Had a fantastic meal at McSwiggans in Galway! We were a group of three and were all seriously impressed — the meat dishes were absolutely delicious, full of flavour and cooked to perfection. The service was fast and friendly, with staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, a great spot for both locals and visitors. Definitely a place I’d return to — highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Irish food in Galway

We had a really nice lunch in here a week ago. The service was really good, the food was tasty, and the restaurant itself is very nice. I had the bacon chop with a delicious sauce, it was really tasty, and the others I was with had the seafood dish which they said was great too. Thank you for a lovely experience.

We had one of the best steaks ever, definitely top 5 in Ireland and it is not as pricey as most steakhouses and restaurants in general. The menu was quite varied and there was a good range of different steak options from good quality Irish beef. They also do not overcook the meat, which is not something to be taken for granted everywhere, if you order medium-rare, they give you medium-rare. The portions are big, and the dips are incredibly good. Looking forward to being back. Also, the staff was polite and friendly.

Lamb stew was excellent. The seafood platter was not what we expected, but it was also good. Environment was nice. I thought I was too old to enjoy live music during a meal, but this was just right- a few Irish tunes and I could still carry on a conversation with my husband. We had a little trouble flagging down a server when we wanted to add to our meal, but they were busy that night.

Everything about our experience was top notch! Wait staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. It was a cute multistory restaurant. The food was amazing, from the oysters & mussels and the way to the sticky toffee pudding!

Absolutely loved this place. The food was superb. Husband had the lamb shank, meat fell right off the bone. I had th 10oz sirloin. Cooked to perfection. Rodrigo, our server, was extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive.

Fine big restaurant with bar area. Food was brilliant. Steak nicest I've had in a long time. Also deserts and sides were lovely. Highly recommend to anyone looking top class Irish food

Was really looking forward to the Sunday Roast, unfortunately it was cooked til resembling leather even though I requested it as pink as possible. All the sides were cooked very well and tasty however the meat was bad. The mussels and wine were fine, and the service was friendly. They need to fix the horrible overcooked beef!
