Great fun hangout! Food was great and served in large portions! We loved reading the walls! Funny quotes that make great talking points. They have balcony for people watching. Clean restrooms. This particular restaurant is the one around the corner and up the stairs.

We got there for diner and it was 11 of us. Despite the fact we did not have a reservation the waitress quickly put together a large table to accommodate us. The atmosphere is very casual with good vibes. The phrases on the walls make you laugh and relax. The large variety of dishes makes it very enjoyable for anyone. The prices are reasonable. We had some shrimp tacos, tuna tostadas and beef tacos. Delicious.

Las majores enchiladas de mi vida! We went to the middle floor, where they served Mexican food and had the best enchiladas of my life. The food is reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is excellent. I'm sure it would have been lively had we gone on the weekend. When we went, it was quiet and we had the space mostly to ourselves. The platillos are huge (see my photo of the enchiladas). The margarita was awesome , though it tasted like it had 0 drops of alcohol, which was fine for me. It still tasted wonderful. The wait staff was excellent, polite, and knowledgeable on their food. The restrooms were clean. They only have 2 bathrooms, single use. One for women and one for men. I imagine this can create quite a wait. My friend had to go to the bathroom an hour or so after we had left but were still in the area, and they let her come back and use it there. Great service. Will definitely go back when I'm back in town!

Good food with great service. I had the torta carnitas and you can see how big it is. My wife had the ceviche and she liked it. Price is decent as well.

Came here because it was recommended by a local. They have an English menu if you ask for it. No one spoke English so I had to speak with the little Spanish I know. Service overall was good. The waiter checked on me multiple times. FOOD AND DRINK: Agua de jamaica (4/5): I like that the drink wasn't too sweet. It doesn't taste authentic as I've made it with fresh hibiscus leaves before. Al pastor and carnita taco (3/5): Very small in size. I liked the al pastor better. Better flavor than the carnita taco. Fish ceviche with mango (5/5): Enjoyed this dish the most. It was fresh and tasty. Eaten by itself or with tostadas. It's enough for one person. The red sauce is more spicy. The green sauce is also spicy. If I had to return back, it would only be for the ceviche.

I’m a New Yorker so take this with bias. However this pizza was very average at best even for non NYC pizza. My friends however love it which is why I would still recommend it if you’re in the area

Loved their Chilaquiles! Also the atmosphere and vibe of this place. Service was just ok, nothing special about it. It wasn't bad, but we had to keep reminding our server about stuff we ordered and took too long to get to our table because he forgot. The restaurant wasn't even busy at the time since we were his only table.

Yelp
Translation: In this building it consists of three different restaurants in each floor; la sirena embarazada, Matarile and La divina Pizza. In this instance we visited La Divina Pizza since we wanted to get a drink with the city view. The pizza looked very good which they use an actual wood fire oven and there was people coming in and out so the place was pretty poppin considering it is in a semi touristy area. This time around we did not eat we only tried their drinks which surprisingly they did have a variety to choose from. Their margaritas are made with real actual fruit and can taste the mango or strawberry on your first sip. Also got to try their house sangria which was also very delicious. The service was very attentive and hospitable considering they had a full house. Again despite being in a touristy area I felt the ambient being very fun yet enjoyable!

Yelp
Place is OK. Food was good, but the service was terrible. I wanted to order more food, more drinks but server never came. Asked for the check several times, finally paid and tipped 10%. the waitress which i only saw once came back saying i needed to tip more, i told her i tipped enough, didnt think she deserved more, well she wouldnt take no for an answer and literally made me pay her 30% tip, when all we had was 1 pizza and 2 drinks.

Yelp
Located in the touristy district of Monterrey this place is not your typical Mexican restaurant - nice atmosphere, but the food and service is lacking. I had the Tortilla soup which was the only decent item that our table managed to order - everything else was a complete bust. The Guacamole was basically a squashed avocado, but with zero flavor. The Huarache, Quesadilla and Enchilada were all (according to my coworkers) quite bad and tasteless. I suppose the name is quite appropriate given that you will definitely die of hunger if you come here.

Yelp
Best food in Monterrey! Clean restaurant and friendly staff. Great location to people watch too

Yelp
Don't miss this place. The food is great and the price you won't a better price. There are 3 restaurant, the 1st floor is a seafood place with an unbelievable fried octopus chips. Move over okra, I have a new love. Then the tacos starting with the fish taco that matches anything you could have in California. Move to the second floor and have dinner on a Mexican grill with cafe de olla. Really old school quality. Finally go to the third floor that is an Italian restaurant with a superb pizza. Plus one of the best view in Monterey. On the weekend the have life music but be prepared to wait an hour. Super cool atmosphere with great food. When you go ask for Ilda, a super nice waitress that showed us around.

Yelp
The food was good and the views are spectacular! The reason for only four stars was for the limited menu.

Yelp
So good!! Prices are very reasonable. I went to the part part of the restaurant called La Sirena Embarasada. The shrimp ceviche was incredible. The atmosphere and decor are awesome. Totally recommend for a light lunch and refreshing beverages.

Yelp
I'm was automatically in love with this place Costra Rib eye tacos were crazy good We ordered 3 different dishes and they were all outstanding. Yelp
Excellent food and presentation of each plate. Service was on point. Wide variety of drinks and food choices. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Tasty tacos, fun eclectic atmosphere, great service, taco stand prices, and right in the heart of the historic district (Barrio Antiguo) Perfect! We ate tacos pastor and fried broccoli (chicharron).

Claudia N.

Yelp
Food was good, enjoyable atmosphere. Ordered the huarache de arrachera and had a beautiful presentation and flavor. The seasoning of the arrachera was a bit overwhelming, hence docked one star. The mineralized lemonade was refreshing. Good variety of cocktails and drinks to enjoy. Would definitely return.

Yelp
I'm so excited to write this review. I'd seen that it's rated the best restaurant in Monterrey, and now I can see why. Even basic foods such as guacamole and flautas were outstanding. It has A/C (a rare gem) and the atmosphere is unbeatable. Everyone has been super nice and hospitable. I can't say enough good things about it. The only slightly negative thing I can say is that the margarita wasn't strong and I had to order another shot for it. Otherwise, 11/10. We will be back.

Yelp
Has one of prettiest views in Monterrey. There are several floors with the third floor being my personal favorite. It's a pizzeria on the top floor. I'm pretty sure you can order from the pizzeria from the lower levels as well. I've seen pretty on the 2nd floor getting pizzas brought down.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful views. Great food and friendly staff. Parking was a little difficult but worth the walk.

Yelp
I only hung out on 3rd floor because the city view is amazing. Pizza is the thing up there and it's actually pretty good but not necessarily what you're looking for in Mexico. I would agree that this place may have some of the best views of the city and cerro de la silla so it's definitely worth hanging out and enjoying some beers and eats. It's a great spot for hanging out when weather is nice and things are casual.
