I had gone there with my family during a recent holiday, its a very well maintained place that showcases the wonders of the local culture and the setting is very authentic. For a place like this, there is no entry fee and the staff and guides there are extremely polite and helpful in their explanation. The manager of the museum was very friendly and created a very good atmosphere. While there may be other glitzy areas of Dubai one can visit, you should make a stop to these places that explain the tradition and history of the Emirati culture at its finest. It is situated very close to the Deira gold souk and is accessible by taxi/ metro etc. Combine this with Fahidi Fort and Al-Bastakiya
