The reception felt a bit crowded around check-in times. The entry is right of the Immermanstrasse. Staff is friendly, we had to wait till 15h to get our rooms, but we had 1 room upgrade, which we were thankfull for as long as we got 2 rooms next to eachother. We were on the 3rd floor, not the higher floor courtyard view, but this was OK as the view was of the back corner. The corner room was huge with a sofa(bed) and big closet, desk, there were some books and side tables. The furniture looked nice and clean. It would be comfy enough for longer stays. There were a lot of sprinklers in the ceiling so I think it's quiet safe when there is a fire. The normal room was small, but good enough for 2 nights. Both rooms had king beds. We received complimentary water. In the corner room, he toilet is in a separate cubicle. The bathroom had a sliding door, leading to 2 sinks, lots of space to put your stuff and a walk-in (rain)shower. There were bathroom amenities and enough towels. Downside was that the water pressure in the shower was low and there were no slippers, but we had brought our own. The parking is expensive, so we parked somewhere else in the neighbourhood. The bed had 3 types of pillows, but all were too soft or flat for me. The bed had a mattrass topper, but the middle was softer than the sides, suggesting a bit worn, older mattrass. The room was warm, even in december, but you can open the windows facing the streets. I assume in summer it would get really hot. The curtains were heavy enough to keep the lights out and even though we were in the middle of the city, it was quiet, you can hear a little bit of streetsounds and if you're unlucky, you can hear the loud neighbours, not the hotel's fault. At night you can see the light on the TV and some cracks around the curtains will let the light through. Best of all is the location, can't beat it if you want to visit Little Tokyo and walkable distances to the Xmas markets. I would stay here again.
