside use it if you get there at the summer. As a closing statement people make vineyards special not grapes.

Yay! What an amazing spot. We called ahead en route on a Sunday afternoon, and Liz was gracious enough to be super welcoming to our group of 6 even on shorter notice that we'd normally plan. We tasted both wines and a variety olive oils on our visit, and holy smokes-- such a fun experience. Liz navigated supporting the three groups (including ours) in the tasting room expertly, ensuring that all parties were well taken care of, entertained, and informed as to what we were tasting. Between funny banter, great wines (I adored their red blends, especially the Altas Vinas mourvedre blend, and the lovely super-dry rose), amazing olive oils, and a cheese plate that my parents raved about, this is a winery that we will definitely return to and steer others to check out. The olive oils have fun and unexpected bits of kick to them-- some pepper, or heat on their finish. Just way beyond the basic. We walked out with two of those, the most amazing Zoom coffee mug (Liz's brainchild), and some incredible wine. Bonus points for eco-friendliness-- their water bottles are reusable, with a refilling station in the retail area of the tasting room. No having to ask for water if you're big on hydration like I am, and better for the environment? Win/win. This spot is also dog (and apparently cat) friendly, so you can bring your fur buds. Thanks for a great time!

I have been visiting Mac for 15 years and have followed his progress. His wines are becoming my absolute favorites! I am crazy about anything he does with Paper Street juice as well as his FA blend. These are now my cellar treasures for special occasions. Thank you!

We had a reservation here for our first tasting of the weekend on 11/3/23, and we were not disappointed! McPrice Myers ("Mac") was a wonderful surprise in not only their wines, but in their hospitality, too, and is a definite "Must Stop Here" winery when in Paso. Sean was our very knkowledgable wine concierge, and he was so friendly and entertaining. We rarely plan to repeat wineries during our annual Girl's Trip, but it's a no-brainer that we'll go back again. Out of the 7 "more on the boutique side" wineries we visited over the weekend, Mac was definitely tied as one of 3 favorites (their "Beautiful Earth Red 2021" is amazing!!!). Thanks again Sean for your expertise, and the Alice Cooper trivia, too!!! (Schools Out really is Just Another Brick In The Wall!) Until next time. Cheers!

Absolutely love McPrice. The wine is absolutely delicious! The customer service was amazing!!! They respected our reservations & were even able to take us in a little bit earlier. & im so glad because it started raining & was freezing outside. They also gave us sufficient time to enjoy our wine & relax. The wine server was amazing! She was so sweet, informative & attentive. I'm so sad we forgot her name but she did mention that it was her first month there. So thank you new girl :)

New favorite place in Paso. Came with friends and we had such a great time at this charming little spot and enjoyed the wine so much that we all joined the club. I'm late in reviewing, but that just means that I can say it's been 7 months since we visited and we are all still members. And one of us even went out of their way to return for a visit. We also all kept and still use the complimentary wine glasses and that's the first time that's happened. The wines are excellent--the Clairette Blanche, holy smokes, imagine my disappointment when it sold out. But that's the beauty of boutique wines! Here to pile on to the rave reviews about Katie as well. She made the visit. She was knowledgeable and so beautifully descriptive in her explanations. She would describe the experience of a wine in such a specific and descriptive and unusual way, and then you sipped it and had that exact experience. Never encountered anything like it! Also there was a golden retriever wearing sunglass and sitting on someone's lap so really, stars all around.

I was pleasantly surprised by this winery! Upon walking in, it's super tiny. There's enough seating inside for about 8 people. Yes, that small! I was told they are preparing to remodel so looking forward to that. We were grateful they were able to take us on a Saturday without a reservation. Amy walked us through our wine tasting and she was amazing. We had lots of questions about the different types of grapes and she knew so much. I had never heard of this winery before yesterday, but looking forward to revisiting. Great people and lovely wine.

Although not much to look at it, the wines are interesting and the staff super nice, knowledgeable and helpful. The tasting room is a converted parking lot on the side of the warehouse. However, the wines are interesting blends from Santa Barbara county (near Los Olivos) and Paso. We sampled primarily their various GSM blends and Syrah. Very enjoyable wine! The wine server was super knowledgeable about the brand and winemaker history and very pleasant. Another staffer was also helpful regarding suggestions for local activities we were discussing for the upcoming holiday season. Overall a great smaller local wine and spot for a Sunday afternoon respite.

If you love reds, get here. Unbelievable Zins and Syrah and Cabs and much more! Impressive selection, great staff...very friendly and knowledgeable!

We were tasting at a favorite Paso Robles winery and asked our server there where she'd recommend since we had some additional time. She said McPrice Myers was one of her favorites and called ahead for us. Suffice to say we are delighted she did and they quickly became one of our favorites! Great service, interesting and great wines (excellent value). We joined wine club on the spot and are still enjoying the wines. We absolutely love the Rhone blends and the Zin is also a fav!

Love this place and their wines even more! Seriously my favorite wines ever, and the experience at their location was second to none. We recently did a Barrel Room tasting where the owner and namesake McPrice Myer actually came and spent with us, the tasting itself was run by Adrian and he was the best! So personable and knowledgeable all at the same time, it was both fascinating and fun! We went on to finish the tasting outside amongst the vineyards where Tasting guide Katie was like a 'cherry on top'. She was amazing , knows her stuff, funny and attentive and represents the company well (never let go of that girl McPrice!). I highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed with their wines or the experience.
